Very Close to Beaches , Very Close to Town. My sight was right on US-1 and I hardly noticed it was there. The people working there was very Friendly and Helpful. Located near the Walking path to Pismo Beach the town on the Beach. My sight was for a 26ft class C with enough room to park a car next to RV. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Second time we've stayed here. The people that work there are the nicest. The facilities are very clean. They have a handicap restroom and shower which is great; it is a bit tough for our teenager who is in a wheelchair to shower in the trailer. Showers and restrooms were really clean. It is a bit tight to get in and out of spots but obviously doable! You can have a raised from ground fire, that is kind of a bummer but you can do a bonfire on the beach in walking distance. We brought the EZ up the second time, that was needed, there is NO shade. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a smaller RV park directly off Highway 1. It's near the highway and a railroad track so it is somewhat noisy. The mostly level gravel sites are close together with no grass or trees which is the reason for the lower review. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

What makes this park attractive is that it is very close walking distance to a dog friendly beautiful beach. In addition it is a short drive to numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping.

Rosa's Italian restaurant in Pismo Beach was excellent.

The Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove is well worth a visit during the winter months.

This area of the Central Coast has so many activities and is so beautiful that you may not need to spend much time in the park.

Overall Rating:

The park was clean and tidy, however sites were extremely tight - we were put in a site next to a family that had a dog enclosure and an outdoor shelter type thing outside their rig, and our slide-out almost was touching. We had to move the picnic table at our site in order to be able to get parked. Also the site was not very level, and the gravel was so piled up that our levelers slipped and slid on it (as did we, when we tried to walk.) It was a reasonable price and was within easy reach by car of restaurants and sights. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate listed was the off-season weekly rate (divided by 7). Love the location of this RV Park. It's within walking distance of the beach, boardwalk along the dunes, and golf. The facilities are kept very clean. They were re-doing some of the bathrooms while we were there so they'll be even nicer. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very close to the towns of Grover Beach and Pismo Beach, so there are plenty of shops & restaurants. We will definitely come stay here again! We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Rate shown weekly rate for a large pull-through site divided by 7. Our site was a long gravel pull-through which sloped a lot on half of the pad. I had to use 6 inches of leveling boards on one front wheel alone. There is no privacy between the sites. All utilities worked fine. No cable TV, but I was able to use my satellite dish. The Wi-Fi that is available is through a third party and has nothing to do with the park. When I asked staff about reliability of this Wi-Fi the answer was not very complementary. One has to ask why this park would keep this Wi-Fi connection then. I did not use it so can't attest to its reliability. There is a DVD lending library as well as a book exchange in the office. To use the restrooms, showers, and laundry a $10 deposit for a key is required. The laundry is a long walk into the adjacent mobile home park. However, this park has excellent access to the beach, dunes, restaurants, and the butterfly grove. For those reasons I would stay here again. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Motorhome.

As doglovers we want to correct a previous review stating this was a good area for dogs. While you can walk them on the beach, leash laws are enforced. It is quite a bit farther than 200 yards to the beach. Train track directly outside the park which is quite loud when trains come through. Also the park has limited hours and staff is off site. That said, it's okay for a night passing through. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice small RV park within walking distance (maybe 200 yards) to the ocean. Dog friendly beach on one side and ATVs and 4 wheel drive trucks on the other side. Sites are average size for small RV park. Enough room to park RV and at least 1 vehicle. Friendly people in park and friendly staff. I usually stay at another park a few miles a way at double the price of this park. This park is my new park to stay in Grover Beach, CA. RV space lay out is good for small park. Will return for sure. Overall Rating:

Nice smaller park, but within walking distance of the ocean. The price reflects a $200 weekly price. The sites are ample, come with a picnic table and most are level though some present a bit of a challenge. Shopping is within a few miles and we enjoyed the walk to the north along the sand dune path and through town to the Pismo Beach Pier. There is a golf course close by and a state park also. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nicely located site near downtown Grover Beach on Route 1. The beach itself is a short walk down a park road and is gorgeous, with dunes and a curved vista looking north toward the mountains that lead to Big Sur. The campground itself is tidy but tightly stacked, and it was also packed as it was spring break week. The restrooms were somewhat clean, although one always had water on the floor. Showers were behind separate doors. The laundry is a 10 minute walk from the park about 5 blocks into an adjacent mobile home park, which was not convenient. Plus on the day I was doing laundry, someone was monopolizing all of the washers, then all of the dryers, forcing everyone else to wait. There was train noise once or twice from a track that runs along Route 1, but it was infrequent enough that it didn't bother us. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a small RV Park, but in very nice condition. During the last 2 weeks they had the access roads sealed, so it is even nicer now. I stayed for a month, so the rate reflects that. Check their website for daily/weekly rates, and the seasonal rate changes (May-Sep). The website is the major weakness, in my opinion. It is not well designed and makes it hard to read rates and information. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was originally going to stay 3 weeks but when I showed up the desk staff said if I was going to stay an extra day or so I should say I'm staying for the month so I can get the better rate (3 weeks cost more than 1 month). You don't get any payment back if you leave early but if you end up saving money on the deal it works out. I like this park and will be returning in April. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

A very nice, clean park with easy access and super close to the beach with a friendly, helpful staff. Just a block to the drive on entrance to Grover Beach (one of the few CA beaches you can drive on) and dunes. We were parked right on the corner of busy Hwy 1 and the beach access but we rarely heard the traffic noise and sometimes heard the ocean at night. Don't miss Fins, a nice restaurant/bar right next to the beach entrance with a great happy hour. There is also a nice boardwalk on the other side of Fins that winds through the dunes with great views of the ocean. Great park that we would stay at again while visiting friends. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
