Stayed one night. Very nice park. Sites are set up so that the sites give some privacy. The park only has 30 amp service but there is shade & rig cooled off quickly in the 90 degree heat. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were in a back-in site on the pond. Level, dirt & gravel. Picnic table, fire pit (wood is sold in the office), shade trees. The Wi-Fi didn't work, maybe we were to far from the office to connect(?). Wi-Fi code will grant you only 2-hours (continuous) per day. Cable TV with about 6 channels that were OK. Shower & restroom were clean, get door code. Some road noise during the day, but quiet at night. Fishing in the campground pond is only with barbless flies and you must release any trout you catch. Restaurant and small store. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Subway Cave near the town of Old Station is a great experience, bring a flashlight(s) and sweatshirt. Easy trout fishing across the street from the Cassel Post Office. McArthur-Burney Falls State park with their year round waterfall.

Very nice park. Only complaints are that road noise is high, there is no cell service because of an observatory and Wi-Fi is poor and severely limited. Lots of trails, great sites, very pretty. Centrally located. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had stayed here for 3 nights with friends at the adjacent site. We were right next to the small lake. The park is very pleasant, well maintained, and the facilities are clean. Fire wood is available which we used each night, no bugs and perfect. There is also a small restaurant on site and is used by locals. While we didn't eat there, it did smell great. Next time we will try it! We will be back. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park nestled in the pines. Courteous hosts at check in which is also a decent little store for basic re-supply as well as a small restaurant and ice cream parlor. Paved main entry then gravel sites. We were away from the pond which turned out to be a good thing as there were swarms of bugs in that area; didn't seem to bother the families that were in the sites surrounding that area. Good electric, water and dump. Trash dumpster looked as if an animal had picked its way through and tossed what it didn't want; my spouse cleaned it up when taking out our trash but we noticed it just as messy upon our exit so perhaps the offender was still inside? (don't tell my wife!) Will return if we are in the area. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park about 20 miles from Lassen Volcanos NP. Easy check in but roads and spaces could be marked better. Our space was a pull thru that was fairly level with full hook ups, fire ring and picnic table. No Verizon phone service and wireless was unusable. Good for a night or two but not a destination. Would stay here again. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Really nice campground near Lassen National Park and Burney Falls. Large sites are laid out to give campers plenty of room. The park has a large pond on the premises. There are several hiking/atv/Jeep trails adjacent to the park. The managment/staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained. In a word--peaceful! There is a small store, gift shop and restaurant onsite. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Truck Camper.

A good camping experience, lots of pine trees and shade. The Park is immaculate, the owners keep the grounds in excellent condition. Gravel and dirt sites, ours was level, full hook up, picnic table, with a fire pit. Fish pond, café, small store supplies on site. Wi-Fi was limited (office area) and restrictive (password was good for 2-hours only). Cable TV had 13 channels. Bathrooms and showers were clean, individual shower stalls with curtain and dressing area. Owners are very friendly and informative. Some road noise, but quiet at night. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a Awesome park. We always stay here on r way to Oregon and on r way back. The people who work there are wonderful and the food in restaurant is good. I have read some reviews complaining about cell service and pine needles. Really? Those people should b camping in the city r just stay home. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very Rustic. Pull Thru dirt site was very unlevel. WiFi didn't work. No cell service. Electric and water were fine. Lady at check in very nice but that's where it stops. Long pine needles got on everything. Park looks decent from the road and signage on road was good. Overpriced for the price. Won't be staying here again. This is a wide open rv park. It is very easy to maneuver in the park. The park is a little run down, the sites are very random and haphazard. Some sites are very covered by trees while others are wide open. There is no Verizon service at all. WE had a problem with our motorhome and the staff was willing to lend us their land line phone to call places for help. The sites were gravel pads with grass surrounding it. Good location to visit Lassen National Park. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a really nice place to stop for the night, and we appreciated the little dining room in the reservation office, along with the supply store. The site we had was very long, nice and level, and no one was placed behind us, which could have been the case. There were trees and water near by, and it was very relaxing. No road noise. We would certainly come here again on our way back to NV. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice open park, woodsy area. Some sites were very roomy, some not so. Friendly staff, small café and store with a few staples. Town of Burney close by as well as Lassen Park, Hat Creek and a Radio Telescope site. Marginal WiFi, no cell service. Stayed a week. Will go back again next year. For a remote location this is a pretty good park. The year 2014 has been a drought season for this area of California along with wildfires. The owners have done a good job maintaining and operating the park under these harsh conditions. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.
