Nightly rate based on 6 week stay. Booked standard grass site. Roads paved and wide. Coach sits on concrete pad as does tow vehicle. Remainder of site is grass. WiFi barely acceptable, we had repeater tower beside our site. No cable here, so unable to get Time Warner installed. Showers new but not working, two pools but not working, hot tub but not working. Problems with natural gas flow in park. Very unhappy with facilities right now. Free waffle breakfast Monday to Friday, also Burger/Dog Wednesday for $5.00 and $1.00 for scoop ice cream Sunday.

Park not addressing facility problems with guests, lots of rumors, management scared that RV'rs will find out about maintenance issues here and not arrive. "Lucky them". I won't get into the muddy wet grass site that we have!! We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart neighborhood market within a mile. All other shopping about 5 miles away.

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Overall, a well kept park with plenty of space between coaches. Each space had a concrete pad and either grass or gravel, depending upon the area and price point. As this was high season for the area, there were many activities within the park. The $5.00 BBQ lunch was worth the price. Other amenities include pickleball, pool, bocce ball and 2 dog off leash runs. Since Indio is at the eastern end of the valley, a car is required to get to Palm Springs, La Quinta and other tourist areas. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Some of the must see areas include the Shields Date Farm, Palm Springs Air Museum, Outlet mall shopping, Palm Springs Tram (although it can be cold at the summit in the winter), and of course golfing at the many courses in the area. PGA West and La Quinta will test the skills of any golfer.

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our 6 week stay here very much. Great place to bring a dog. Lots of green grass and 3 dog parks. The one by the entrance is even spacious enough to play fetch with a large dog. Friendly staff and volunteers. Lots of activities including pickle ball, bocce ball, yoga, water aerobics, line dancing, ping pong, ladder golf, painting, crafts and cards. Free homemade waffles, OJ and coffee every morning M-F. WiFi did not work at our site the entire time we were here. They are "working on it" and hope to have if fixed soon. There are 2 pools and the heater for the larger one was not working during our stay. If these things are important to you then you might want to ask the status before you reserve here. Verizon hotspot worked great. No cable but all the over the air stations came in fine. Sites are spacious with concrete pads but no picnic tables. They have happy hour every Friday at the clubhouse, mostly potluck style, and was a great way to get to know other guests. There was free entertainment a couple of times during our stay and a free catered meal on Christmas Eve that was very nice. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Note that they do NOT allow early check-ins. Don't arrive before 12:30 or the gate will not be open. On site concierge was very helpful for things to do in the area. Pickle ball lessons for those who haven't played and helpful to us as newbies to the sport!

This park had tons of activities. Great paved roads for walking or riding. The sites had separate parking spots for an additional vehicle. Nice location just far enough from town.
The staff was not to welcoming because we were 1/2 hour early for check in. Only park that we had trouble coming in early even though they had plenty of open sites.
Also the hot tub was not working the whole time we were there.
Definitely would stay again though. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Empire Polo Club is a fun trip if you like horses.

We camped here several times in the spring and fall. It sure needs to have a 10 but this time during our 2 weeks stay the hot-tub and one of the pools was cold - very cold, heater broken and still under repair when we left. The other was not hot enough, so overall a disappointment because we stay in this area for all those amenities. The new bathroom building is not yet finished, they were working on it during our stay, noise and sand at the pool area. The WiFi is free but almost non existing in the park, near the office spotty. They were working on that to! So they say. Hope they will start improving there facilities. We are not sure if we will come back. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $21.00

We stayed here Sept 11 and again Sept 20. They have different lengths of sites, both concrete and gravel. Some of the sites have nice shade in the evenings, others not so much. The park was pristine both times. There is usually an answering machine where you can leave a message in lieu of talking to someone. We reached a person the first time and gave our credit card info over the phone. Last night, we registered and paid on-line and it was much more convenient. There are two casinos nearby and only minutes away from stores and restaurants. Will stay again. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Suggest requesting a site with a little more shade if staying during the summer. It was 107 when we arrived today. Even if it's a back-in, it's roomy.

We had a nice level concrete pull-thru with good functioning utilities. The park is clean, gated and looks well maintained. As this is mainly a snow-bird winter park, some of the restrooms and other facilities were closed for remodeling. There were very few people in this large park. An excellent value for a short summer stay. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If time, go to Pappy and Harriet's Place in Pioneertown, CA about 50 miles away. The one-of-kind venue of music and food transcends the ordinary. It's worth the trip.

Almost deserted in June in the desert of CA. Very large park. Office not open but they left all info we needed. A gated park with nice pool. Kids had great time. Sites were clean and they picked up the trash in the morning.Only thing I wish was different was the placement of the sewer. It was all the way to the back of the site and with a tow vehicle had to use extension on the sewer hose. Lot of work for overnight stay. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

This park has a variety of space types. I was in a back-in grass site. They also had gravel "desert" sites that were pretty popular.

I enjoyed being right next to one of the 3 water features they have on site. I was towards the back of the park.

There is a fire station near the park entrance. I heard their sirens several times during the day. I did not hear sirens at night.

I would come to this park again. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

We spent a night here on our way out of L.A. It was a wonderful RV park. In early April, the price was VERY reasonable. The hot tub was heavenly and the pool very nice and warm. We opted for a grass site and a concrete pad. The escort to the site was very much appreciated. The Resort is in town, but the road noise was not bad at all. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Good site for a one night stay en route home from winter in AZ, big pull through site with full hookup. Concrete level pad with adjacent gravel & grass. Local city traffic noises, but didn't disrupt sleep. Didn't use any of amenities or pool. Good local antenna reception & Verizon, no cable. Would stay again for a few days but unlikely for seasonal stay. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

After staying a few days in 2013 we enjoyed this park so much we booked a 5 1/2 week stay. We had a large grass site beside the fountain pools and around the corner from the clubhouse, bath house, pools, spa, pickle ball courts, bocce courts, exercise room, and laundry. There are many regular activities such as yoga, computer group, handwriting analysis, crafts, library, Wednesday burger lunches, poker nights, bingo, television, movie night, and Friday evening open house. Also, there are special events such as traveling music shows, vendor workshops, and flea markets. A weekly schedule is printed each Sunday so you know what is planned for that week. You will not be bored during your stay at Indian Waters. The only downside for this resort are the sirens each night coming from the fire hall across the street. We stayed in a travel trailer and will stay here again. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a free phone for calls in the USA and Canada. There is small store in the office for t-shirts, hats, drinks, and ice cream. Everything else is close by: groceries, hardware, rv supports and repairs, and entertainment and dining. The Riverside County Fair runs for a week each February. For model railway folks there is an HO layout set up in one of the exhibition park buildings.

This park is our favorite place to stay. It has been completely remolded over the past 3 years...new pools, pickle ball courts, bathroom, laundry, clubhouse, roads and cabins. It is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The office staff is friendly and helpful. On-site concierge service available. Activity Director has a full schedule of events. We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Palms Springs area has unlimited activities for hikers, sightseeing, nighttime entertainment, great restaurants, parks, golfing, tennis and events.
