We enjoyed our time at Delta Shores. Our spot was nice and shaded and the park was peaceful and quiet. The wifi worked great. They have a lot of amenities including a pool, tennis courts and game room. It is located on the Delta and not to far from a lot of different farms and wineries. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

There are not a lot of RV parks close to the San Francisco Bay Area, and even fewer one would actually want to stay at. This has become our favorite park at a good cost within reasonable driving proximity. The people working here at the park are very friendly and helpful. The sites are grass, sometimes with gravel, and the ground is very soft - we always sink in under our jacks, so boards are very helpful. They have a limited number of 50 A sites and the sites are fairly open, though some sites have tree obstructions for satellite reception. They do have activities most evenings and a large section of the park is dedicated to full timers. The park is safe and enjoyable and has a nice playground. The biggest con is the ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE water quality here. Your filters will clog within days, and you don't want to drink this water even if it's filtered. Beware the roads - the access road to the resort is a winding levee road for the last mile or so, and the entrance to the resort dips steeply down from there. (You wouldn't want to be here if the levee ever failed.) The highway to get here is also not always flat due to shifting Delta soil, and construction is not uncommon. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You can walk over and fish off their dock across the street. Closest store of any size is in Rio Vista, over a 10 minute drive away.

Visit the San Francisco Bay Area or wineries in the Lodi area. The Sacramento area is also only an hour away, and shopping in Lodi and Stockton is less than a half hour in many cases.

Went for Labor Day weekend - Always a fun time at Delta Shores! Lots of activities (Karaoke, Yard Sale, Water aerobics, etc...) Management at Delta Shores is very friendly and interact with campers.

Only down fall for this visit was that the women's restroom was closed for renovation - not too much of an issue since most people visiting this camp ground have RV Rigs. All in all we LOVE Delta Shores! We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

This park is located in the Delta loop recreational area, in between Lodi and Rio Vista on Hwy 12. First, Hwy 12 is a two lane FREEWAY with lots of truck traffic and virtually no shoulders. Second the road to the campground in ON the levee. It looks and felt like the road was sinking, very uneven and again, no shoulders. Speed limit is supposed to be 25 mph, but not well regulated. One one side of the levee is the water and the other side is farmland. One wrong turn either way, and you would be in a lot of trouble. The levee obviously is higher than either the water or the land, but the drop to the land is a 45 degree angle. Now imagine farmland as far as you can see...except for a chunk of land with some trees and grass plopped right in the middle of a field, and that's what this campground is. The gravel roads were in good shape, but higher than the sites (almost like a levee). The sites were a combination of grass and gravel, mostly grass though. It looked like they were trying to put more gravel down in some sites. Our site was deceptively level, but lots of ruts and holes hiding in the grass.

Overall, the facilities were clean and functional. They had activities in the clubhouse on the weekends. One thing that was more of a deterrent from coming back is the abandoned vehicles, boats, and RV's left where they sunk into the ground which were all over the campground. If it was rainy at all, we would not go - it's below sea level and in marshy farmland surrounding it. Needless to say, we couldn't see the water. There was a dock, but no boat launch in sight, so not sure how they can call it a marina. It appears it is a popular local place as it filled up a bit over the weekend. Since we neither fish nor boat, we would not likely stay here again. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for a week in our fifth wheel, nice campground. Plenty of space between campsites. Nice full hookups, 50 amp service. Gravel sites with picnic table and paved streets. Maintenance did a great job keeping everything mowed and cleaned up. Would stay here again. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

We took Hwy 12 from I-5 to get to the park. Hwy is very narrow and full of pot holes. It is very hard on ones rigs. The Park is in a field also full of pot holes and has poor lighting so parking in the dark is difficult. The park is mostly permanent residents and over nighters are limited to the first two rows. A long sketchy drive on a dike access road to park in ones field for the night. All utilities are at the back of the site and sewer connection is a foot high off the ground. The staff was friendly and courteous. Keep on going. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 4-nights. It was a busy park during the weekend because it's on the Sacramento Delta. Other than fishing and boating there isn't much to do. If you like visiting small towns, there are a lot nearby. The park has a nice pool and a mini-golf course - nothing fancy though. Sites are pretty spacious, but the sewer connections are too high! Many full-timers live at the back portion of the park. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Paved roads with large level gravel and grass sites. Most sites 30 amp, some 50 amp, all water and sewer. Many sites have no satellite signal due to very tall trees, but good shade. Behind high dirt levee from large river and marina. Sites lower than drives so can drag entering and leaving sites. Pool and activities on weekends. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for the first time and found the park to clean with plenty of grass for the dogs to run.

There are a very few 50amp sites and we were fortunate to get one.

Staff friendly and accommodating. We received UPS and mail there. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Isleton has an historic section of town. Lots of Chinese influence and good Chinese restaurant and Deli there.

Lodi is about 12 miles and has a Walmart and Costco. Rio Vista is simply over-priced.

Park is old and needs work, dirt/ gravel roads with grass sites. All back ins and perpendicular so difficult for long towables. Must be a real mess when raining. Electric was fine. Steep entrance off levee. Dock permanently closed for repairs. Probably won't stay again. Rate is C2C Premier. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Don't let the Resort part of it's name fool you. This is definitely not a resort park. The entrance into the park is really steep but doable. The sites are mainly grass and most are a foot lower than the roads, so if it rains plan on staying until things dry out. The sites really need to be graveled. The grassy area had so many holes in it you could easily twist your ankle if not careful. Add to that my EMS keep shutting down the power cause the electrical was putting out over 130 volts on our 50 amp site. Tried plugging into the 30 amp in the site beside us and had the same problem. The staff is friendly and the site sizes we're decent. We definitely would not come back. The price was for C2C with a $5 surcharge. (Even at $15 it was to high priced). Also, they should not have Marina in the name either as their docks are so old and worn out they won't let anyone on them anymore. The park has potential to be a good park, but it will take a lot of work. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

OK place. Watch out for the entrance there is a steep drop. A little worn down; showers are old but cleaned daily. Ask for the spa to be heated; the pool is cold. Friendly staff, good meeting room and kitchen. Price shown is RPI rate. Delta Loop is beautiful, Isleton is quaint. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

This is a nice private park with adequate facilities, including a few 50amp sites ($3/night extra) but mostly 30 AMP. Power is strong here. The park is kept clean and mowed. The sites are mostly grass/gravel and can be pretty soggy after rains. It is next to the lower Mokelumne River in the Sacramento Delta. The RV park sits several feet below the river protected by the levees. They have a fishing dock and small boat marina but no place associated with the park to put your boat in. The staff is friendly and the general area is mostly farmlands, water (surrounded by 3 rivers), and mostly older (many run-down) tourist businesses. Rio Vista is nearest "real town" about 8 miles away to the west, but it is pretty small. (It has a great Mexican restaurant, though.) A much bigger town is Lodi, about 20 miles to the east. We stay here yearly and plan to return as long as we can each winter. We stayed using our ROD membership. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

Very friendy and helpful staff. Very clean park and they were keeping up with the landscaping right along. Pool was in good shape however the spa wasn't. Campsites were shaded but set so that satellite reception was no problem. Will stay again. Price paid was due to ROD membership We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

I have stayed on the Delta many times and of all the campgrounds I've stayed at on the Delta, this was by far the cleanest campground I've seen. Everything was centrally located for our family to use including a state of the art clubhouse with the best $5 breakfast I've ever eaten. They had a country & western band that was great. They have a pool and spa and a miniature golf course that my kids were crazy about. There were always activities going on. They even had a bonfire. The staff was friendly, the park was clean, the bathrooms and showers were so clean you could have eaten off the floors. we are definitely coming back.
