This campground is first-come-first-serve. If you are tent camping don't go to the bluff, my friends moved their tent twice because of the wind. My husband, my 2 dogs and I were in a cab-over camper and didn't have the ocean bluff view. Family and fishing campground, people were pretty respectful and quiet. If you are in a trailer or camper, the bluff closer to the ocean is great. If you are in a tent, it will be too windy for you. Site was clean. Freshly mowed and semi-spacious between camps. There are showers, although we didn't use them, fish cleaning station, boat ramp (but it looks dodgy without a truck or 4 wheel drive). Every site has a picnic table and fire ring, there are many port-o-potties and some running water but no electrical hook ups. No WiFi PERIOD unless you take the small hike past the fenced area of Stillwater Cove Park, and walk for appx. 7-10 minutes. The walk, either through the trees or along the ocean path, IS BEAUTIFUL. Many ocean views and tree canopies. We have 2 dogs and were able to walk them there for their potty breaks. You can walk to both the general store and restaurant. The store has basic necessities. kindling, wood, Benedryl, beer, coffee etc. You can walk to the restaurant but be careful, it's a dodgy walk. Food at the restaurant - stick to basics, we had burgers and fish/chips. We camped at Ocean Cove Campground in a Truck Camper.

Was going to take our 5th wheel, decided on a tent, Memorial Day weekend and the park does not take reservations. Arrived on Thursday, found two vacant sites with a fire pit and a table. It cost $27.00 per night per vehicle, so our small group took the two sites. A large loosely knit group was in the park, they parked where ever they could squeeze in between a site, to be fair they were not exclusive, just more of them. People came in and the full sign meant nothing, if a tent or RV could squeeze in, it was ok, camp site or not. The sites are not numbered, the only thing the park staff was concerned about was the nightly vehicle fee. Way too many campers for the facilities provided. I did not use the showers, price $2.00 (unknown time) and the only restroom facilities were port a potties which were emptied and cleaned every day. The problem was they were half full and dirty in short order, the two rolls of toilet paper were gone in a couple of hours and were not replaced. A truck did come around to empty holding tanks, I do not know the price. A holiday weekend is always busy but "full" should mean "full" but the staff did nothing to stop people from coming in and setting camp where ever they could squeeze in. The crowded conditions were really not that bad because it was Memorial Day Weekend and the place was relatively quiet, but the port a potties were an unpleasant experience. The $27.00 per vehicle per night seemed to be the only concern 0f the staff, anyway I will not be returning. We camped at Ocean Cove Campground in a Tent.

Overall Rating:

Great campsite overlooking the ocean. Whales right off shore and close enough for photos. Tons of wildlife and fishing. It has a nice store with all the essentials and friendly staff. It can get a little windy on the point but calmer back in the trees. We stayed in a trailer and we're very comfortable. No hookups but the location and views make up for it.

We'll be back for sure. We camped at Ocean Cove Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The ocean view here is fantastic, but be aware of how windy it can be. This is more of a campground than an RV park, so don't expect your site to be flat or level. The restroom was a porta potty, so non-flushing. Fortunately it was clean. Sites have no hookups; there are spigots near the potties to fill your water tank. There is no cell phone service in the area, but you can make a phone call from the office for $1. There is no Wi-Fi service. If you enjoy a pretty view and don't mind roughing it for $24 a night, this is a good spot. We camped at Ocean Cove Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a completely no frills campground except for one thing. You can camp right on the ocean with amazing views. I don't know how many sites there are -- they are on 20 acres. They have tables and fire rings at each site. There are porta-potties located throughout the campground. They have a boat launch as well. You can also do day use as well as long term stays. The hosts are very polite and welcoming. We will be glad to come back here again. We camped at Ocean Cove Campground in a Motorhome.
