Quiet, basic campsite. Located in the woods, but close to the I-5 (traffic can be heard a bit). Large sites with table and BBQ pit. Many facilities for younger guests, like swimming pool, biljart, table tennis, volleyball, etc. All is operational, but badly in need of maintenance, including the restrooms and showers. Friendly owners. Good Wi-Fi. Relatively expensive. We camped at Lakehead Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice but rough park. Lack of 50 A service was a bit of surprise though. Good Wi-Fi and great very refreshing and clean pool. Walk/bike to lake. We were in a 36 ft motor home and egress was tight but doable. Very large site and well sited with good privacy. Nice and quiet as well. Owner/managers are great people: friendly and very helpful. We camped at Lakehead Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very rough park, but then we were here in off season. Lots of full time guests, and pretty rough set ups. Did have good access to an area that we could run the dogs, but not as part of the RV park. Pretty tight internal road for big rigs, but manager helped us get around the trees and to our site. We camped at Lakehead Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a nice park! We only stayed overnight but it is definitely on our list for a longer stay next year! We arrived after dark and it was a little difficult to find our site but the friendly owner/manager walked down to make sure we got parked OK. The roads are on the narrow side and some of the trees are a little close but are easily maneuverable - just take it slow. Sites are spacious and have picnic tables, fire pits and BBQ pits. The area is wooded and peaceful and full of wildlife - deer are frequent visitors. There are trains but we didn't hear any horns and barely noticed the track noise. We were at the very back of the park and could not see the Wi-Fi at all but our Verizon phones had full bars. There are some long-term residents but the park and all sites are well kept. A great value and right off the I-5. We camped at Lakehead Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great find! We were just passing through and only planned to stay one night but extended our stay to three after seeing how nice it was. The spots are very large and come with a picnic table, fire pit and outdoor barbeque in addition to the usual hookups. The grounds are very well kept and garbage free. The campground is close to I-5 but we honestly didn't hear it at all once inside the trailer and only the sound of the occasional train kept us from believing that we were in the middle of the woods. The free Wi-Fi was a little spotty as was the cell phone service but not a real problem. We plan to stay here every time we pass through the area. We camped at Lakehead Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
