The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground is right next to the I-5 and you could hear it a little bit, not too loud tho. The pool and spa was nice and clean.

WiFi was only available near the office, and didn't work at all. In my opinion a no-go in 2016.

We were surprised about the cleanness of the showers and bathroom. You don't see that too often.

Overall a good campground when traveling through, I wouldn't recommend it for multiple nights tho. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice Park. Plenty of space between. Some trees. No grass. Just dirt between lots but nice cement pull through spaces long enough for toad. Cable worked well. Wifi was no existent in E29. They pick up trash right outside your door every day at 10am. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

If you don't want to unhook Carl's Jr is within walking distance. Others, like Arby's and Denny's are within walking distance also but you have to cross a busy road.

New park, relatively large. It's a desert setting, so trees are sparse and very small (no privacy between sites). Sites were paved and level, easy to navigate. Facilities (showers and baths) were excellent. WiFi was spotty and slow. Easy on-and-off I-5. Good for overnight stay. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Easy off the highway and great spacing for an RV park. Beautiful pool and hot tub and super clean restroom, laundry & showers. Although I did have a peeping frog in the shower one morning ????. They have the park segregated into long term, mid term and short term areas with restrooms and laundry in each area. Be aware if you are doing laundry you must get a laundry card from the front desk for a $5 deposit that is refunded once you returned it. The $5 is not used on machines, just strictly deposit. They do refund any unused money left on the card. Super restraurant at the Michael-David winery less than a mile away. Would definitely stay here again! We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here at Flag City several times. Each time we stay we notice the place deteriorating more. The areas adjacent to the RV has been sprayed in most areas to kill vegetation. However the weeds and stickers still thrive. Even the gazanias are almost gone. The picnic tables are old and dangerous to sit on. If you sit on one side it will tip over. They list about 48 stations on their TV channel guide, but they actually only get the first half on that list. We couldn't even get normal ABC, NBC or CBS. It was the same problem for our friends a few sites away. Many of the ones we did get were too fuzzy to watch. The staff was friendly and facility was pretty clean. Seems like no money spent for repairs or updates or maintenance. Sites are pretty narrow since the grass/flower area adjacent to the RV was unusable because of dirt, dead weeds and stickers. For a single overnight stay, it's doable, but not real pleasant. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This one of those "big parking lot" parks, not much in the way of shade trees, but plenty of room at concrete pad sites. Modern, clean facilities. Swimming pool and spa pool were a treat at the end of a 100+ degree day. Had some problem with shore power, but the staff got right on it and had the power problem fixed within 30 minutes. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is not really in Lodi. It is just off I-5 (could hear the traffic, but not a serious problem) and about 5 miles from downtown. There was some construction of the road to Lodi, but not a problem in the evenings. We enjoyed our one night stay here.

Easy off and on I 5. The area is a truck stop location with a variety of franchisees. The park has modern facilities and is big rig friendly with paved roads and concrete pads just wide enough for rigs. We were here when the park was new, and the landscaping has deteriorated. Be careful at the registration building; the canopy is less than 14 feet. There is road space to the side. Staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived near closing time, but they got us situated with no problem even though it was a holiday week end. We got three nights for the price of two. Cable TV had some channels missing. We could not watch the Warriors. The park is very near to the broadcast antennae for the Sacramento area so over the air TV is easily available. We will stay here again. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We booked here because it's a Passport America park. Very good value. Nicer newer park although once I handed my PA pass that's when I think they put me in an end spot. Tip: get spot selected, then show your pass. We thought we were close enough to San Francisco? Wrong! it took us 2 hours to get there, over 2.5 hours with rush hour. If you're going up and down I5 to stop for San Francisco find something closer :) We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Great choice on trips along I5. Close to highway but not too noisy. Well laid out, mostly pull throughs and level sites. Good laundry facilities and propane on-site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Local wines in park store! We stay here each way on winter trips, and will again. There is grass at sites, but it is patchy and very poorly kept. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here once before. It was certainly worth the 50% discount through Passport America. This is a nice, clean, well-run park.

My only complaint is that they still haven't fixed their wifi. I had to walk to the office from our campsite (which was within view) to connect my iPad to the network. It disconnected by the time I walked back, and while I was able to connect to the network again, it never worked. Considering that this park charges at the high end of usual rates for th area, I'm surprised that they still haven't fixed their wifi problem. It's not a luxury anymore. Though it's been awhile since we stayed at this park, things haven't changed much. It is still a very nice place to stop on our north/south travels. Level, long concrete pads are a plus, but hook-ups are located towards the very rear of the site. We have to park the dinghy in front of the coach to access them. The poor choice of groundcover between the sites is not intended to be walked on and usually looks pretty bad. With CA's drought conditions it hasn't been watered and looks even worse. This park would really sparkle if they used artificial turf. Passport America is honored at the times we usually visit. Lots of fast food choices at the truck stop complex nearby. All services a little further east in Lodi. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.
