Typical parking lot type park. Large flat area with a few trees and gravel roads with pull-through sites in between. Decent space between sites, probably about 12 feet of lawn. Sites were also pretty short, just barely enough room for my 36 foot Class A and the car. Don't know if there were longer sites or not. Park was clean. Decent cable TV and good hookups. Didn't use the restrooms. - thyde

We stayed here overnight on our drive from Oregon to San Diego. It was a typical KOA, all dirt, close together, and no shade. It was 108 when we arrived an there were warnings about the 50 amp service. The campground was fairly empty but the pool was crowded with families trying to cool off. We were lucky enough to have one of the spots that had a little bit of shade. - Melfisonthemove

Long term renters in back. Low voltage. Not one of the RARE dates an ac is not needed, so we ran gen as needed. If my EMS trips more than once, the power is inadequate...Only for an overnight, and only if you do not need reliable power. - Dp26
Oct 2017 - $36.00
This is an older park with shorter facing spaces. They will apparently let guests use both spaces for one price (my experience, may differ if they're busy). My 37 foot coach barely fit in the space, 40 footers will stick out one end or the other. Park was clean, traffic noise was noticeable but not annoying. - Dave from Indy

We stay overnight at Santa Nella R V Park after racing at Laguna Seca. With every visit, there are improvements. They have redone the bathrooms and hey are immaculate and modern, especially compared to what was there. They have gotten rid of a whole row of Junker R V's. this visit I noticed many new plants and everything is cleaner than our last visit. And In and Out Burger is just across he street and extra easy access to Hwy 5.... We will be back next year and what more in the way of improvements that have done... - SSM 46
Jul 2017 - $32.00
Convenient location, right off I-5 but far enough away so no noise. Manager was very helpful. Pull through means you park diagonal across two sites but it worked. Fast food walk able (don't try to cross road, go to intersection). - CruiserGary
Jul 2015 - $35.00
We camped for 2 nights. Very few camp sites have shade, else its very sunny. Summer may not be good time since the grass is all dried. The site have coin showers which are maintained good. Lot of place to hike and have water sports activity available in couple of miles. This site gives a stunning view of galaxy in night. - Abhi
Dec 2010 - $40.00
Best time to visit is in the off-season. This is our second visit on our way back home. We stayed two nights and spent the day visiting the San Luis Wildlife Refuge (worth the trip if you like to see big birds in wetland habitats). We had the whole campground to ourselves with a view of the O'Neil Forebay and rolling bucolic hills. Camp host was very pleasant and told us that nights had been cold. Said they didn't have much wind this year which is unusual. The campground is very well paved as are the pads which come with concrete curbs for the rig and nice spot for your tow right next to it. Nice grassy areas and beautiful mid-size, bushy pines here and there. Our rig is 31 feet and the parking spaces could actually fit a larger rig (backed in) without sticking into the camp roadway. We had lunch at the Andersen's Pea Soup Restaurant (the one with the big windmill seen from I-5) in Santa Nella. Excellent food especially if you want "real" instead of "fast" food. There's a pretty big gift shop in the front and a full bar in room off the main dining room. We will definitely return to this campground especially during the off-season. - Sebastiantgoodbear
May 2009 - $25.00
We camped there on memorial day weekend and didn't enjoy ourselves at all. None of the locks on the bathroom doors worked, which lead up to myself being walked in on by other people. Unfortunately, the wind was blowing so hard that the lake was shut down to all boat traffic. That seems to happen very frequently in this park. We ended up leaving a day early because it was a very noisy place. - aalgaards

Spent a month here, as this was our only option while visiting family. This "not a resort" is situated in the armpit of California. It STINKS of onions and garlic and nasty smells emanating from the Merced filthy drainage ditch ( not a river on this property.) Our site A6 was so small and on the corner where everyone drive in and out of the park, we asked to be moved and were told they could not move us. THEN...we started noticing the ladybugs in the camper..10 to 30 a day. Yuck, kept killing them, and there were always more. On the day we left, we pulled the slides in and there were THOUSANDS of ladybugs living in the slides!!!!! OMG, they were everywhere. We spent hours getting rid of them, and it is now 10 days later, and THEY ARE STILL ALL OVER THE RV!!! We told the owners, their response...oh, it is the tree on the site, it attracts them. No offer to help clean it up, or help with the situation. Hello, if you knew that, why did you not take care of this. I cannot even tolerate my RV anymore as those damn bugs keep on coming out of the woodwork, no matter what we tried. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. - Kbrez
Nov 2016 - $28.00
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice shady site. Cable TV didn't even match the guide and Wi-Fi was very spotty.......forget it!! - Dennis H
Sep 2016 - $35.00
I have stayed at this park both as a short stay and now as a long term/month to month.
I loved it as a short stay. The short stay area is towards the front of the park and has easy access to the play field, dog park, showers and restrooms. It is also where many of the pull through sites are located. I did not use the wifi or cable so cannot speak to them.
They are very good at getting folks to keep their dogs on leash which I greatly appreciate! They are also very accepting and welcoming to my 2 Rottweilers who are very trained and well mannered.
As a month to month, less happy so far. Even though I told them I needed a pull through and wanted a shaded spot when I returned in 3 months, I was assigned a back in, full sun spot at the very rear of the park, as far from the amenities I use as I can be in the most well lit area of the park, making it very difficult to sleep at night. I have been here for 2 weeks and promises to find a better spot for me have been for naught. - RottsNScotts
