This park is located on a hills right off PCH. amazing views of the ocean from the park. The beach is a bit hard to walk to - had to walk down PCH a few blocks, then cross the street. Everyone who stayed here was so friendly. We had an amazing time. Pretty good cell reception (Verizon). Awesome seafood place next door (Malibu Seafood). We will definitely stay here many more times. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We came out to this park while touring LA. Upon arrival at the park office I asked them if we could tour the park. After dealing with three employees who basically said "We are busy and don't have time to conduct tours" to which I said we just wanted to see the sites etc. There was a discussion by the employees and it was decided we could see the sites. Then it was made known we couldn't enter any sites or photograph any sites, RV's or campers. Photograph? These people may be living in the back yard of the rich and famous but believe me, there is NOTHING worth going on this park for! Electrical is very old. Sockets are burnt and loose. Plumbing is ancient and poor. Most sewer hoses running uphill as they are placed in poor locations to the site. For $80 a night with poor electrical, plumbing, facilities and small sites along with the employees attitudes, SAVE YOUR MONEY and MOVE ON! If the view is important to you, this place delivers! We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We spent 3 nights here in a back in mountain site. The ocean view sites have a great view but a very steep drop off not advisable for toddlers. We have a 36' Motorhome and we barely fit in the site (our bumper was touching the wood wall and we still stuck out on the street a little). At check in you get a 3 minute dissertation on all the campground rules. Which is ironic because the one thing they never discuss or enforce is the speed at which people travel tru the campground. People drive way to fast and the managers seem to be ok with it. But god forbid your child brings their scooter. No scoters allowed in the park and that is strictly enforced. Sites are very uneven and fairly close together. Our front tires were a good 6-8" off the ground. We were not able to connect to the WiFi. This is definitely not a destination campground. Most people just use it as a overnight stop as they are traveling the coast and I can see why. From Santa Monica to the campground PCH it is fairly tight but manageable if you take your time. Sadly we will not be back to this one. There are other options in the LA area that are worth the extra drive. There are a good amount of permanent (seasonal) rigs most are well kept. The Pro's the view from the campground is awesome and the seafood restaurant below the campground is very good. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a nice shopping center a few miles from the campground with a Ralph's Starbucks post office and CVS Lots of food options available on PCH Paradise Cove Restaurant was a fun place to eat on right on the beach. Casual and good for kids.

Stayed for 10 nights and had a great time. Our 40 foot motorhome was in a large site on the upper tier with great views and lots of room and privacy. Staff were all great and store is well stocked. Walk to Solctice Canyon State park with great trails and waterfalls. Beach is across busy PCH but we just hopped in Jeep and drove to Zuma only 10 minutes. Great fish restruant only a short walk from park. Will be coming back often. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

I love this park. It's a little expensive for ocean view sites but the view are impossible to beat almost anywhere in the world. My site was technically a mountain view but I could still see the ocean from my dinette and I paid 280 for a week of partial hookup with free dump at the end of stay. Management was fantastic. Front desk staff were wonderful, neighbors were delightful. Plenty to do in the area with Malibu Seafood, a gas Mart and the magnificent beach all in walking distance. Quiet hours enforced! Will return for sure. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We are in a 45 foot motorhome and were worried about getting into our site based on the reviews. It was actually pretty easy and we fit our Jeep in the site with us. The views we had were stunning. We had no issues with the utilities, everything worked fine. When we pulled up to check-in a woman came out and walked up to our rig and said "Welcome to Malibu Beach RV Park", let me check you in. That was the most impressive first impression I've ever experienced camping! We saw whales and dolphin from our campsite. The PCH road noise on the week-end was something to consider, but we were out and about most of the time. The park is very dog friendly with trails and bags everywhere. The bathhouse is recently renovated and really nice. They do need more washers and dryers though as our site didn't have sewer. We would definitely return! This is an older park, but quite nice. Because of ocean, lots are smaller, but they have some larger. I would suggest staying at an upper site as the view is better than the first row and you are a bit further away from the highway below and get sun longer. Sites are sand so bring a mat to sit on and keep sand out of your RV. Internet was weak, but OK if you sat outside. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

It's expensive. It's LA on Pacific Coast Highway. Be prepared. You won't find another park this nice in the area. PS Also has a great dog run with ocean view. Staff couldn't be nicer.

It's probably the most expensive park I've ever stayed, but I will be back because it offers THE greatest views around overlooking the Pacific on some of the most costly real estate in the USA. WiFi was hit or miss.

It's not EZ to get a big rig in and out of some of these spots but once you do, your being offered some of the greatest WOW moments.

Beware, Pacific Coast Highway traffic can be awful. It took me about an hour to get from Santa Monica pier area to Malibu Beach on a Sunday afternoon. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for one night. It was not an oceanfront site, but the cost with taxes was $140 a night. We loved the restaurant that we could walk to and also found a path to the beach that went under the highway. It was a beautiful area, but we felt it was overpriced. We stayed two nights in an ocean view spot. Our site had a great view of the ocean, but was a bit tricky to back into. Fortunately the adjacent sites were empty at the time. It was easier to level our rig this time, last stay put our wheels off the ground. This was our second stay here, so we definitely like the location. Previous reviews mention the office staff can be rude. Well, it does depend on who you interact with in the office. Most of the folks were great! We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

It is a nice RV park, but that's all and that does not justify the high price. Staff is friendly, although 2 minutes after check-out time they already knocked our door. All our slides were already in, all connections already put away. So it showed we were about to leave.

The store does have your basic needs if you run short in your chiller and if you spend more per night you will have a great sea view.

This RV is NOT at the beach, the CA-1 runs in between. When you leave you cannot exit the park going to Santa Monica, so it takes miles before you can turn. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with some great views of the Ocean, however a bit pricey for what is available. Very clean and the services (water, electric, sewer) easy to use and convenient. Hosts were very nice and helpful, people friendly enough and lots to do in Malibu, plus you have the Ocean. The first site we had #24 was not very level and we had a rather difficult time getting into it. They moved us to P6 which was a pull thru and that was nice. Sites 18, 17 ,16, 15 ,20, 30, C, D, E ,are nice sites, Sea Food resturant right below the campground is GREAT. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have a 32' RV. We stayed here for 6 nights and got a fair weekly rate. It was a great deal because we were there off-peak. Had water and electric only, sewage would have been nice for the full time but the only full hook ups available were the water view sites ($90/night). Not worth it. We liked our mountain view site better than the water views on the edge. We were more protected from the wind and right next to the shower house, so the wifi worked really well for us. Windy mostly during the day (typical ocean breezes), at night pretty calm. Our site was a little small for our trailer but we worked it out. At one point we put up a canopy that went off of our designated area. Mgmt was nice and didn't say anything mid-week. On the weekend, they very very nicely asked us to take it down as it was in a public walkway. No big deal. We understood and appreciated how nice they were about it in general. Site was basic, picnic table a BBQ, no fire pit, gravel. No fires were allowed but the grill stands are positioned so you are cooking and looking out at the ocean below. Park had beautiful views all around and was and ideal location for the Malibu area. Everyone was nice. The bathrooms are a little old but reasonably clean. We loved it here and hope to stay here again. Okay to not pay top dollar for the water view sites. The "mountain view" sites still face the water with water views and get less wind. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here in a tent. The tent section is walk-in and there is no electricity or water at the sites--only at the bathhouse. The sites are relatively flat but are made of a very thin layer of crushed rock/dirt and so are very hard. You will definitely want to bring a thick pad or an air mattress. The view from the tent sites is absolutely stunning, and is the only reason we paid so much to camp here. It was very over-priced for the amenities provided.
