This is a nice park. Almost all sites are lawns that are well taken care of. We arrived July 3rd, so the campground was very full. Restroom maintenance was stretched to the max, unfortunately the maintenance did not get a lot better after 3/4 of the sites were empty. We had an issue when we pitched a tent for our 17 year old grandson, the next morning the campground host came by and told us to take down the tent. We asked why and she told us it was against the park rules. We had researched this campground through this site, their web page and Good Sam, at no point did we get the impression tents were not allowed on our site. When we asked the host about this, she said "Well, I guess we have to write EVERYTHING down". This did disrupt out trip. The sites are very tight. Water pressure in the men's shower was very low all four days. It is quiet at night and most of the day. The tent issue and narrow sites were the main drawbacks. This is a pretty campground. We may be back. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very strange campground. It was in a beautiful location but the sites were placed very oddly and close together. All the sites were grassy. Our particular site was a back in with the hook-ups on the wrong side. The sewer was located just outside our front door of our 5th wheel so we didn't hook it up until just before leaving to dump. The campground is handy to Shasta City and has views of Mt. Shasta. The staff was less than helpful. Bathrooms were OK. We were here 4 nights. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The setting is terrific, lots of towering pines, hanging flower pots, small creek, and lots of grass. We found the staff helpful, they moved us to a site we preferred over the one assigned. This is not always possible with lots of weekend guests booked in. Sites very in size, some better then others in terms of size. Wi-Fi seemed weak, but we did not try too hard, pulled out our on hot spot for service. Great view of Mt. Shasta, and walk to town is pretty easy. Hwy. 89 is right next to the park, so road traffic can be a problem. But I love sitting under the trees so we keep coming back. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was a last minute stay. Just spent one night and LOVED it. Beautifully maintained park. Lots of grass and tall trees. Will absolutely stay here again!

Office staff seemed a little confused. When I called from about 20 miles away, was told there were no sites left that would accommodate my 43' MH. Was driving by about 1/2 hour later and thought it was a different RV park because of the sign on the highway. Called and talked to a different lady. This time was told they had room for me. Went back to them and got my spot ! So glad we stayed here. Even though the place was packed for an Elk Lodge camp out, had a great time and enjoyed all the friendly folks!! We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall good for our one night stay. Only issue was that we were assigned a non shaded site. It was a hot day, and no one was servicing the office when we checked in, and we didn't want to wait. Otherwise we would have requested a different site. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice looking park with grass and big trees. Some of the sites (#11) are very close to each other, which made us very uncomfortable. The next day the friendly staff had us look over the available sites in the park and we moved. Much better location (#125). We didn't buy an RV to sit on top of someone else, we bought it to get away to nature and enjoy the quiet. We had a back-in with EWS. We may return. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Motorhome.

WOW!! What a beautiful place!! There is not a better place in California to take a family. This park is amazing. The bathroom and showers are clean and centrally located in the park. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a family park to make great memories. We have been coming here for years and the new owners are doing a wonderful job with the place. The park is located close to lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and hiking. There is wifi and a laundry room on site, several trees and beautiful green grass throughout the park with a small stream running right through the middle. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The website and RV Park Reviews says the name of the park is McCloud RV Resort. The sign from the road says Dance Country RV Park. Poor WiFi from our site. The rare times we were able to connect and get an indication of Internet access, the WiFi connection would disconnect after a few seconds. We were never able to connect long enough to download a web page. The office was often closed during business hours. We were right beside the highway with lots of logging trucks coming by using their jake brakes. We needed 50 amp service, so our site was a premium pull-thru at $43.50. The campground voltage dropped to 107v during several hot afternoons. I made sure this problem was not in my RV by shutting off all major appliances and measuring the voltage. Sunday afternoon, when a lot of campers had departed, the voltage was 113v. Attractive landscaping. Lots of green grass, well maintained. Stately trees. Hanging baskets of flowers throughout the park. These are nice touches but, at $43.50 a day, fast, reliable WiFi and good power are more important to me. If and when the owner solves the WiFi problem and provides reliable access to all sites, I would raise the rating by one point. I would also raise it a point if the power did not drop so low. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very beautiful, well maintained park. It was like camping in a city park. The park has water running through it and two nice ponds. The new owners are making many improvements. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. We loved parking on the grass because it was so clean. There are flower baskets throughout the park. This is a park that you could stay for weeks. It is a beautiful area with lots of outdoor activities. We plan on coming back with our RV group. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Motorhome.

It is a very nice park. We stayed there over Memorial Day and it was holiday rates. The rate is usually around $43. The parks is very well maintained and easy to navigate a big rig into. We have stayed there several times and have never had a bad experience. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park with some beautiful grassy and shady sites. Too bad there is so much highway noise. The truckers think it's fun to use their jake brakes coming into McCloud and it goes on most of the night and day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This park is under new ownership since the beginning of this year and they are making a concerted effort to make this a great park although there is still some updating and maintenance to be done. Gorgeously grassy and roomy sites that were level enough are the best features we enjoyed on our one-night stopover here. The host was busy and just showed us to our site and took our money, leaving us to discover anything else for ourselves. For the price, I think we'd elect to travel a little farther down the highway, but otherwise it seemed like a great place, with a nice dog walking area. This is a nice park with welcomed shade on a hot afternoon. Our 50 amp space was relatively level, grass, but a bit on the wet side. We put down jack pads and had no problem with leveling. Host was very friendly, helpful with directions, and a pleasure to check in with. Some sites are a bit close, but we had plenty of room for all four slides and a nice seating area. We will stay here again. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is under new management and it shows. The access roads are paved and in good condition. We stayed in site 15 which is a concrete pad, it was level and had gravel as well as grass on both sides. The park has trees that shade many sites but for those sites in the sun there are trees close by that provide shade to sit under. The bath rooms were old, but clean. We will be returning to this park. We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park is beautiful, but the spaces are small and way too close together. The sprinklers seem to run all day in different areas leaving flooded areas. When you pull in, your site may be full of puddles. They were also burning debris and the wind brought the smoke into our rigs. The operations - people need to plan a little better and consider their guests. Otherwise, I would give the park a "10". We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Motorhome.
