This is a first come first serve campground, just outside of Monterey. It has a very forest like feel, with trees and bushes. Our site was fairly level and spacious. There were lockers outside of the shower/bath house, and it seemed to us that others who were not campground guests used these facilities. They were loud, impolite and sloppy. We camped at Veteran's Memorial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Real nice small, no hookup campground. Some sites not level. Narrow roads going in. Great location but not really walkable to tourist attractions. One of those little gems of a county or city camp ground that you sometimes run into. Good showers and a dump station. We camped at Veteran's Memorial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent CG. However, check the parks website before taking a big rig up there as the parking would be tight (21' max?). Also, the road to CG is narrow and windy. I would stay here again. We camped at Veteran's Memorial Park in a Truck Camper.

Very nice park, though it's a bit of a climb up a steep windy road. Campsites are along a scenic wooded hillside. Reasonable rate for pricey Monterey. Restrooms are rather skimpy for number of campsites. Only one toilet in men room, for example. Very quiet the night we were there. Recommended! We camped at Veteran's Memorial Park in a Motorhome.

There are no hookups, but there are nice wide back-ins available and a dump station with fresh water. There are 30 RV sites and 10 tent sites. The facilities (restrooms and showers) were older, but clean. It has a wonderful view of the bay, and it's only a few miles from the aquarium and cannery row; very convenient! Staff is very nice. You can use a generator (we have a home-made system on the back of our travel trailer). Just remember to be courteous and obey the quiet hours. We camped at Veteran's Memorial Park in a Travel Trailer.
