This is primarily a residential RV park, with just a few spaces for transients. The space we were in didn't have sewer. They provided a free honey wagon service, but that still meant the day we left we either had to stop by the dump station or carry one day's worth of grey water with us (what we chose to do to conserve time instead). Same price, I think, as a space with sewer...?? It's a pretty park, more out in the country, and with a nice creek walk adjoining the campground (beware of little patches of poison oak in some spots on the sides of the path, often blending in with the wild berry bushes...!). However, we probably wouldn't stay there again. Mostly because, as it is right now, this is NOT a pet-friendly place. No pets are allowed on any of the various grass patches or fields. They are allowed on the creek path, but it is far enough away to be inconvenient for quick potty outings (like at bedtime). From talking to a resident, I understand the reason for this is past bad pet owners, leaving dog piles that kids ended up playing in! That is awful and incomprehensible to us responsible, common sense/decency pet owners! And of course we end up paying the price for their bad behaviors!! The wifi was not so great, kept getting dropped. So it's a pretty nice place with nice people so I don't want to rate it badly, but we won't be back as our animals are a fundamental part of our family life, and this place does not currently accommodate them. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very quiet and well kept with mature planting between large sites. Very helpful staff. Only slight negatives are WIFI is a bit hit and miss, and there are no fire pits, and only a couple of sites with BBQs. Overall very good. Best to book in advance as mainly a residential site with limited overnight sites available. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Only an hour from Monteray or Cruise America base in Fremont.

This is a private campground, thus the price. I'd love to give this campground a higher rating solely based on its location...nestled at the base of Uvas mountain, right in the middle of wine country. But...
-Our site was long and narrow. The only place it was kind of level was in front of the public dump station. Since it is all gravel, it should be fairly easy to level.
-It is a shame that this campground is 90-95% permanent or seasonal sites, so if you want in, make sure to call well in advance for reservations.
-Wi-Fi is free and signal is strong, but there is virtually no speed except maybe at 3 a.m.

-Main road in has a lot of potholes, and the outside of the buildings need to be spruced up with a bit of dusting and paint.
-Laundry room was so narrow, you can't walk past a machine with the doors open. It was mostly clean, just don't drop any clothing on the floor.
-Trash bins were overflowing and not emptied the entire time we were there (total of 12 days).

Despite all the cons, we would stay here again just because of it's location. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground is about 15 mins to downtown Morgan Hills, cute little city. The wine trail also right at the campground doorstep.

Mostly full time residents, park is clean and quiet. Removed from hwy, nice location on Uvas Creek with walking trail. Sites are very close together, and wifi was almost non-existant despite being parked directly beneath the tower. Good satellite and cell phone service, no cable tv. Only site available for our stay was water/electric only, but honeywagon available on call. Propane available. We enjoyed this park and would consider staying again despite the high price which is typical for the area. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice walking trail along the creek, pick up stations provided for cleaning up after pets.

We decided to try a different campground out in Morgan Hill this year. Needing some work done on the rig, and a place to stay for a few day, and not "crazy" about Maple Leaf Park, we thought we would check this place out. It is a bit more "country" and our space was sure a whole lot bigger (#17)! No cable, but the WiFi signal was good. It was quiet and the staff (Nancy) was a sweetheart. The park-like setting would be a lot nicer in warmer weather, but in late Dec/early Jan it was pretty cold! We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Morgan Hill is a quaint little town with wonderful restaurants and cute shops. It's about 45 min. from San Jose, depending on the traffic. Whenever we need work done on our RV, we go to Leale's in San Jose, they are the very best, then we stay in Morgan Hill. Worth the drive!

Uvas Pines is a little gem! Small, shady, green, intimate, quiet, restful and friendly- next to year-round creek. Good value, decent wifi at all sites, almost all on sewer [and if not free honey wagon], very helpful and responsive at office, and excellent washing machines that work. ~80-85 % long-termers carefully chosen for sociability and thoughtfulness to others. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is very beautiful, wooded and tranquil.

However, it is very small. The staff was very pleasant but did not provide any information unless I asked.

This RV Park was made up of 98% fulltime residents. All very quiet and cordial.

The only dumpster is located near the front of the park. Not a far walk but further than most parks.

The sewer hook up is located towards the front of every site while the electric and water is located near the rear of the sites. Bring extensions.

The park is located in the middle of the Santa Clara County Wine Trail which lends itself to access to some phenominal wineries.

All can be reached by driving a short distance.

Sites have no picnic table or fire ring. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

At least 24 different wineries within a short drive.

Gilroy. The garlic capital of the world is a short 11 miles away.

This park is a bit out in the country with some winding roads getting to the park. The positive side of that is that is very quiet and wonderfully dark. There are only a few RV spaces for over-nighters, so it is definitely advisable to make reservations. As noted, there are a lot of long term residents but that is not a problem; they were all quiet and respectful. There are a few sites that will get satellite. Our Verizon phone and data card worked well. The park has a very nice feel with a large green space and sites well-spaced. The manager was very efficient in getting us registered and accommodating our satellite needs. The utilities are all good, but spacing is a bit strange with sewer hookups located quite a ways away. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is not a bad campground but there is nothing to do that I could find except in San Jose more than 20 miles north. There you will find the Winchester Mystery House, a bizarre house built by the heiress to the Winchester Rifle Company. Do not count on getting any television channels because you are between two small mountains. Cell service seems to be okay though. Most of the people here are permanent, but they do seem to have close relationships. It gives the place a kind of homey feeling which is not bad. By the way, the showers are clean because you have to pay to use them. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Real nice park. Our shady site was waiting for us with a welcome pack & pen. Big pull threw site. Good power, very nice shady/grass area in the middle. A number of liveaboards, but very well kept. Very quiet park, a few miles off the hi way but a lot better then the parks closer. We will overnight it here again sometime. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a wonderful surprise! The sites are big, level, and well spaced. A central area is grassy and park-like. The owner is helpful and very friendly. One morning, we saw a group of wild turkeys roaming through the park. There is no clubhouse or activity center, which is the only negative we found. As others have said, the seasonal sites are very neat, clean, and well kept up. We would definitely come back here! We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Host was extremely kind and opened up the office after hours (9:30) so we could camp here. He made sure we were hooked up correctly, and even drove by 2 times to make sure we didn't need anything. The park was very clean and friendly. We had a wonderful experience! We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Most of the folks at this park are permanent residents. Nice people. Uvas Park is a very quiet campground. If you want to "get away from it all" then this is for you. If you are a TV or internet 'junkie' then bring it with you as there is no TV service and a regular antenna will not work here. They have Wi-Fi but it is satellite based and very slow. We stayed a week. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

I really liked this RV park! I at first was hesitant about it because it is far (3 miles or so) from the freeway or grocery stores. We passed a Thousand Trails RV park which looked just awful, we were worried it was Uvas, fortunately it was not. Uvas is a small park with many permanent residents all who were friendly and quiet. The roads are paved and our back-in site was probably the widest I've ever experienced. Wi-Fi was free,we have a satellite dish that picked up a strong signal easily. The location is beautiful near mountains, trees, it is quiet. We stayed five days and the staff was very helpful to us and checked up on us to make sure we were comfortable. We had an emergency come up and had to leave a day early, they immediately refunded us the day without us even bringing it up. We will stay here again when visiting the San Jose area. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a very spacious site away from the main park area. We really liked this park, had a flock of wild turkeys living on the hill above us..Would definitely return again. We camped at Uvas Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
