This is a good one night stay while on the way up/down I-5. No frills, but a great value for the price. Beautiful view of a grassy pasture across the street with mountains in the background. If you have a reservation they'll tell you the site # and when you show up you set up and then pay. If no one is in the office just put your CASH in the drop box with site # attached. They have cable but we found our satellite worked fine in site A and would work in all sites on that row except B & C. Roads and sites are paved with grass between. Convenient on/off of I-5. The highway is close and there is a train track nearby, but this is the case in ALL campgrounds along I-5. I wore earplugs and didn't hear the noise at all. They ran mostly in the early morning. This is mostly a mobile home/full-time park but there has always been a spot for us when we wanted one. We camped at Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mostly mobile homes but spaces are long enough for 35ft and toad. Couldn't put out one slide because of tree. Not the easiest to maneuver into Park. The picnic table was on quite a slant. But for the price, it was clean with full hookups. 51 channels of cable. Verizon worked great but didn't try wifi. We camped at Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Perfect park for an overnight or an extended stay. Staff is present and visible, mix of overnighters and permanent residents. It was very quiet, friendly staff and residents and the hookups were brand new at my site. When I left the manager called my mobile phone and informed me that my antenna was up! Great service! We camped at Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice little park close to I5. We stayed for 5 days in site A. Nice view across road of mountains. Quite pastoral. Not much noise from I5 down at the lower level of the park. Manager very nice and helpful. We had Full hookups with 50 amp and cable. Also wifi which got a little spotty at prime times. Would stay here again when passing through Mount Shasta. We camped at Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a combo mobile home and RV park, although most of the RVs seem to be here for a long term stay. Both types of units are either fairly new or are reasonably well maintained. This park is OK, but it certainly isn't spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful, the baths aren't squeaky clean but they are OK, but the laundry room is a "pit". However, there are beautiful trees here. We camped at Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Would have given it a 10 if WiFi was available. Laundry, rest rooms and showers old but spotless. Lots of permanent residents but units are very well kept. Pull through sites paved with grass and a small shade tree. Back-ins are in a pine tree shaded area, like camping in a forest. Short distance from Interstate 5, some traffic noise and an occasional train in the distance. Owners very friendly and helpful. We camped at Chateau Shasta Mobile Home & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
