This is a very nice, 12 sites park behind the lodge. Downtown is 1 mile away. It is a great place to be when exploring Napa Valley. Very clean and quiet. Level parking, did not use jacks. Our site had 50 amp, some may only have 30 amp. I was under the impression that they redid them and they all are now 50 amps. If that is important, make sure to check as I'm not sure.

They did raise the price: it is $30 a night now. All are full hookups which is unusual for Elk's Lodges. Nicely landscaped sites. Some people are saying they are close together, I would say they are about normal compared to what I have stayed in. About half can take 40 - 42 foot RV, but it is a tight fit to get into them. No reservations but a great place to stay while touring Napa area. We camped at Elks Lodge #832 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Limited visitors centers. Best Western motel office very helpful.

Visit Castello Di Amorosa last winery on the road up Napa valley.

Visit the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield. Purchase Belly Flops: fun for everyone.

Western Railway Museum is dedicated to electric trains and street cars. Do the museum first and then Jelly Belly Factory.

NOTE: This is a campground for members of a Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elk lodge only. Nice little campground on the grounds of the Elks Lodge. Most sites 30 amp service, a couple are 50 amp. All sites have water and sewer. All sites are back-in. Tight driving around the perimeter, but the biggest rigs can make it. While we were there, there was a 45' RV but he could only fit in site #6 - and he was a professional driver! Restrooms are available in the lodge, during their open hours only. Sites are clean. There is a big grassy area to walk your dogs without leaving the park. "Doggie doo" bags are available at two places in the park, with a trash bin to put the filled bags. Overflow parking is available. Entire campground is behind a security gate, even the overflow parking, which is nice, the the campground is in the middle of the city of Napa. No reservations - first come, first served and you check in with the bartender. If you arrive after the place is closed, you can dry-camp in their parking lot. It's very big. We camped at Elks Lodge #832 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

What a great place to stay! Right in the middle of town & close to all wineries! Full hook-ups, gravel sites with concrete pads. Great grassy areas for your pups! Close to river access with a nice paved path for walking or jogging. The lodge couldn't have friendlier or warm! Wednesday nights they serve dinner...had a great RibEye dinner for $22.00. Would definitely stay here again & looking forward to returning! We camped at Elks Lodge #832 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice, small, private (Elk members only) campground incredibly near downtown Napa, California with lots of convenient shopping nearby (e.g., Safeway, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, etc...) The location provides an excellent jumping off place to explore all of Napa Valley and at $25 a night for a full hookup campsite the price cannot be beat. The sites are small but typical for a private campground and very level. The area is very clean and quiet. The Napa River Trail (7 mile walk/bike/run) runs right along the rear of the campground and can be accessed via a locked gate. This is the best value we've seen yet in California and to have it in the heart of wine country makes this a real gem. They do not take reservations and when we arrived on a Monday in early November, there were only three other RV's so we could choose from nine other sites. If you get here and the place is full, they will let you spend the night in the parking lot so you can make other arrangements or wait for a vacancy. As a back-up, check out the Calistoga RV park (it's a county fair park about 28 miles up the road.) We camped at Elks Lodge #832 (Members Only) in a Travel Trailer.

This Elks lodge campground is available only to Elk members. There are 12 sites located behind the lodge. Four sites have 50 amp and the others have 30 amp. Full hookups. Nicely landscaped sites but close together and fairly unloved. Only a few sites can accommodate rigs over 40 feet. First-come, first-serve with no reservations. Full on most weekends but midweek it is easier to get a site. There is a 14 day limit which is strictly enforced. Great place to stay while touring Napa. We camped at Elks Lodge #832 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

This is an Elks Lodge, so camping is only available to current Elks members. You go into the Lodge, sign in and then talk to the bartender about whether there are any spaces available. She signs you up and reviews your membership card. This lodge had their RV spaces behind the lodge with a code enabled gate. There were 12 spots. Even though the signage said cars should be parked on the north side of the building, everyone seemed to park their car in front of their RV. We have a small motorhome but I could see where some of the larger rigs could have a difficult time navigating around the vehicles. Supposedly, if all of the spots are filled, they will let you dry camp in their front lot. The lot is large and very level. There is a very nice walking trail directly behind the campsite. The lodge is about 1.7 miles from downtown Napa where there are loads of wonderful places to eat. We camped at Elks Lodge #832 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.
