This is a small, flat, open, paved RV park within 0.6 mile of downtown Napa. Check-in was great by the friendly camp host. Sites are large clean concrete pads. I needed one Lego block to get level. WiFi was satisfactory. The open space worked well for satellite TV. We scanned 40+ OTA stations, most either Chinese or Vietnamese-based. Laundry was 2 washers and a double dryer, but worked satisfactorily at $1.50 to wash. Plenty of space for pet walking, as the park is situated near/in the Expo. Plenty of trash and recycling bins were provided. The Park is extremely clean. Utilities worked fine. Very good value for exploring the Napa Valley. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Part of the Expo grounds in downtown Napa. Weak unsecured WiFi. Grass between campers with concrete pads. Trash cans overflowing with trash blowing all over the campground. Only one camp host, who is overwhelmed. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice and clean park and the camp host is very friendly. We usually like to stay at state parks and campgrounds where we have some privacy between sites, but this is more of a typical RV park with no privacy between sites. It was pretty much the only option though for visiting the Napa area. The location was great! Walking distance to Oxbow Market, close to the Napa wineries and not far from Sonoma. Close to Six Flags in Vallejo and Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield. Verizon and AT&T worked very well. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was better than we had expected, very neat and clean with grass between the sites and very level concrete pads. Utilities all worked well with great water pressure. The entrance is narrow and a bit dicey as previously noted, so go slow entering.

Our only complaint was the Camp Host, who was not in the office, so we went to the sign indicating his residence within the park. When I knocked on his door he opened it with a "Ma'am, there is a doorbell!" Not very friendly and I was not the only one to make this "mistake!" Regardless, we would definitely recommend the park for anyone wanting to visit Napa. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a TINY park tucked into the heart of Napa, California. It has just 30 spaces, and I was lucky enough to get the last available space when I booked two weeks in advance. The park is well designed, and well maintained. There is a bit of road noise from a busy street bordering the park, but the park itself is very quiet. The pads are concrete, with a picnic table available. Shade is minimal, but the excellent weather in Napa during our stay rendered this unnecessary. I had a 45' back-in site, and it was tight parking my truck after disconnecting and auto leveling. The utility hook-ups are located in the middle of the site, so my water hose and electrical cable were at maximum length to reach my connections. Sewer for my trailer was a short run, but if your sewer hook-ups are in the rear, it may be a stretch. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Napa is wine country. If you want a treat, try the Napa Valley Wine Train. Great fun, great food, but pricey.

After rereading some of the other reviews, I feel like we were in a different park. Certainly there is no question that this park is a fabulous location for a reasonable cost. Our spot was level and did have grass between spots. The camp host was very helpful and accommodating. But the noise level was really disturbing--the county seemed to spend all its maintenance dollars on tractors and leaf blowers to clean out the livestock pens, starting at 6:30 AM several mornings and continuing all day every day. The grass was not mowed the entire week we were there, and it was tall and unkempt. The trees were shedding leaves and fruit, and were left where they fell. I don't know what other campgrounds in Napa are like, but we would certainly check them out first before we returned here. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park close to town, and short drive to both Napa and Sonoma wineries. Concrete pads. 75 ft. long pull-throughs. Restrooms are clean and individual rooms. This was our second stay here. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a small park (28 spaces), but it really worked well for us. Our space was long - we could easily park behind our rig with plenty of pavement to spare. Grass surrounds all of the sites, and the camp hosts were busy busy busy keeping it all mowed and trimmed and everything tidy. WiFi worked well, but there is no cable and we really had a hard time bringing in local TV stations over our digital antenna (thankfully, RedBox is close by). There is shopping and restaurants south and north, and "wine country" is just out your door and up the road a little ways.

Also, about every two spaces, you have your own garbage and recycle can in a little enclosure right in front of the rigs. Very handy!

Our one little nit-pick is coming and going into and out of the park. We just about drove past the place, as the sign is very small. Also, there is one of those triangle-things where the access road meets the main road, making you make only right turns when leaving the park (we cheated a few times, but it really is a bad corner as traffic comes zooming around from the north). That triangle kind of gets in the way as you first enter the park, so give yourself plenty of room if coming from the south to swing around and make the turn (we have a 36' motorhome pulling a Honda CR/V).

If we're ever in the area again, staying here would be an absolute no-brainer! We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very nice park with super location for touring the Napa Valley. It is on the fair ground property but feels nicely removed from it yet convenient walking into Napa proper. The sites are all paved, level and generous in size. We had booked just two nights and would have loved more but they were full. The camp host is great. He has been there for 11 years and works like crazy to keep the park spotless and safe which we truly appreciate. There are rules to follow and they would be enforced but that is what most Rvers appreciate. Thank you! We loved being able to walk into town. Great restaurants of course. Gotts drive-in worth a lunch and the Ox-bow market next door is great, and all just a few minutes walk from the park. Touring the valley from here super easy. Don't miss going North on the Silverado Trail, a much easier drive especially with your rig than 28. We will be back to this park for an extended stay! For Napa we were very happy to get a spot at this Park. Nice grassy spots outside your concrete pad with tables. If you go out back expo gates you are two blocks from downtown. Directions to Park - it is important to follow the RV park directions so you go in a gate that is open. Small park so reserve early as popular. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

I read the reviews for this place and initially got nervous. I truly have no idea what some of these negative reviews are about. We were in town for some appointments at some local wineries and was traveling with our oversized 5th wheel. We wanted to move from the RV park we were initially staying at so we stopped in and spoke with camp host "Bob." He was warm, friendly, welcoming, and very accomodating to our needs. That being said, we moved over to the Napa Valley Expo RV Park. This is a very basic park folks, NOT a resort; there are no frills here. It's got large concrete pads with grassy areas. This place is small but EXTREMELY clean & organized. There was no riffraff or shady people; we noticed mostly middle to high-end rigs here. Aside from Calistoga Fairgrounds, this is the closest you're going to get to wine country if you're traveling in an RV. FOLLOW BOB'S RULES and you'll be fine folks! We are RV park snobs so we are used to LOTS OF RULES; it's really not that hard. This was perhaps one of the easiest stays we've had. Will be back!! My only complaint is that I could never get anyone to acknowledge our phone calls when attempting to gain a reservation via telephone. That is why we had to show up in person and we just happened to get lucky with a space available. NV RV Expo please answer your phones! We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Most sites are pull through and are very long - plenty of space for our 38 foot coach and toad. Sites are level and totally concrete. There were garbage cans and re-cycling bins between each site which was so convenient. As this is a small park, there were no amenities to speak of except the laundry which had 2 washers and dryers - I loved that the dryers cost $.25 for 10 minutes, so you could pay for exactly what you wanted. Wifi was great and the park was extremely close to the downtown area - you literally walked out the back of the fairgrounds and were on 3rd street - one of the 3 major shopping/restaurant areas. This was a great 'jumping off' point to tour the Napa Valley and we were 50 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge. We stayed 8 days here as we found it so convenient and it truly felt like we were coming home every night. We arrived in the dark, so it was a little difficult to find the entrance and to see where to go when you came in, but this didn't affect how pleased we were overall with the park. I would definitely come back here again. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pros: The majority of the sites are pull-thru with huge, clean, concrete pads. There's a generous lawn area with a picnic table between sites and nice, paved roadways throughout. The grounds are kept very clean with many convenient trash cans. There was a small laundry room available. There are full hookups and WiFi, but no cable TV. We had TV reception from our antenna. Best of all, the location is a short stroll to downtown Napa (approx. 1/2 mile).

Con: The bathrooms looked nice, but weren't in the best condition during our stay; we were told that they might be remodeled soon. They smelled heavily of cigarette smoke.

I would definitely recommend this park, but you might prefer to use the bathroom in your rig. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Big level concrete pads, grass strips and no trees. This RV park is very well located within walking distance of central Napa. The Wi-Fi service was decent. The service friendly and diligent. All utilities were good - especially sewer. There are two sewer access caps for each site, one toward front center and one near back center, so it's easy to attach for the one that works best for your rig. The other patrons were very quiet and respectful. There were a couple families like mine, but mostly the park served retired folks with very large rigs. The park was even able to add one more day to my stay during this peak period. I was grateful and would happily stay there again. In fact, I suspect I'll return within the next 6 months.
