We stayed only one night here in our Airstream trailer. We were greeted in such a friendly way! There are lots of snow birds here, long term people, but you can't really tell from the looks of the trailers and sites. Everything is very tidy and there are hedges (nice and tall) between sites. Nice and private, each has a lovely concrete patio for our BBQ, chairs, etc. Our site was long enough that we didn't have to unhook from the truck. We would absolutely come here again. I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 only because my 10 is more like a state park but this is darn close, and with full hook ups, a laundry room, a pool, a very small dog run too! This is quite the little find I think for $35 with good sam discount. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Private sites with Oleander bushes separating each site. Concrete patios. A lot of snowbirds but very clean park. ATT 4 bars, free wifi is pretty darn good for an RV park. No fire rings or picnic tables. Very friendly staff, very nicely landscaped and all facilities were very clean. We would suggest calling for a reservation to insure a site is available. Only had about 5 or 6 sites available each day of our 4 day stay but they would fill up in the after noon. Easy on and off of I-40. City street to campground a little rough but looks like they may be going to repave it soon. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice and clean park with fairly level pull thru sites for short term guest. Tall oleander bushes separate the sites which offers shade and privacy since the sites are fairly close.. Free wi-fi but no cable. We were able to access 10-12 channels with our antenna. Highway to the park is really rough but not far off I-40. Lots of places nearby to visit but not much in the town of Needles. Office staff is wonderful and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area. Small gravel dog park. Small patio which was not in a good location for our rig but no picnic table. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Oatman,AZ is about 30 min. away and a must see old gold mine town. Wild burros roam the street and the hotel where Clark Gable and Carol Lombard spent their honeymoon is here.

Also drive down to Lake Havasu, AZ and see London Bridge.

Driving to this park will give you the impression that it is in a run down area, but the park itself is worth investigating. The sites are level, private with tall oleanders and the staff was very helpful. If you want an overnight place to stay, that is quiet, clean, and safe, at a reasonable price, this is it! We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Didn't investigate the area, but did use the onsite laundry, cheap and clean. The pool is heated comfortably and the showers and restrooms were spotless.

Nice overnight stop while traveling on I-40. Entrance is just beyond a KOA park and can easily be mistaken. Large walls of oleanders give each site lots of privacy. Some of the reviews we read indicated pullthroughs were tough but we had no problem on site 33 and didn't need to disconnect. We were in a 42 ft. rig. We used the nearby laundry facilities, $2.50 for a wash and dry. Very quiet. Although the main train line was a mile or two up the hill, we didn't hear any whistles that evening. No problem getting a dish and signal up. Phoenix stations were on the rabbit ears. We would stay there again. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stopped overnight. First time here and we really liked the level sites and the privacy created by the oleanders and trees between each site. The one downside was getting here. The address is listed as 5300 Route 66, but GPS puts you about a ½ mile away. It turns out Route 66 here also has another street name.

At any rate, we found it and would stay here again. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is hard to get to going west on I-40. Interior roads to park are rough unless you like to shake, rattle and roll. Park is nicely maintained. Has pool, recreation room and outdoor grilling area. Restroom and showers (2) were in pool area. They were adequate. Good place to stay for one night during summer travels. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here for a few nights each year as a break for our annual sojourn to Arizona. Good value. Level sites, unusually good site privacy - tall thick hedges between sites. Friendly staff. Great place to dry out from the Oregon rain. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent the winter here and enjoyed ourselves very much. We plan on coming back next winter and look forward to all the friends we made. The club House is busy every day with games or pot lucks or just visiting and there's horse shoes and golf or ATV outings. The sites are large, private and quiet. Needles doesn't have much going on but it's half way between Bull Head City/Laughlin and Lake Havasu City and that's perfect for us. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I researched (visited each park in Needles) earlier this year and picked this resort for our group outing. I don't know when the new owner (Sinisha Kostich) took over but he is an outstanding people person. this park is one of the cleanest that we have stayed in. Large pull through sites. Rec Room is 24/7 and air conditioned. We spoke with the owner several times during our stay and he is striving to make this park even better. Our group of nine rigs are looking forward to returining to this park. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park about three years ago and not much has changed. A park of mostly permanents with a long row of pull-through sites for the overnight crowd. Fairly easy to get to and yet far enough from I-40 that the night traffic noise is not bothersome. Nothing nearby in the way of markets, cafes, etc. so you unless you have a tow along you need to have your "essentials" in stock before hooking up. It's called Desert View but all the pull-through spaces face inward and look directly at other RVs or the park's facility buildings and pool, etc. The view of the desert is in back if you care to walk around and take a peek. A good, clean, quiet and safe stopover for the night and one that we will continue to use when in the Needles area. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

As mentioned in my review, you are pretty much out of town in the boonies in this park so best to have stock on hand before settling in for the night.

Not really pull throughs. Very tight for 40' mh. Had to trim bushes for slides. Sewer connection uphill. Owner tried to park us backwards in a site much less than 40 feet. Very nice camp hosts. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

My wife and I planned a stopped at Desert View RV Resort for 2 nights and ended up staying 2 weeks. The park operators are very friendly and helpful. The owner of the park is a good person who really cares about his place and tries to ensure your needs are met. The spaces were plenty big for our 27' rig with one slide out. Every spot have trees separating each RV from one another, which gives good privacy. There are a lot of activities to do with other RVer's in the park. They put on different types of tournaments through out the week. Most were snowbirds escaping the north cold. Everyone we met were so friendly. This park is very pet friendly with ample room to walk your pets. The spaces were level and easily accessible. Bullhead/ Laughlin are about 25 miles away, but an easy drive. There are several places to eat in the area. Satellite is easy to acquire. The only downfall with this park is the internet service (slow), which they admit on the phone. They have great rates when staying a week or longer. We will stay here again when back in the area. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
