Needles is on the Colorado River at Interstate 40. This puts you at the intersection of California, Arizona and Nevada. This is a nice RV park with mostly pull through sites. There are mature shrubs and trees separating the sites giving a degree of privacy but the site itself is fairly narrow with no patio or fire pit. There are the usual facilities: full hookups, bathrooms, showers, pool, community room etc. The bathrooms are spotless and well maintained. Most driveways and site pads are gravel. There is free WiFi but it was spotty from our site but reliable from the community room. Good service and friendly people. We paid $195 for a week. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Okay place to stay overnight from I-40. Sites are level gravel and concrete with some patios. They are tight for big rigs but the management parks you personally so that you fit. Bushes all around for privacy. Wifi is available at the activity center. 30/50 amp full hookups. Satellite works, no cable. Dog park and pool. Extremely friendly people! Would stay here again. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night. A nice park not far off the interstate. The roads as a little tight for big rigs. We had a nice long site with bush screening between the sites. Clean and well cared for. We were able to keep to toad attached for an early departure. The sites are gravel with a concrete pad. We did not test the wifi but they said we had to go to the office to get it. There is an adjacent open area where you can walk your dog. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sites are level, extremely narrow although dense vegetation gives the illusion of privacy. In order to be centered on our 'patio' it was necessary to unhook and park our truck crossways in the site. Some highway and train noise. Okay for overnight but I would look for another option if we find ourselves in the area again, We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

we stayed here overnight on a trip to Grand Canyon. I made a reservation in advance and told them I would be checking in late and leaving early. I received an email confirmation and a text reminder the day of my visit. Just as I was told, the management had my reservation package waiting for me and I was able to leave payment in a lockbox at the office. The site was level, power was good and secure and water pressure was good. Although the sites were (typically) close, there are nice heavy oleander bushes on either side of the site offering privacy. The park is very conveniently located right off the highway, which brings me to my only "con." The highway and nearby train track do cause a bit of noise, particularly with windows open. Other than that, this is a nice park and we would stay here again. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

September 30- Nice, well maintained campground. Tall shrubs separate each site for privacy. Good Verizon Wireless and MIFI signal. Only issue was that their free wifi never connected to our laptops. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stopped here overnight based on reviews and the desire for. Swimming pool for our 9 year old grandson Checking easy and friendly. Our sit was close to both the office and pool/ showers. Gravel site with concrete pad divided from other sites by a tall hedge Cable end was missing but everything else worked. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Visited the park with my friends and we had a great time going jet skiing in the Colorado River! There is lots of shade during the hot summer days. Great amentities including a pool, ping pong tables, full kitchen and barbecue. We enjoyed our experience very much and would love to come back again!! We use this park for our one night stays when traveling thru Needles. Convenient to find, easy to maneuver thru and the pull thru spaces have Oleanders on each side for privacy. Not a super resort type of park but a clean, well managed, and nice place to toss out the old anchor for the night. Many permanent residents but they are mostly in the back in sites and away from the overnight pull thru sites. We will continue to use this park when in the Needles area................ We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A ways out from the town of Needles. Best to have the essentials with you unless you have a vehicle to go into town, etc. Great location, easy to get to and the train/traffic noises are not bothersome as they are a ways off from the park.................

Friendly hosts. Guided to site. Well landscaped. Good privacy (shrubs / trees) between sites. Pull throughs too tight for RV slides as a result of elevated concrete pad for picnic table (but, no table). 50A power was dirty; had to disconnect. Rock/gravel everywhere. Tight maneuvering for big rig. Not a pleasant experience. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We were welcomed by a friendly and helpful staff. They led us to our site and offered to assist with setting up. Our site was close to our neighbors but private with Oleander bushes between the sites. Our site was level and very clean. Good thing we had a reservation because there was a FULL sign at the entrance. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Recommend you cross the river to purchase fuel in AZ. The savings per gallon is well worth the short trip. We had a good meal at the Route 66 Wagon Wheel restaurant.

What a beautiful park! We planned on staying here for just one night, but we ended up staying for a week. There are tall oleanders in between each site that provide a lot of shade, one of the few rv resorts I've seen that actually have shade and some privacy in between each spot. They have a dog run, a little fenced in area to let your dogs run around, and a lot of people in the park seem to have dogs they walk around, very dog friendly. The community seems very active and friendly, there was a pot luck for St. Patrick's Day which was an awesome surprise. The bathrooms, shower and pool were all very clean and well maintained, we wouldn't have made it through the heat without that pool! Also, there is really pretty landscape around the park with mountains in the distance all around you, needless to say the sunsets here are gorgeous! We will definitely be staying here again. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I researched (visited each park in Needles) earlier in 2016 and picked this resort for our group outing. I don't know when the new owner took over but he is an outstanding people person. This park is one of the cleanest that we have stayed in. Large pull through sites. Rec Room is 24/7 and air conditioned. We spoke with the owner several times during our stay and he is striving to make this park even better. We had a pot luck and the owner surprised us with pizza for our group. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This RV camp has the most friendly, kind and helpful staff and management! We stayed for one night on the way to the Grand Canyon and our 4 year old son got really sick. The owner went out of his way to help us. He recommended the best hospitals, helped me clean my son's bed sheets and even brought him chicken soup so he would feel better! It was so comforting to have such loving company away from home and in this difficult situation. The camp itself is very well maintained. Sites are long and have big Oleander bushes on each side which give great privacy and make the place look really pretty and happy! I would recommend this place to anyone!
