The full hookup section has tight spaces. The no sewer section on the other side of the lake had slightly bigger spots. The lake was nice, took about 30 minutes to walk around it. Great sunsets over the lake. Canoe/kayak rentals are $6. AT&T and Verizon reception were spotty. Wifi only in the lodge, couldn't get it to work. The people who live here for an extended period of time (retired) were very nice. There are chickens on site that roam around. Rooster will wake you up in the morning. We stayed for a week, towards the end of our week the Memorial Day crowd moved in. Neighbors on three sides of us argued very loudly, woke us up one morning. Town of Yuba is 30 minutes away. Nothing closeby. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

We received a pass to this park (Thousand Trails) when we purchased our new motorhome. We booked online. We checked in and were a little apprehensive about the condition of the RV's in the park and the "clutter" in and around the homes but gave it a chance. We drove around the lake which was nice enough but did not feel comfortable staying in any part of the park and left. We will not go back. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

First impressions: quieter than I thought it would be. Arrived on Thursday and was lucky to get a perfect spot. Kids enjoyed the lake (fishing, paddle boating and swimming). Obviously was an older campground that is being improved. No pool, but can swim in lake. No sewer hookups where we parked. Not really a destination, but a pass through, unless you live in Sacramento. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

This could be a GREAT park in that it surrounds a nice size lake for fishing and kayaking/peddle boating. It is pretty rundown though and it does not seem like they are trying to improve it like many of the other TT parks we have been to lately.

Our camping site was level with good 30amp power, water, and shade. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Like many other Thousand Trails parks, this one needs a lot of maintenance. The putt-putt course is basically unplayable, the septic system that serves the full-hookups section is undersized or just broken and full-hookups sites can only dump every other day, all of the buildings show major signs of age and wear. However, we had fun here. A stroll around the lake is pleasant. There are two playground -- both very minimal and in need of repair -- but out kids enjoyed them. The family clubhouse has been updated and is nice and clean. We'd stay again, but good glory I wish they'd fix the issue with the full hookups sites. There's nothing within 20-30 minutes. You'll be driving down towards Sacramento if you need a grocery store.

This was our first time staying at the Lake Minden TTs. Check-in was super fast and easy with the attendant already having our paperwork prepped. We found a nice site in Section D. All the sites in this section are angled so very easy to back in. This section is 30 amp and with water and the power is very smooth even during mid day with A/Cs running. All the individuals we interacted with were very friendly which is something we have grown use to at TTs parks. It does get hot as there doesn't seem to be much mid-day breezes. The lake in the middle of the park is a nice size and we kayaked on it a few times. Overall, the park is a good place to come to just rest as it is about 18 miles north of Sacramento. We will be back when passing through this area. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been coming to this Campgrounds since 1993. The Staff has always been friendly on each of our visits.

During the week you can see the maintenence crew working around the park keeping things neat and trim.

The staff cleans the bathrooms completely on a daily basis.

This is more a membership park than a public facility. And, as a group of members, we also help in keeping this campground clean. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

Easy check in and very friendly staff. Nice location and setup. Level space with w/e, no sewer. Only full hookups are by entrance, A section, and they were full. These are back to back and several had a long unit that took up both spaces. C section is where we stayed. We're going to stay 7 days, but left after 4. Sticker burrs and sweet gum trees. Our cat did not like either and we had to wash the car several times to get the sap off. Would stay here again but away from trees, maybe over by the entry road by the lake. Mosquitos were a huge problem as the sun went down. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Luckily, this was just a one night stop. I had a reservation but that just meant "go find a spot and let us know the number". We were told to go to the back area along a slow and dusty road. It was very crowded and the places are tight. Some very nice spots were "reserved annuals". We finally found a back in that we barely fit. The BBQ had trash in it, the table was filthy and the cockle burrs were horrendous. Our dogs could barely walk around outside our 35ft fifth wheel. The lake looked nice enough. We would never stay here again. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

Received very sketchy information from the office about our site. We drove around until we found one that looked available. The sites available for overnight are basically some gravel driveways in a ball field. The first two sites we tried did not have functioning electric hook-ups. Our site was not level and there is no cable. Fortunately, the camp was not crowded and we liked the quiet, open space. Satellite worked great. Dogs loved the open lawns around the park. Too expensive for zero amenities. Would not stay again. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for an overnight, not a member. Was led to believe there were 50amp service, found out only 30 amp. Also was told WIFI was available. That's true, but only at the office area. I was told to find a spot in the back area, which is a good 1/2 mile from the office. Roads are dirt/gravel and very dusty. Lots of full timers. One place had junk piled up around it and was surrounded by a chicken wire fence. The overall condition of the park was fair at best. When I went to open the electrical box to plug in, the cover came off in my hand. I would never stay here again. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty lake location. It is nestled in a quiet area. The camp ground surrounds the private lake, which I am guessing is actually an irrigation pond.

There are rv and dry camping tent sites here.

There are two rv areas. The one at the back side of the lake is nice, and was completely full when I got here at 6 pm on a Friday.

The front area has tiny RV spaces. The parking conditions reminded me of an RV storage area. A number of campers have expanded into 2 spaces.

I actually pulled into a space backwards (front in) so that I wouldn't be so close I could reach out and touch my neighbor from my main door.

I have a 24 foot conversion Van with no slides. I can pull in just about anywhere. While I was on a walk past the office I saw a gentleman with a big motorhome who had driven the park unable to find a space he could fit in.

i am here for one Friday night as an overnight stop on a long trip. I would not recommend this park, at least not on a busy weekend, unless one gets here mid week to secure a nice spot.

I camped here on a Thousand Trails membership. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Rate was a member rate. This campground is all about the lake and on any given day there are several people fishing and swimming. The other draw is nearby Sacramento. Downtown is about 30 minutes away and the airport is even closer. There are two primary campgrounds. One is the old, original campground. It is tight with, basically, two RVs sharing a spot big enough to be one small campsite. Not only are the conditions crowded, but several rental cabins have been put on the spots nearest the lake. This section, right by the entry has not one, but two activity buildings, a weekend restaurant, mini-golf, has full hookup sites, and a laundry. There are also signs posted everywhere that electrical voltage is low in that section. The other RV campground is on the far corner of the property (there are also a couple of tenting areas). This campground is the mirror reverse of the other campground. There are no amenities aside from the restrooms. The sites are somewhat larger, they are only water/electric, and the electric works fine (although it is also only 30 amps). Coming and going from this area of the campground is a bit tedious because the road is one way around the lake and the speed limit is 5 mph. That may not sound like much but after a while it gets tiresome to creep in and out for every trip. We had a full scale Verizon 4G cell and data signal. The campground is surrounded by walnut groves and farmland and for years the lake has been a draw to folks wanting to get out of the city. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.
