46 Parks near North Palm Springs, California
Mar 2013 - $17.00
What a gem in a beautiful part of California. The wind can be bothersome and gusty. However we had more days with no wind or a slight breeze than windy days. We spent 5 months at this park and the rate is the average cost including electric and propane. The only problem I saw was not enough washer and dryers at the park. However this never caused me personally a problem. Park is run by a great group of workers who make sure it is clean and quiet. The average grocery store or gas station is less than 5 to 10 minutes from the park. There are so many great places to eat (local places) in Palm Springs which is 15 to 20 minutes away. This area has all the big box stores and chain restaurants anyone can think of. I enjoyed my lot that faced north where I could enjoy 70 to 80 degree days and look at snow covered mountain peaks. Joshua Tree National Park is 30 to 45 minutes away depending on which entrance you use. - illini777
Feb 2012 - $25.00
Nightly rate based on our monthly rate. We are still here and can't wait for our monthly rental to end. This Park is clean but only has 4 washers for the entire park, due to sewer limitations. It is amid all the windmills so is very windy and I mean verrry windy. The pictures on their website are all taken to avoid any indication of the windmills. Also, it is very far from town. We are always heading to town for groceries, etc. Nothing to do out here near the park. Can't wait to leave! - surefoot
Feb 2011 - $30.00
This is a very nice park and we especially liked the size of the lots. The pools are nice and they have pickle ball, tennis courts and a putting green. The residents are friendly and the office staff friendly and helpful. They could use more activities for the residents because this is a destination park and people spend a few months at a time here. We highly recommend the fantastic Saturday morning breakfast for only $5.00. Very close to downtown Palm Springs and easy access to freeway for more extensive shopping. The wind is wild but they can't be held responsible; first clue are the hundreds of wind turbines just across the street. Verizon works well as does Bell ExpressVu. We will return when in the area. - Carly
Jun 2011 - $45.00
This is an unusual park because it is combined with a mobile home park where people live permanently. That is actually a good thing. People can ask locals other than a park manager, where good shopping, etc., is. Also, some people leave their rigs here all year (parked in storage) and return by car every year. Most of the RV'ers we saw this winter were from Canada and returned to the area because they loved golf or the local casinos, or just the desert, which was lovely. I also liked that there were walking paths out into the desert behind the park, accessible through the side gate, and the scenery here was real, not landscaped. The park pool is large and the spa big enough for 20 or so people. The clubhouse is nice, too, with a kitchen and room for the nightly card games our group held. It has a pool table and room to read, with books to take out and leave some if you want. A nice, friendly place. Management was not really very friendly, but the people at the park made up for it. It's a short walk to a shopping center with a Vons, K-Mart, and Starbucks, so you don't have to drive everywhere. - dhsbrenda
Mar 2016 - $44.00
Level but small site, barely large enough for RV. Very bureaucratic typical of large company. Staff tried to be helpful, but started disconnecting toad at bad place although asked not to, and wasn't facile with back in guidance. Won't stay here again, mostly due to site too small. - MSTraveler
Jan 2016 - $42.00
Our first time here, top notch all the way. Tall vegetation between sites. All with concrete pad. Clean paved streets lined with Palm Trees, many with lights. This is the most dog friendly park and most friendly campers too.
They have live music and free beer and wine on Wednesdays next to the pool. Who does that nowadays????????.
There is also a nice 9 hole golf course on premise.
The dog parks have lawns and palm trees. - Internetputz
Nov 2015 - $38.00
Great place to stay, exceeded our expectations. We spent a few days here on our way home, wished we could have stayed longer. RV sites are together between two streets (backins), primarily a park model facility. Site was good-size, with tall oleander bushes between sites adding to privacy. Sites were staggered slightly, with sites on one street half-way between the sites behind, also adding to the feeling of privacy. Roads are paved, level gravel sites with concrete patio. Fantastic fenced dog parks, everything neat and clean. Quite and peaceful oasis. It is winder in Desert Hot Springs than on the other side of the freeway. We will return. - SW Rick
May 2007 - $35.00
I stayed here for 1 month and left ASAP! This is a disgusting place. Fully equipped with corrupt sleazy management and all the white trash, drug trafficking you can handle. Do yourself and others and don't experience this place. - daveer
Aug 2016 - $50.00
It was great park, great pool and spa, great staff. The a time there was so nice. The rest rooms are great and clean. I was there on a holiday and the park had a pot luck it was great. - navin302
Aug 2016 - $50.00
This is a older park but and the management takes really good care of the property. We loved that the park is gated and smaller then some of the other parks we stayed in. - Cactus cutie
Aug 2015 - $30.00
Great park, great pool and spa. Great spaces. The bathrooms are clean the staff is great. The park is a great place to stay. Our space was great: had a lot of room and some shade. - navin302
Dec 2013 - $14.00
The $14 daily rate is based on the monthly rate we paid. This RV park is an older park with limited spaces for travelers. It is excellently managed by the on-site managers, who work tirelessly to keep the grounds and facilities immaculate. We particularly enjoyed the hot spring fed hot tubs and the pool, the water is crystal clear, cleaner than anything we have ever seen. There is a strong sense of community in this park but you don't feel pressured to take part if you want your privacy. There are also planned events if you wish to take part, and the social committee issues a regular newsletter to everyone on site. It is securely gated and never once did we feel unsafe. We stayed here for 5 weeks in a quiet site away from Corkill Road and we plan to return to this park for sure. - User3357
Dec 2013 - $30.00
Staff was extremely friendly, and pool and bathrooms although old were clean..No place to park out of the way while attempting to register without blocking a full time mobile home owners driveway. One resident had us move twice even before getting to the office 20 feet away. Then the full time mobile home neighbor close to the only site available for a week started griping and giving us crusty looks before we were even able to back into our site. We smiled and waved and told him we would be out of his way momentarily...he grumbled and drove off. It seemed those residents are not happy with RV's pulling in and out which appears to be a more recent choice of the new ownership. The park is old with too many resident cars that look like they haven't budged in months (all flat tires). Roads are really too tight for 40ft class A... narrow with way too many obstacles waiting around some hidden corner. Bars on windows in the whole neighborhood outside of the park, including the park office was our first head's up that we might want to stay elsewhere. After attempting to get the rig around the corner and dealing with the not friendly neighbors we informed the office we would not be staying. - GOERV
Oct 2013 - $40.00
This is hard to rate because services are fine. The main thing to know is this is not an RV park, but an older mobile home park where they put RVs on unoccupied mobile home sites. This provides pretty roomy decomposed gravel spaces. The office is only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 10-2 in the off season. When we arrived Tuesday we were met at the locked gate and directed to the assigned spot and told come to the office the next day. Manager was very nice the next day, but we had to wait a day to get the Wi-Fi code, which works well. It is an okay place to hang out and about a 20 minute drive to Palm Springs across the freeway, where you will want to go for restaurants and amenities. The mineral pool and three mineral spas are very nice. - Dayle Tedrow
Apr 2016 - $15.00
Most people have already left for the season. We were allowed to find any spot that we wanted. Sandy level lots with concrete patios. Nice landscaping with hedges separating the sites. The pump for the pools and spas failed while we were there, so we were allowed to use the pools at their sister property and they were nicer ones than at Catalina. We also found out that Catalina Spa is in the process of being sold and new owners are taken over. DO NOT PAY FOR THEIR INTERNET. It is the worse I have ever used - well not used since connections dropped constantly. - akeller156
Mar 2016 - $23.00
You have to pay for the WiFi, is not very good. The pools are a little older but nice, warm, clean and water from the hot springs, they have to cool it down, we loved it. Your site is a back-in, you are parked on sand and some have a little concrete patio. Little shrubs in between. Great pickle ball courts. When we where here most of the snowbirds left. Great place for a week or two. - Traveller Excel
Feb 2016 - $15.00
First time to stay in this area. We were met at the gate by a very friendly staff member who told us to find the site of our choice then register at the office and let them know our choice. Very nice campground, sites are nice and level and a decent amount of room at each site. Campground also has organized lunches and dinners. Nice touch if you don't want to cook. - Dedra C
Apr 2016 - $28.00
Without discount it's a bit high but, hey, welcome to California. Nice pool/spa area, 9 hole golf course, pickleball courts, dog run, big clubhouse, lots of activities for the 55+ crowd. Interior roads are horribly narrow, not bigger rig friendly. - rvrrat520
Apr 2016 - $28.00
A nice facility, with plenty to do. Sites are spacious. All sites are gravel, but have a concrete patio. The mineral water pool and hot tubs are a huge positive. All are between 90 and 104 degrees. The laundry is a huge negative. Machines take a card which cost $5 plus whatever is put on it. All refills are in $5 increments, with no refunds. WiFi is good. Cable is poor....you need a TimeWarner box to get most channels. - ta96silver
Apr 2016 - $27.00
The main attraction to this park is the superb hot springs fed pool complex. Excellent. Older park with majority of permanent casistas. Numerous ones showing their age as are most residents. Very nice Chapel services dyring peak season. Not a family or kid friendly park. RV sites are sand, not very level but adequate. Site 293 is larger than most but not at all level. You have to back over high curbs on most RV sites. No shower/ restrooms except in pool area, which have been remodeled and are kept very clean. Deck area around water complex needs refurbished. Must wear shoes due to small stones. Close to Palm Springs attractions and shopping. Discount was good. Would not pay high monthly or annual rate. - venice
Apr 2016 - $17.00
Price was excellent for what is offered. The only pool is good, thermal pools excellent. Park very well maintained for its age. Mini golf is toughest ever encountered and in need of renovation. Only one bath house for 300+ sites. Only 2 toilets in men's room. 2 pool tables are in fair condition. Park shuts down end of April so while we were staying there we no activities. This park is geared for seasonal seniors. Not really family or kid friendly. Staff excellent. Sites mostly level and larger than most, and many are 50 amp. No picnic tables. No store. Only a soda machine. No run down units on premises. - venice
Mar 2016 - $18.00
We have stayed there 3 times this winter and it is a wonderful park, everything is very clean and well kept. Most of the staff are work campers and all we have dealt with are very friendly. The nightly fee through RPI is $15.00 per night plus a $3.00 per night resort fee. - mgalex
Mar 2016 - $22.00
Old park, good for an overnighter, not a stay.
Dirt lots, no patios. Low-class. Lots of coming and going, noisy, no peace.
Inadequate amount of showers and washing machines for the amount of sites. Showers in disrepair, backing up.
Was it not for the discount off the regular rate, it would have been a total rip-off. So with the discount we only paid around $22 which is all the place was worth.
Some very friendly staff, some not so much.
No free wi-fi (seriously????) - RobertIsMyName
Mar 2013 - $20.00
An oasis in the middle of the desert. Palm trees, golf course, nice lake, swimming pool, and friendly management. It can't be seen from the freeway. It was a pleasant surprise when we saw up close. Full amenities were offered, but we only dry camped over night. Seemed very focused for seniors. Radio signals are faint, the closest gas is 20 miles away, and closest grocery store is about 40 miles away. Manager says it is 80% empty in the summer. I can see why! - zzzya
Jan 2012 - $30.00
Not a 5 star park but a wonderful park for those escaping the snow and wanting to see southern California. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi, all natural hot springs. Management and staff are wonderful. - carmen33
