Feb 2017 - $30.00
This park continues to age and reflect poor cleaning by staff. The facilities are crumbling apart and are a disgrace for a Government park. The host workers basically work at the entry kiosk but don't work in the park itself. On one day I asked a host if it was possible to have the garbage picked up near our site. This was left by a previous camper. The host said it wasn't in their job description and I would need to take it to the dumpster myself as there were no staff to do this. This park used to be a jewel but has become very sad. We have decided to not support this park until the facilities improve and they get some employees to manage the duties. For the price you pay here it is absolutely the worst Riverside County Park hands down! - RV Dog
Jan 2016 - $30.00
In just a few minutes you are away from the crowds. This little gem was a pleasant surprise. Pet friendly (but there is a $2.00 a day fee) with the water reservoir right outside your site. This recreation area has dry camp, equestrian and electric. We originally were going to stay for 2 days...but added 4 more on. A quiet oasis except for the sounds of the Sheriff's gun range at night. We really enjoyed our stay here. Lot spacing was very close with sunny/open exposure. The site surface was gravel. - SSW69
Jan 2016 - $22.00
Very nice, quiet county park alongside a lake. Sites are back-in, packed sand with picnic tables and fire pits. Water and electric only. Wifi only in small gazebo at entrance to campground. Campground hosts and rangers friendly and helpful. Verizon signal good. Would definitely stay here again. - Budapest
May 2017 - $20.00
Great check-in experience. Easy to park my 36ft fifth wheel and truck. 50 amp power for twin ACs (It was warm here) Restaurants in nearby Mecca. It's away from the I-10 freeway but on a well used highway. We would return whenever in the area. - Jake the plumber
Mar 2017 - $23.00
We stayed here one week and the price reflects the rate with the Passport America discount. This was one of the friendliest check-ins we've ever had. There was an escort to the site who told us about the hook ups and invited us to pick fruit from the many fruit trees on the property. The hook ups were located closer to the back of each site. It was suggested that we might want to buy bottled water to drink since the water system has levels of fluoride and arsenic above the drinking water standard. Interior roads are asphalt and the park is big rig friendly. The concrete slab is long enough to park the RV and all sites appeared to be relatively level. Cars are parked on grass, either behind or in front of the RV. The laundry room, restrooms and showers were clean each time I (female) used them. The laundry room was smallish, with three washers and two dryers. The door labeled "restrooms" is where you enter for restrooms, showers and laundry, plus you can access the pool as well. The pool was clean, but cool. The hot tub was warmer. The grounds were well maintained. There is a pond with a fountain in the center of the park. There is a tennis court. Although I didn't see a fenced pet area, there are plenty of areas to walk pets. Some sites are a bit closer than others. There was no picnic table nor fire pit at the sites. There appeared to be some permanents, but all sites were neat. We would definitely stay again if passing through the area. - Guinness
Oct 2016 - $20.00
We just stopped here for one night and were pleasantly surprised. Nice long pull thru spots with grass, lemon and palm trees. All the facilities are well kept, pool, hot tub, free fishing pond and very nice rec room.
The park is under new management, and lots of improvements are under way.
We would definitely stay here longer if we had known about this park. - pheasantplucker57
Jan 2014 - $25.00
Gated, over 55, no pets, 3 pools park. Well suited for stays of a month or more. Rate entered is based on the monthly rate. Each lot is individually owned and rental can be arranged direct with the owner or by contacting the realtor. We have stayed here through 4 winter seasons (Lot 178) and would not stay anywhere else. Friendly people, beautiful park with all the facilities you need. And plenty of park activities to keep you busy. - GGF
Mar 2017 - $75.00
This is a very nice park, but not in a great area of the valley. However it is fully gated so overall, quite secure. They have a great regular clientele that are really friendly and welcome newcomers. Don't stay in sites that back along the park with houses on the other side because many of them have dogs that bark at all hours and the stupid city of Indio won't actually do anything about it, even when dogs are abused, locked up outside, and suffering - god knows, we tried several times to get them to do something... - AMJNMAC1
Mar 2017 - $60.00
Park has nice facilities. No cable, but major tv stations on over the air tv. Internet worked flawlessly! Variety of sites available. We stayed in site 93 with our fifth wheel. Some sites more spacious than others. Nice wide paved streets are a plus. Be sure to ask when booking. Nice park. We would stay here again. - R&M
Feb 2017 - $67.00
We stayed for four nights at the beginning of February. Entry was easy, roads and site easily large enough to accommodate our 47' motor home. Our site had two concrete pads, one for the rig and the other to park our car. We backed onto a stream, a few trees and well manicured lawn. It was quiet at night, the park is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely repeat. - BHam
Nov 2016 - $25.00
We were here for a weekend square dance event. We had "daisy chain" water. We had 50 amp electric with steady service. This is the third year we have stayed here: first year 30 amp service; last year and this year 50 amp. We were parked on a concrete "street" with the power pedestal right beside the concrete.
There is a dump station. We arrived with empty holding tanks and used water conservatively so we did not need to dump before we left.
It is easy to get to the fairgrounds from I-10 even when towing. - skigramp
Jan 2013 - $25.00
We stayed with a rally, so we were in the 30 amp, no water or sewer hook-ups. There were some FHU sites, which we would use if not with a rally. Good place to stay as it is right in town. The FHU sits are between trees and have shade. Would be great for a short stay. - Deniselg
Apr 2011 - $25.00
Great overnight stop. Parking in a fairgrounds parking lot so no grass. Power was fine. Fairgrounds staff working the grounds were wonderful. Close to lots of things: Palm Springs, La Quinta, great eating places, shopping. Gate protected at night. Air card excellent. No cable TV but antenna coverage good. Room to ride around the fairgrounds on a bike. Interesting Moroccan/Arabic architecture to the fairgrounds itself. Easy in, easy out. The weather was windy, windy, windy, more than normal they said. We would stay here again. - sparky59
Feb 2013 - $1.00
We stayed two nights two weeks apart. Both times we stayed at the far edge away from the freeway and did not hear any freeway noise. There are street/flood lights that provide enough light to walk your dogs at night and see what is going on around you. You can park close to the road along with most other campers or stay further out on the fringe and keep some space between you an others. There was no problem finding a flat spot to park, and our neighbors were quiet. I like this parking lot for one or two night stays and will use it again. - AGBAT
Jan 2012 - $1.00
This huge parking area is a handy stop that we used overnight when having our RV serviced nearby. We're told that some people stay here a month or more and set up picnic tables etc., and no one keeps track of who comes and goes. Plenty of room. There's nothing but a huge packed-dirt lot (with the casino a short walk away) so it's not for us except to tide us over for a night or two, but it's great for that. And at free it saved us roughly $50. - John Mosley
Nov 2009 - $0.00
We camped here for two nights. The parking area is a gravel area across the street from the casino. This is just a parking area which has signs "No Overnight Camping" but when you call security at the number listed they say to camp as long as you wish. They do want you to come to the casino and try your luck. There are fine restaurants there. The experience here is totally free dry camping with others camped nearby. There is no dumpster for trash so just take it to your next stop. Since the parking is close to the Interstate, it can be noisy. We would stay here again. - Kent and Margaret
Jan 2017 - $140.00
Incredible resort! Great par 3 golf course, waterways for electric boats, pools, tennis, fitness center and 5 star restaurant. We renter for an entire season before we bought. Many lots have beautiful build outs with enclosed living areas. Be advised they only allow newer class A RVs - Karens BAM
Oct 2016 - $140.00
Thus is the second time we stayed here. This time it was for 4 nights for the Desert Time concert. When we made our reservation they told us there was an additional charge of $40 per night during any concerts at Coachellla Polo Fields. They also said the clubhouse would be closed since they reopen for general use November 1. This is a very nice park with about 400 spaces most are privately owned buy many are available for rent. Next time were in the area we will stay here if it's available. - BillP
May 2015 - $115.00
This is an unbelievable RV resort. Absolutely beautiful property with ALL of the amenities. We stayed during the off season and the resort was nearly deserted and 105 degrees during the day. We didn't mind though since we had the entire pool to ourselves. Since this was the off-season, the restaurant was closed and the pool area was dirty but the actual pool was clean. The fitness center, restrooms and remaining grounds were immaculate. - Tony ML
Mar 2016 - $137.00
This is an extremely high end RV Resort. We stayed at a Gold Site by the Golf Course. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because they do not have WiFi. Not at all. These sites are all owned and they rent them out when the owners at not here, (the owners get some of the rental money). Our site was the best we have ever had. They had outside BBQ, Stove, Refrig, serving area, large patio table with 6 chairs, lounge chairs and more. Just beautiful. If you can afford it, this is a must do at least once. - RVpartyanimal
Nov 2015 - $105.00
This place is over priced for what you get. I get it, many of the folks here own their site and come and go as they please but in quiet times they rent out their sites. The park had many empty spaces in November and I suppose they get busier after Christmas.
We stayed 4 nights and found this place lacking on several fronts. We stayed in site 104, okay site but worth about 2/3rds of what they charge. Sewer smell....not good at all. On calm nights one would think a place of this caliber would have this under control. Not so. WiFi. Such a simple promise and such a simple service to deliver. It worked for about 2 hours on Monday morning. That's it. The front end promised that they called someone. Didn't work on Tuesday or Wednesday. The minute you check in they pre-authorize a $25 cleaning fee in the event you leave a drop of oil on the pad when you leave! The outdoor kitchen at our site was in sad shape, didn't use it.
If you want to pay the price, your call but plenty of options in the area which are better value....enjoy. - hrw
Oct 2015 - $37.00
The park lots are owned by residents who have the option of renting the lots out through the management office, or directly to a renter. I was originally an owner who sold my lot due to what I perceived unscrupulous actions of the HOA Board and park management as applied to renters. If you rent directly from an owner, the park charges an additional $12 a day management fee.
Lot spacing is spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is concrete and features a picnic table. - flsts97
Mar 2016 - $33.00
Rate reflects daily rental rate of $30 plus elec. This 55+ park started out as an RV resort many years ago and has now converted to mostly park models as most lot owners abandoned the RV lifestyle. Some lots are available for rent, mostly monthly, some weekly if available. There are instructions and a link on their website regarding how to contact the owners of RV lots available for rent.
Positives - this resort is very clean and well maintained with green grass, Palm trees, flowers, landscaping and water features throughout the park. The going rate here of $900 per month is a lot less than many other higher end resorts in the area so is a good value. We stayed in site 243 which is located among a group of RV sites. Roomy concrete pad right across from one of the 6 pools/restroom/laundry facilities (very clean). The people we met while here were all very friendly. Negatives - This park is on the edge of town, some higher end housing but some sketchy areas nearby as well. There is an open desert area across the street. It gets very windy here and the sand can blow around. Also, this is NOT a dog friendly park. You have to take your dogs out of the front gate to do their business which is not convenient. Our site was fairly close to the front gate but was still a pain. Lastly, for some the esthetics of camping among park models can detract from the overall RV experience. - Nautical Wheelers
Mar 2015 - $30.00
This is a very very nice RV park. The grounds are beautiful and there is a gated entrance for security. There are several pools and bathhouses throughout the park. Everything is very clean and manicured. Staff is very friendly. Great Verizon service. This park has a lot of park models that are all well kept. Sites are level cement pads, somewhat narrow, however some are located right on the golf green and even though you may be between 2 park models they feel spacious. People are very friendly. I highly recommend this park. - SNL
Oct 2010 - $23.00
I stayed in this resort most of November. The resort is mostly park models. I was told by a friend to contact a local realtor (Sue Greene [email@example.com]). She gave me the names of 4 people who had RV pads for rent. I rented from one of them. A nose-in to a lake. I was pleased with the amenities. I will return. The rate of $23 was based upon a monthly rate of $700. In high season it is more like $1000+ per month. - bradydane2009
Feb 2017 - $22.00
Elks members only. Reservations accepted. Helpful hosts provided assistance with backing into site. All sites are back-in. 30 amp electric and water only, but there is a dump on site. We stayed one night, so I'm not sure if there is a maximum stay limit. Active friendly lodge. - 15243
Mar 2016 - $22.00
We stay at this Elks Lodge every time we are in the area for a few days. Primarily because it is close to people we are visiting, close to activities we enjoy, and you can't beat the price! The hosts are always very friendly and accommodating. It is asphalt/gravel parking and the spots are pretty close together. We have a 40 foot rig and have never had a problem finding a spot that works. We will stay there again next trip. - Sally Chew
Jan 2015 - $22.00
Camping is restricted to current Elks members. Water and Electric Sites. On-site dump station. Only a few of the 30 sites can accommodate big rigs. There is an overflow area for dry camping. Extremely busy Jan-March. Reservations are allowed. Call lodge to get the current camp host's number. No reservations needed off season. - lmg
