Overall Rating:

First off this is in no way a "resort." A resort has amenities, and activities. This place has nothing but a small pool. The website is very deceiving, it shows beautiful pictures of guests sitting on a shaded patio sipping wine, and tells you about their wonderful wine tasting bar. We fell for it. However when we go there, on a Wednesday afternoon the patio was closed and there was no wine tasting. Also there is no cable TV and the young women working the counter didn't have any idea what the local channels were. The roads are gravel and very dusty. On the positive side, check in was easy, the young women checking us in was pleasant, the space was wide and long enough that I didn't have to unhook my truck for the night, the site was level, all of the sites are in the shade, all of the sites have grass, it was very quite, good location just 1/2 mile off the freeway. So we would stay there again for a night, but lower our expectations. We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

$48 for nightly rate... we paid $53 for the "Premium" spot! It was worth the 5 bucks, as you are not sandwiched in between others all in a row. The check in was fast and courteous. Did not swim but the pool look clean and inviting. We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

I don't know how you could call this a Resort. We stayed in October. Called to make a reservation driving in, provided cc number. When we arrived and picked up the envelope at approx 4:30 office and store were closed, no receipt in envelope. Tried three times in the morning 8:00, 8:30a, am and again at 9:30 - still no one in office. When I finally got through to a women, I asked for a receipt and said we had tried a number of times but the office was always closed, her comment was we are hands on and have other things to do. The only paved road is the entrance, all sites and internal roads are loose and sparse gravel. Spaces are narrow, some have drop offs on one side, pool was dirty. We only stayed the one night - only stay here if the last resort. The only good thing was the restaurant that everyone mentioned in Orland, it was great. Also what good is it having a store if it is never open! We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful little Park in an area that most people would use for overnights only. They have a unique layout which has a 15ft heavily shaded area of grass between two very long pull through sites.( all sites are pull through) This leaves the rigs to access hookups from a conveniently placed center tower. Because it is mostly overnighters the owner attempts to stagger units to allow for the most privacy. Verizon and AT&T had great service so we did not use their internet connection. There was a large number of OTA television stations. The pool looked very inviting as this is a traditionally very hot area. It has very convenient on and off access from the interstate along a somewhat heavily traveled local road about 1/2 mile back. Traffic noise was heard early in the morning but was not a problem. It is too bad that this park is not located closer to an area with more reason to stay. The cost for just an overnight is on the high side but the park is worth the money due to the lovely setting and maintenance. We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

we stayed here for a month. Which reflects the cost of $475 + elect. All the other reviews are right on. I had a problem with my RV electric system. The owner directed me to a great repairman which fixed our difficult problem in a short time. The owner made a follow up call to see all was taken care of. I would definitely would return. most of the people are overnighters. A few long term RVs are off to the side of the park. All seem to be almost new units. This is a noise free campground. We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Eat at Farwood Restaurant for a good Steak dinner. The Restaurant called "I-5" is great for American dishes. Service is slow but friendly and I still enjoyed it.

Parkway is a lovely family owned resort, very well cared for and with excellent customer service. The sites are nice sized, have beautiful mature trees and plantings between many of the sites, and flowers everywhere. The pool was an unexpected delight. Laundry and restrooms clean and well maintained. We will definitely be stopping in here again. We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. We got a large pull-through that was long but not really wide. Paired power outlets with the next site, which wasn't occupied while we were there. Sites and roads were wet and sloppy but to be fair the area has had a huge amount of rain. Excellent wi-fi which was nice for a change. Easy access just off of I-5. Plenty of nearby gas stations and restaurants. We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Free good WiFi, lots of HD receiving on our antenna. Swimming pool but closes (to cold). Nice pull thrus under trees, with great grassy sites. It is close and east from the interstate, only 2 miles so very very quiet. We sure come back, no trains, no traffic just rv'ing. Great place to stay for one or two nights. The Parkway for Sacramento Valley Speedway accommodations.

We always stay at The Parkway RV Resort during our Mini Stock, Mini Truck, Mini Mods, Hobby Stock, Wingless Sprints, Demo Derby, and Street Stock fall excursion racing at Sacramento Valley Speedway, over there in Orland, California.

So peaceful and quiet at The Parkway, after a long day at our SVS races. Always friendly and pleasant folks there too. Be sure to relax at their nice swimming pool, and around The Parkway Fire Pit at night. Have a cold one with the boys! We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Tent.

We were just overnight. Sites were roomy, staff was friendly, park was clean and not on freeway. Wi-Fi was good for a park, no cable but air antenna was great as would be satellite if I felt like hooking up. We will return when traveling through this area. This is an old KOA with pull-thru sites. As others have said it's away from the interstate so it is very quiet. The people are very friendly and helpful and they're doing a great job of maintaining the place. When we were here the entire campground was maybe 25% full, yet they put someone right next door to us using the old shared hookup idea that KOA came up with 25 years ago. I don't appreciate having someone 5 feet from my trailer in a campground that's primarily empty. For that reason we won't return. We camped at The Parkway RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
