Great for an overnight, out of town. Quiet and hardly any 101 road noise. Book in advance. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Very nice facility. Nothing fancy but well maintained. The grounds workers are out working every day and it shows. Clean restrooms and showers. The staff are friendly and take a sincere interest in how things are going for you. The wifi was terrific for the first several days and then slowed. Two bars on Verizon most of the time. This "ranch" is out in the countryside with views of the rolling hills and vineyards but just a ten minute drive to Paso Robles downtown which is nice with shops and good restaurants around a large town green. Nice walking path around the park for dog walking. There is also a very tiny, fenced dog exercise area that was hardly worth the effort to build. It is about the size of three large dog crates. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are more acres of vineyards here than Napa but the area is not as "touristy." Come here for a more laid back experience. 45 minute drive to Hearst castle, San Simeon (giant elephant seals on the beach), quaint village of Cambria. If you like to take your dog to dog parks, there is Sherwood Park, a very nice and large dog park about a 15 minute drive away.

Although just off Hwy 101, it's up and over a hill which cuts down on road noise. Although there is a not-so-clean pool and a game room, this park doesn't have a resort feel (or price). For us, a good place to camp out while visiting wineries for a couple days. Good wifi, good Verizon. Friendly locals and some full-timers here. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Pick up a Paso Robles winery guide at the office, choose one with picnic facilities and pack a lunch. We like Tablas Creek - a bit of a drive but scenic all the way.

Very friendly manager or owner. Spaces pretty narrow but very long with nice trees. Full hookups. Pull through. Picnic table. Very clean and neat park. Restrooms large and immaculate though not fancy. Showers spacious with bench and table. Near Cambria. There is a pool, but we did not check it out. Would definitely stay here again. I recommend this park. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park and we would stay again. We were in a pullthrough which was long enough for our 38 foot fifth wheel and HDT plus the Jeep alongside. There is not much space between sites but it is nice grass with some nice shade trees. Office staff was very friendly and the manager is on site. Minimal road noise; Verizon worked well. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice rv campground. All employees are very nice and helpful. There is a fenced in pet area. The laundry room is kept clean. There is a very nice clean swimming pool. There are shade trees. We stayed there in a 5th wheel trailer with a pull thru site, with nice shade trees, grass and rock driveway/parking and paved roads. It is located only a couple minutes from the town of Paso Robles. They have soda machines, ice etc. This is a great campsite. No problem getting our Satellite set up with the shade trees. It is a very safe and clean campground. I would recommend everyone camp here. Stopped for a couple of days, found it to be a very nice little RV park. Right off the 101. Sites are gravel, but level. Would recommend board under jacks. FHU good voltage and water pressure. Sewer opening was recessed into cement, had to put a couple of boards on top of the hose to hold down. Dog off leash area dirt and very small. Pull through sites are N/S configuration, and are a bit close. Back in's are slanted and seem easy enough. There are a few full time residents here, but no problem. Very good wifi at this park. Verizon and T-Mobile signals good. Laundry small but neat and cheap. Nice grass areas for each campsite. Park owner very nice and helpful. No escort to site, but it is a very small park. Roads are wide with easy turns. Most sites are sat friendly. Our site was long enough to keep the toad hooked up. As said before, a left turn out of the park is challenging, just take your time as there is a merge lane to swing into on left turns. Would stay here again. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay at the Paso Robles RV Ranch. I is close to I-101 which has moderate traffic. Although we could hear the traffic, it was not bothersome. We had a very nice site shady site which backed up to a wooded area with a view of a meadow. The site was clean gravel with full hookups. Our 18 foot trailer fit nicely in the space. Our site was E2. Our camping objective was to be close to the Central Coast Wine Country and got good advice from the camp host on where get the best wine tasting experience complete with maps of the area. Although we did not swim in the campground pool, it would be great to cool off in during the Paso Robles hot summers. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Tour the area Missions (San Miguel and San Antonio), wine tasting, partake of Paso Robles fine restaurants and gift shops. Paso Robles has a very nice central park for picknicking. It also has a playground. Boating, swimming and fishing on Lake Naciemento. Hiking.

Agree with previous reviews regarding full timers keeping it very tidy and clean. HAD TO TAKE DOG TO VET AND MANY CAMPERS CHECKED ON HER STATUS. Restrooms were spaciuos and clean. Site was large with lot of grass. Lot of room was walking the dogs. Near wineries and town. Highly recommend. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

This is a meticulous maintained campground that we have spent several months at over the past few years. Our latest stay was for two months. The park is the best value for the area, and while it is certainly not a resort, it is nicely situated with a country feel with easy access to the 101 freeway. Site space varies, but ours was large enough for our large fifth wheel, two vehicles and our kayaks. Despite its proximity to 101, road and train noise was minimal.

We plan to come back here as often as we can when we are in the area. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.
