Very clean park with nice facilities and well-maintained landscaping. Sites are concrete pads and are pretty close together. Wifi is very slow (even for downloading mail) and can be tricky to sign into. Cable TV is not the channels on the sheet they give you, and there are no news channels available. Pool and hot tub are kept clean. Upper mesa will be noisy as it is right next to the main road. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Short drives to many great wineries in this region which is on a par with the Napa Valley. Daou has the best views of any winery, but it is quite expensive for tasting.

This is a beautiful park, great landscaping and facilities. Staff professional and friendly. This park is really a cut above. This site was on a small ravine in the park. One space next to us on port side. Nearest to rear was 100 yards, nearest to starboard 40 yards. Our trailer is 27 feet and barely fit lengthwise. Has large wood patio and has table and chairs. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wife and I stayed for 6 nights in our 40' toyhauler. We were in one of the Premium pull-throughs right by the office. The sites are pretty cozy. There are only a couple in the whole park that really have any elbow room. The sites where we were at are back to back....that means that your door faces your neighbors door. Good if you've got nice neighbors, otherwise not so much. We were blessed with good neighbors! Having said that, we enjoyed our time here. The staff was VERY friendly. Facilities are spotless. 24/7 laundry. Nice looking pool and hot tub (although we didn't use it). 3 dog runs. VERY busy on the weekend, but even so, it was pretty quiet at night. Free shuttle to local wineries. We will definitely return, but will be very careful about which spaces we choose. Note that this is now a Sun Resort. They have two in PR.....this one is NOT on the freeway. Good base for touring the area. Recommend. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We've stayed here multiple times. However, we feel this park is becoming slightly tired. On the upper tier the lovely concrete sites are surrounded by dirt and/or dust. Additionally, if one has a 45' motorhome there is very little parking for ones towed vehicle. Sadly one member of the staff showed us the wrong way to come into our site and we had to circle around very tight corners to get where we belonged. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park was overpriced for such poor sites. The $56 rate was the normal Good Sam rate but in the Harvest weekend the price was $89! They wanted to charge $8 more as they raise the rates when there is competition for the few remaining sites! We were going to leave but they found a way to give us an additional discount (first visit) so the rate remained $89.

The sites were pull-in which means that there are 2 RVs per driveway. You are right next to the person in front of you! The park does have a nice pool area and a wine tasting during the Harvest fest. Due to the high rates for such close sites, we would not stay here again. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park misses the mark. Located in Paso and the heart of wine country. You would think they would push wine and the area. The park has 2 exceptiional club houses that are not used. An outside stage area not used. An outside bar that is not used. A staff that is not trained or understand business. The park misses the mark by not using ANY of their assets. The premium area was nearly empty and you would think they would offer an upgrade from deluxe or regular sites but they missed that. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park, but not worth the price. We used Passport America discount one night. Level spaces with grass between sites. Nice pool area. This place gets very crowded on the weekends, with little space to park a towed. We parked in a parking lot at the end of our street. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Absolutely beautiful park and a wonderful location for wine tasting in the area, but just way to expensive. The sites are relatively close together. Most of the sites are "buddy" sites so that your doors face each other, but if both RVs have slides there isn't much room left. We were not able to put our awning out because our neighbor's was out and there wasn't room. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This resort, while adding new amenities in the last couple of years, has had a decline in the quality of spaces. What used to be lush grass between 4pack sites is now half grass half dirt. It's a huge problem when the sprinklers water the dirt at night. Major mud mess tracked into my brand new rig. Plus there is major overspray that got water half way up my RV! I mentioned it to the staff and they said they were aware. And while they'd like to fix it, it's not in the budget. Huh? Fix the basics rather than adding the frills of bars and cottages. Stayed here for 5 nights absolutely no complaints! Clean well managed beautiful grounds. Stayed in site 62 backed up to vineyards some road noise from Hwy 46 at times not bad. If you don't want truck noise stay below the upper hill is nice but RIGHT against freeway! Adult hottub and pool are lovely! Wine and beer garden open thurs-sun very lovely! Would definitely stay here again. Only complaint was the wind and long drive from NorCal!! Great staff! We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Was stopping for a overnight while on the move (booked 2 nights - as like a little longer rest on the drive). California prices is the only thing I can say (am spoiled by years of work camping and housing allowances I guess). It was right on my route but still a way off the beaten path and I think pricey for the location. I stayed in the "new" section but was still a little tight getting the camper out of the pull thru. Sites could have been a little farther spaced but were well equipped. Alas didn't use any facilities - missed out on the happy hour. Another one that was a little hard on the wallet. Had a flat, level, dirt site with grass on one side and small hedges on the other side. There were new, plastic, picnic tables and a BBQ for shared usage between sites. We were in a pull thru site that was divided in half. I was able to pull through since there was no one in the site. If the site was partially occupied, this would be a back in site. We over looked a vineyard. There was definitely road noise and noise from small air planes flying over but it was not a problem to tune out. The swimming pool, spa, and on site bar was very nice. Would return with the Passport America discount. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful resort with plenty of amenities. In the heart of wine country, you're sitting beside wineries & some of the most incredible dining experiences ever! Close enough to the coast to get there in well under an hour, and experience the elephant seal habitat, or just a calming beach walk. If I have anything negative to say, it's with respect to the size of our site & the price we paid for it. $60 during the week, $69 on weekends with our discount. Our site was JUST big enough for our 44' motorhome - site length was 45'. The site appears to be a pull-through that they've divided in half. It's what we typically are given for our exclusive use in other parks. But we were told to pull in halfway only, which of course, we did. In spite of the minor inconvenience of a short site, we'd definitely stay here again. Not a cheap resort, but we loved the location, the cleanliness, the upscale surroundings. You get what you pay for, ultimately! This is a very busy resort, so make sure you call ahead. I believe that's part of the reason we were given a small site - not enough notice! We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.
