The GOOD: Tubing down the river was the best part. The people working there were friendly. The BAD: Otherwise the place was full of visitors that can be described as "THUGS FOR LIFE." Campsites were overcrowded. People were chopping wood at 11:30 pm outside our window. Blaring Mexican music was a common occurrence. The bathrooms were filthy. Human excrement in the urinals, which were NOT cleaned. The showers were ONLY cold water with NO shower heads, just a stream shooting out of a straight pipe. There were not nearly enough bathrooms for the number of people in the park. Electrical hookups were shady at best. Our breakers kept popping and it was BARELY enough to keep the RV cool. SUMMATION: We had a good time regardless of the conditions. But I doubt we will be back, as there are plenty of other places in southern California that offer better camping conditions. We camped at La Jolla Indian Reservation Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
