OK park but very tight quarters. Everything worked great, people are friendly, etc. but you are parked on gravel very close together. Pretty normal for beach camping in CA. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

San Luis Obispo Thursday Farmer's Market is fun. Madonna Inn worth a visit for the history and deserts. Lots of wineries and of course the great beach.

This park consists of those who have their rigs brought in (either shareholders or timeshare owners) and those that bring their own rigs. The ones that stay here all the time don't think that rules apply to them and they own the place (well some really do own a share). Also, the office does a poor job of placing rigs either out of ignorance or impassive. As we were put in a narrow site with 2 other 4 slide rigs (and vehicles) while 1/3 of the park was empty. Added to this is your neighbors fire pit will be less than 3 feet from your rig. However, this park is all about location, location, location. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

According to other reviews I was expecting more of a high end type resort but this was pretty much just an average campground. Roads are paved, sites are gravel without delineation from neighbors. Utilities good as was WiFi. Lots of highway noise during different times of day. Restaurant on site and food pretty good and reasonable. Beach is a decent hike to get to. Security very good. Fire pits at each site and many people use them. Probably the busiest RV park I've ever stayed in with people moving in and out non stop. Every employee I talked to very polite and helpful. East to navigate to resort on busy streets. Would stay again. Sites are all back in but large enough for Rv and two full size vehicles. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Camp spots are close and on dirt. We could hear kids next door bouncing around in their 5th wheel. Facilities are good. Great town. Campground close to everything you need. Wifi really poor. We would stop again as convenient for our travels. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed 3 nights. The happy hour at the grill was good. Deserts were awesome. Sites are adequate if your neighbors are friendly, and courteous, and they were for us. There was room for most cars off the pavement. All utilities worked and were convenient. There are paths from the resort to the beach and a lookout tower that gives a wonderful view out of the wind. We would stay again. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Check in quick, efficient and very friendly. Our site was ready, fire pit clean and ground raked. Nice pad and grassy area. Grounds immaculate and constantly maintained. Considering the size of the park (and it was full) it was quiet and we felt comfortable with 24 hour security and code to get in gates. Easy walk to beach and nice enclosed observation decks. Definitely will come back. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Large RV park in Pismo Beach. Very good location. Site had a restaurant and pool, but we didn't use either of them (restaurant was closed for the Holidays and it was too cold for the pool). Helpful friendly staff. Park was very clean and organized. Spaces were very adequate, although it was pretty much "wide open" without any separation barriers between units. The half of the park that had long-term units were concrete pads. the half that was designated transient was mostly gravel. Although entire park looked flat, we had one of the few sites that had enough slope to require leveling blocks. Easy walk into downtown and the shops and restaurants that are there. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a large RV park on the coast just 3 or 4 blocks south of downtown Pismo Beach. It has great facilities, pool, mini-golf, a general store and on-site restaurant. While it isn't exactly "on the beach" you have direct access to the sand where you are separated from the ocean by a tide pool/river. You can get on the beach by walking one block north of the resort. The sites are pretty much all back in with full hookups. The driveways are asphalt and site pads are asphalt and gritty gravel/dust. Your neighbors are close. The bathrooms are kept clean and are conveniently located. We paid $58.24 per night. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very clean and well maintained park. 24 hr security around park and entrance. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. lots of activities. Even if the park is full (which is most the time) at 10pm all is quiet! Make your reservations as far in advance as possible and they will try to place you in your desired site. We were a bit shocked at the shear number of RV sites and number of people and kids all over the park but this was July 4th week. Once we got over the initial shock of the number of people, we grew to like this place a lot, although I would prefer to come in the offseason or bring the grandkids in the summer. Location, location! Right at the beach in Pismo and so there is great walking, swimming and a lot to do. Drove our beach to the dunes area and rode on the beach. Crazy number of RV campers on the beach down on Oceano. Staff was very nice and pool was kept very clean and opened promptly at 8 am. Mostly 5th wheelers and trailers. Were only a handful of motorhomes throughout the park. Would definitely come back! We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Good 4 wheeling on the dunes. Breakfast at the café was good. Had a nice meal at the Oyster Loft right at the base of the Pismo Pier. A bit pricey but excellent food and there was a more casual dining café below.

This is a great park for both kids and adults. The have numerous things for kids, inching games, basketball, shuffleboard, etc. Also, the park has direct beach access, with a clean-up area for people and dogs when you return from the beach. A store and a cafe are on site. The park is very clean and well maintained. The sites are a decent size. Some are gravel and some are dirt. My only complaint is that the roads are fairly narrow, and some cars tend to be parked partially on the road, making backing into your site a little difficult. I made it in one shot, but had two spotters helping me, as it was very tight. All sites are back-in and all have a table and a large fire-ring. Reservations are necessary here, as this is a very popular place. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

3 nights stay. Paid top rate for site next to electric box and busy Highway #1 (they call it Dolliver St. in their ad) and beside entry road. Beach only accessible with 10 minute walk, unlike their 3 min advertising. River separating resort from beach. Only 4 washroom buildings for 400 sites. Registration staff impersonal. Would stay here again if given better site. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on a buy 3 nights & get 4th night free. We ended up leaving after 3 days. If you like your space do not stay here. The spaces are so tight you can't safely use the provided fire pit. We started at sight 354 but saw sight 8 was available which was much better. They moved us willingly. It was still very tight but with an ocean view. Easy walk to down town or the ocean. On site restaurant was actually very good and reasonably priced. We will not return as the sites are to compact and close together. Site 1-4 and 8-12 are the best in the park for a view and some privacy. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of work being done on and around the Pismo Beach pier, but the plans are laid out for the public to view. Cute, but touristy shops close by along with good restaurants that have been operating in the area for a long time.
