Lakeshore Resort clearly caters to year-round or season-long residents. Most sites are occupied by long-term visitors, and facilities for the casual camper are sorely lacking. Bathrooms with flush toilets and shower, yet they looked as if nobody had taken a cleaning rag or mop to them in weeks. Trash dumpsters were overflowing. Electrical hookups were strung through the trees with what looked like extension cords. It was too much money for what was offered. We will not visit here again. - Labs

As of '11, the park got new owners. They have done a number of TLC improvements: more natural light in the restrooms, smoother/wider interior roads, and more pleasant interactions with the owners and staff. New owners were the best thing that ever happened to this park.
Satellite access is sometimes a challenge.
There isn't an off-leash area for the dogs but there is a large treed open field right outside the park that is conducive to letting dogs run a bit. - zen_letitbe

Great location in the Feather River Canyon. Lots of trees but no trouble getting satellite reception. The club house is small but adequate and the owners are great to work with. Plenty to see and do in the area. - UFO Pilot

A very clean and well maintained park with long pull-throughs and great spacing between paved sites. Lots of trees but well spaced so satellite reception was excellent. Very nice owners eager to provide local information. Great walking areas around the park. Quincy is a wonderful little town with lots of sightseeing all around. - WillieBilly

No management on site. Full of rude college students with no supervision. Speeding through the park is a big problem as the roads are dirt. Would never stay there again. - fulltimer52

We stay here often and have enjoyed the biking opportunities. Has lots of shade in tight spaces. Some of the spaces are easier to back into than others but not always available. Park backs up to bike path to the local Feather River College or into Quincy and fronts on to a creek. Has very rustic setting in the park and close to town (1/2 mile). - zen_letitbe
