Grassy areas between sites with picnic table. Dog runs are tiny, but you can walk your dog along the river. Wifi was poor. Very helpful staff. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We pulled in for one night, Good Friday, to find, as I would have suspected, that this beautiful resort is very popular with families with younger children and RV'ers looking like they could have been the loud party type, on at least this, a holiday weekend. Never heard the loud music or carrying on that I was concerned about. This appears to be a park that enforces its rules. The resort is just that. Beautiful with lots of extras. Many of the premium sites - gorgeous - could wind up being buddy sites so check with the office if this concerns you. The office staff is great as is everything about this resort. Very likely the nicest in the state of Jefferson. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walk to the very closest restaurant for a delicious breakfast. Maybe even a key lime pie!

River View sites are not level. Had to get extra blocks to level our 43' motor home - front tires were 4 inches off the ground. The river view is outstanding but there is no easy way to get down to the river. I was advised by a fellow camper that thieves walk along the rot iron fence and will hop the fence to steal anything not secured. Maintenance of the Park is outstanding and it is a beautiful place to stay. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was our third stay at this park. This is one of the "good ones" in our opinion. Very well kept grounds, good check-in and friendly folks that make it so. Spaces are level, good utility hookup posts. A little traffic noise as it is adjacent to I-5 but not enough to be bothersome or to keep you from resting well at night. We normally get a pull-thru space near to but not on the river which is further away from the traffic. Nice park to walk around in the evening. Not a destination park for us but certainly one that we like to use when traveling the I-5 corridor between Sacramento and Vancouver, WA to visit family. Will definitely be staying here again on future trips............... We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are two good restaurants within a short walking distance right outside the park itself. One is a Shari's that offers good breakfasts as well as lunch and dinner. The other is Luigi's Pizza & Pasta and THEY DELIVER right to your RV for a very small delivery charge. The pizza arrives hot and is one of the best in the area, you cannot eat just one slice and beats the Round Table up the street by a county mile..................

This was a very nice park but did fall short in a couple of areas. To get a 10 from me a private shower is a must, this place has shower stalls in the bathroom that were clean, but not private like some of the best parks we've rated. Secondly, the brochure shows ping pong as an amenity. We were able to get a new un-cracked ball at the counter but the paddles were torn up and should be thrown in the trash. The table could also use some attention. For the money spent here, they should strive for excellence. The internet was excellent; the sites have hookups on either side to enable you to pull or back in. Curbside trash service and propane pickup and filling is available. Fires are lit until 10pm and are cozy. They advertised coffee available until 10pm in the rec area but when we went back later in the evening (7pm) the coffee was all put away. The park sits on the Sacramento River but is fenced with a locked gate in back. To access the river you have to walk around the outside of the park. Because of the proximity to I-5 I suggest getting a site on the west side of the park. There was some train whistles now and then but not bad. This park is conveniently located next to a Sharis restaurant and a grocery store as well as other places within easy walking distance. We would return here and hope they pay a little more attention to detail so we could give a 9. No discounts are available if you reside in a riverside site. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great park with great amenities. At this park beside the Sacramento River you will find large pull-through sites with a concrete pad, grass between sites, a table, and full services. Coffee is served each morning in the clubhouse where you can watch tv, play pool, use the gym, soak in the spa, and read the paper. Nearby you can give your dog a bath at the specially-designed dog wash. The only drawback this time was the wind that was blowing from I-5. This made the park noisier than usual. We will certainly stay here again. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a nice pool and spa with a gas fire pit so even on a cool evening it is a pleasant place.

Rate shown includes Good Sam discount. This is a great park. Yes, it is right off of I-5, but the traffic noise was not an issue. We heard trains in the distance, but not close enough to be an issue either. This park is well cared for, the grounds and the buildings. We were just staying one night on our journey south, so wanted a quick in/out that did not require us to perform a major leveling operation and would also allow us to leave the tow hooked up for a quick getaway. We had a nice long and level pad that accommodated out 40' motorhome and tow. Wonderful bathrooms and showers, very clean and nice. We will definitely stay here again during our north/south travels. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rarely would I give a 10, but at Durango, everything is excellent, from check-in to the sites (wide concrete pads, very level) with nice grass, to the utility pedestals. A very nice pool area. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stopped here many times and we always enjoy it, especially because of the long spaces, wide open feel and neat and clean premises. Enjoyed our stay again. WiFi a little slow because park was full. Showers take a few minutes to warm up. Dog wash is still $5.00 which is a good reason to stop and wash a large dog. Food Maxx is within walking distance. Highly recommend to anyone in an RV. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is gorgeous...obvious pride in ownership...well looked after...large sites, paved roads and concrete pads to park unit...we were fortunate enough to be backed on to a pond with a fountain. Would definetly recommend. Only small drawback is utility post is about center of the pad...if your power is at the back you may need an extention cord or park may supply. Very nice park. Spacious sites. Easy pull throughs. Internet was adequate. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Clean and large. The grounds are very well maintained. Great stop over when heading up or down I-5. One of the nicest parks for spending a night or more. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is definitely a 10!!! Streets are wide, sites are paved, long & level. Grass is green. Good 50 amps. Good satellite reception. I could find no negatives about this park and it comes with a great price. We did not use any of their facilities, but everything looks clean & well kept. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. This was my 4th time at Durango. Normally the park has earned a 10+...the Wi-Fi was mostly slow if at all...and that was with everyone in my group (RVW). The Dog run surface was so powdery, that my normally white dog turned a chalky color and I had to bathe him...the powder blew in the air whenever he/I walked and billowed when he ran. Perhaps some fine pebbles or DG. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice RV Resort. Good space between sites. Large level site. Close to I-5 but our site was on the far side of the park so it was just fine. Lots of activities in the resort and beautiful views of the river. Walking distance to restaurants and large grocery store. Italian restaurant will deliver to your space and the food was great. Will come back to Red Bluff just to stay here. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.
