The lots are gravel and quite spacious and many have nice trees providing shade, lots of grass too! Picnic tables are all new, hookups all worked although cable reception was borderline useless & water went off for an hours or so. We arrived at 2:30 and the office was closed?? There is zero security here, anyone can come in and the lack of office staff adds to this feeling of insecurity. It's a shame as this older park has potential but we would not stay here again. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lock everything away at night as this park is completely open to anyone off the street and the lack of any staff "presence" adds to this feeling.

I can not believe the recent good reviews. This place is bordering on a dump. We were here two years ago and it was a dump then and the only thing that has improved is that the trees have been trimmed. The sites and roads are gravel and not very level. The picnic tables are at least ten years old and falling apart, someone painted some of them to try to make them look better, but they don't. We arrived on a Saturday at 3:10pm and the office was closed. Seriously, what RV park closes the office at 3pm on a weekend? If you need a place to stop for one night, this place is OK, but I wouldn't stay any longer than that. Next time I will probably look for a better place to stay. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

If you are looking in this area, stay in this park. It is right off the freeway and is great for a "city" RV park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are close together but easy to enter and exit. There are multiple shade trees which really help in the hot sun. There is an area for dogs and large expanse of grass where you can sit, kids can safely play etc. There is also a pool and laundromat. Internet is slow but very usable for "data." I wouldn't want to try streaming a movie. This is a great place for an overnight stay. There is some noise from the main city street nearby but it is livable. We are on a long trip so having a park that is easy to pull into, with level sites, made it perfect for our needs. (I tried to upload photos and will do so once I am able to resize them. It will be a few weeks. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a "Dollar General" market right outside the park. They will have everything you need for your stay. Bud's Jolly Cone, across the main street has a great menu and the prices are very reasonable. If you are "off schedule," call ahead. We called on the way and the staff said the spot was already open, so we arrived 2 hours early.

Nice quiet RV park away from I-5. self serve/self park and some of the paperwork missing from the entryway...need to call for restroom code and WiFi code (it works well) We did have a little bit of trouble navigating the roads. My advice would be to pick a place near the front of the park and not try to drive around thru the trees. Some full timers in the park, but no problems. Note on the map which sites are 50 amp before you park. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Motorhome.

Long pull thru sites, lots of trees and shade. Level, gravel sites with grass strip, concrete pad with picnic table. The Park is immaculate, the owners keep the grounds in excellent condition. Ask for 30amp or 50amp, with WiFi and cable TV. Dog area. Bathrooms and showers were clean, individual shower stalls with door and dressing area. Swimming pool. Owners are friendly and informative. Free cookies in the office. Quiet at night. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this park several times on our way north and south. They had a rally going on so no one in the office during the weekend. I'm not sure what the people below were complaining about - the park is easy to get into and out of, the sites are pretty level, and our only problem is making sure to get a site where we can get satellite reception. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Motorhome.

This could be a great place to stay but... office is hardly open (9-12/3-5 if you are lucky); the trees need trimming, there are way too many water leaks and sewerage issues; care is needed when pulling into/out of a space due to existing large trees; slides? You need extreme caution before opening. (Current park managers are not reliable in putting a large rig into a large spot - they are NOT RV people...); Wifi is sketchy; pool - take your chances; spots are not level but many OK...; if spot with street light, blackout curtains needed as lights are level with RV windows. Managers continue to park their personal vehicle at the entrance making it impossible for two rigs to pass. Owners need to replace current park managers for this park to survive! We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Red Bluff CA is a lovely city. Green Barn restaurant is within walking distance. I have stayed at this park a few times in years past but... this is my last until I know either current managers are gone or the park has new ownership! A sad sad state of affairs!

Very well maintained campground. The hosts are very friendly. Park has plenty of grass and large shade trees which can be a problem for satellite antenna's but the shade was very welcome. Cable was blurry but our own digital antenna did great receiving local channels. Very nice stay. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

If you are staying in the park 'short term' it's great! If you are staying a whole month or longer, find another park. The new husband/wife managers are not up to the job. The owners have allowed a once beautiful park to flounder. Rates are up yet the quality is down. Water leaks, pumps down (no water- now a common occurrence). Grounds are mud bogs with dying trees. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This could be a great park if it was maintained! (Imagine being told you have to rake leaves and maintain your space if a long-term visitor!) Be careful entering/exiting many spots. Large trees or lamp posts can be obstacles!

Tips for other Campers:

Raley's supermarket on the south end of town has an excellent selection, especially for anyone looking for organic and/or GF products. A visit to the Sacramento River Bend Outstanding Natural Area is well worth it if you like hiking, birding or mountain biking.

Good/great location and quiet. Park very clean except the tables and planters at sites need attention, water pressure low, power excellent since it was 109 here and you needed A/C. Cable is not worth the time 3 channels, use your antenna. Verizon and Mifi works great. Pool excellent. Office was very nice and helpful. Will come here again.
