Easy to get in/out. Interior roads are paved. Sites are paved. Utilities located mid-site and worked well but very low water pressure up on the hill. Very long site but very narrow. When we pulled in I had to park to allow room to put my slide out and not hit my neighbors awning that was fully extended. Free Wifi worked well. Verizon signal good. Some sites have picnic tables, ours did not. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here one night on a trip heading south on I-5. The park is convenient, and we'll stay here again for another one night stay. Sites are level on the top of a hill and are close together. The restrooms and showers were fine. We made a reservation and checked in after hours. We did visit the office the next morning to pay. The office staff were very friendly. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park has easy accessibility from I-5. The overnight sites are long narrow pull throughs on a hillside. It was easy to pull into our spot and leave. Hook ups were conveniently placed. I gave the below average rating because there was no place to sit, BBQ, etc. outside the motorhome. Sites were separated by narrow (8 feet) strips of grass that were greatly sloped. Way too steep for out door furniture. All of the sites, except for a couple at the top of the park were similar. We felt trapped inside the motorhome. Also the water pressure was terrible (about 20 psi). Cable TV was fine. If we were back in the Redding area we would look for another place to stay. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice long (70') tarmac sites with grass in between. Sites are narrow, but that's fine, they were level, quiet & clean. They are each higher/lower than the one next to it, so you get a since of extra space. Good cable & WiFi. Super nice staff. Easy on/off from Hwy 5. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stay here all the time when we travel to Redding. It's never over crowded always very clean, quiet. The staff was so accommodating on our last trip I had to write a review to thank them! We are families not cattle that will return over and over again when treated right. Thank you for taking the time to help make a plan for our stay that fits our families needs better. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Cabin.

They add $5 for electric, after tax our total was $25.30. Cashier friendly and efficient. Sites are built in 3 long rows sloping down a gentle slope, ez to navigate but are tight to neighboring site. Exiting our rv was awkward as the step was off the pavement as well as sloping down and into the neighboring site. Convenient for travelers on I-5. OK for overnight, freeway noise noticeable beginning at 6AM. Pool was nice, restrooms/showers nice and roomy. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff is the reason this is rated low. Park use to be full, now had 1/2 of the sites empty on a Sunday weekend. Fine for a one night stop, but we will no longer stop here on our way up or down I-5. Noise from highway was very loud. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.
Road leading to the park is horrible, go very slowly because apparently city doesn't like the business so no repairs on road are done.

Very professional, friendly staff. FHU 50 amp site was level even though this small park is on a hill. Sites are narrow but long enough for our 40' rig and toad. WIFI very good and included in the price. Passport America and Good Sam discounts are available but PA is only good for one night and you must make a reservation 24 hours in advance in order to obtain it. However, you can combine the GS & PA discounts if you plan ahead. We would return if in the area again. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.
Visit Shasta City & Shasta Dam for the free tour. Sundial Bridge is nearby and has a nice bike trail, path to walk.

We had pre booked from the UK with excellent communication. We arrived out of hours and the communication left for us to find our site made for an easy set up.
Spotlessly clean park which encouraged us to use other premier parks during our trip. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here just one night. Super easy access from the highway. The checkin took only a few seconds and the staff was super friendly and treated us like we were regulars. The park roads are easy to navigate as this is a small park. We had a pull through that was narrow but no issues. One highlight of this park is the wifi....it is the fastest we have ever had. 25-30mbs. I wish all parks were like this. This is a great place to stop through and we will be back. We camped here in a 42' fifth wheel. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a simple, clean, affordable stop. The staff is friendly, they offer a free basic continental breakfast (coffee, pastries, fruit), they do have a pool, pool table, and laundry facility as well. All sites are relatively level, paved, but a bit tight. We'd stay here again. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here in mid-May. Small campground with easy access off I-5. Directions provided are missing a street but signage as you get closer is excellent. Campground is on a hill but sites are level and nicely landscaped albeit a tad small. Just enough room to put out all slides and place a picnic table between. We were in one of the pull thrus and they are LONG. Very nice. Mgmnt was pleasant. The pool is not heated, just sayin'. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.
Sacramento River Trail from Turtle Bay exploration park and Sundial Bridge; free unless you want to go into the aquarium.
Shasta Lake dam; only eight miles from CG. Excellent views of Mt Shasta and Lake Shasta, nice for strolling or picnic too. Site offers tours of the dam.

Good choice for a night passing through. Make sure you get the top row, away from seasonals. Nothing fancy, but friendly staff and adequate sites. Near I5, but not too noisy. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.
If you are not looking for facilities, this is a great value. Follow your GPS around a few twists and turns, park is at end of road. Maybe a bit tight for big rigs, but not bad if you are careful. While on the side of a hill, the sites were level.

A nice place to stay but ask for the upper back lot to get as far away from the interstate noise as possible. The interstate is very close. Sites are paved and ours was perfectly level, our utilities all worked well, had great wifi service. Our only complaint was how close the sites were together, they were not spacious, but they did allow everthing to spread out. Management was very friendly and helpful. The park was very clean and nicely landscaped. We were only travelling through so we only stayed 2 nights, but we would stay there again. We stayed in a pull thru site in a 37' travel trailer and we could leave our pickup hooked on. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Enjoyed our overnight stay and as we were in the back rows noise was ok. Good wifi and great showers. Sites are narrow. Would stay here again. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.
Great Chinese restaurant just up the street.

Only about a mile to Mt Shasta mall, Costco, Walmart, easy access to freeway and downtown shops. The park is on a hill surrounded by many beautiful trees, but the Rv sites are spacious and open.Sage39 • April 2015
