Tough to rate. Office staff is very friendly and mostly helpful. New section is clean and generally easy to get around in. Pet friendly is a big plus. Tenants are also friendly and helpful. The park has esay access to US101 and Stanford Hospital is an easy 5 miles away. Only frustration is the WiFi. They use Tengo internet and access is hard to figure out. One time its easy, next time you can spend hours and not get anywhere. I asked the office about the issue and they just looked at the lights on the equipment and said it was working. Frustrating being near the heart of Silicone Vally and have that kind of internet issues. Note: next campground we visited also used Tengo internet and we had no problems logging on. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It was really hard for me to rate this park. The staff was super and very helpful when we ran into a problem. We only planned to stay a few nights, but when pulling out discovered our leaf springs were broken. That put us there several more days. They bathrooms were great; however, you have to pay a $25.00 key deposit, refundable at departure. We did not use the showers but they are right in the bathrooms - which are huge - and appeared to be very clean and nice. The spots are not large and there are few due to the amount of full timers there. They have the old part which is almost all full timers and the new part which has some space available for travelers. They have WiFi, but no cable. Very few amenities. The thing is - this is the only decent game in town and if you know anything about the San Fran Bay area, $60.00 per night is decent. The rate reflected is a week long stay rate. We would return here if we came back to the area, but due to the cost, will probably not drive this route again in our 5/w. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It is difficult to rate a park that has two very distinct sections, an old trailer park and a new RV park, and such is the case at Trailer Villa. Like most urban RV parks (this is our 83rd) they are old and most often have long-term and somewhat dilapidated trailers. But this park has added a new and very attractive RV section in the back with large sites and immaculate private bath/shower facilities. We stayed in both, the old part gets a 3 the new part 9-10. It is in an industrial section but not far from very chic San Francisco suburbs and great restaurants, shops etc and a 1/2 from the city. The staff are WONDERFUL and let us borrow their chairs and tables for our party. IN summary it is the BEST place to stay in the south SF bay area IF you ask for the newer section in the back. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Motorhome.

It's way overpriced for what you get. Mostly long term residents. There isn't a pool. The best sites are in the back. Very little noise from Highway 101. Close to things. It would rate higher but for the price. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a convenient park for visiting in the South Bay area. As mentioned, the front section is for permanent residents and it has a nice paved section in the back of the park for overnight. It's expensive but is also located in a costly area with little competition. It also appears that there are some long term residents in this section. It is clean and maintained. The only drawback is the sewer hookup. I couldn't seal the hose because the hole is horizontal (coming out of a wall)and flush with the ground. Be prepared to use a donut. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not sure what to add to previous reviews except that it's surprisingly quiet given the proximity to Hwy 101. The sites in the "new section" have 50 amps, cement pads, and asphalt parking spots for tow vehicles and cost $64 per night. The sewer hookup is a little unusual, but all hookups are together and well positioned. Perfectly adequate for our 2-day stay in the San Francisco area, and preferable to other options apparently available. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Motorhome.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Although the front of the park is taken up by long term residents, the owners have added about 30 large brand new sites behind the original sites. Some are pull-through and the ones at the back of the park are back-ins. There is a brand new shower room (5 separate showers, 1 handicapped, 2 walk in in showers and two with showers and full tubs). Also in the building are 3 new washers and 2 dryers that all work perfectly and are a reasonable $1.25 was and $1.00 dry. There are also showers and laundry rooms else where in the park and they are clean and cared for. Long term (month or longer) gets a break on the cost. There are 3 different plans so check with the office, but it is about 1/2 the daily rate if you were to stay for a month. For dog owners there is a large area of grass to walk your dog by the front of the park, there is also a very small dirt area behind the rear laundry room. If you take a 20 minute car trip with your pups, there is a very nice off leash dog park right behind the Google campus at Shoreline Park in Mountainview. Also there is a nice off leash park at Seal Point, and for a little bit further drive you can take your dogs to the off leash park at Ft Funston and let them run on the beach. The people in the office and the maintenance people all take pride in their park and it shows. They could not be nicer or more helpful. The Wi-Fi could be improved, it is Tengonet. But I have recently bought a Virgin mobile 3G Wi-Fi hot spot that gives unlimited Wi-Fi for 50.00 a month and its reception was perfect. Kids are welcome but there is no pool or playground in the park. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for three days. The park is probably about as close as you'll get to San Francisco and is located in an industrial area. It was very quite. There are no restaurants or fast food establishments within walking distance. The park has an older residental section, and the new section in rear. There are both drive through and back in. Spots are close and concrete. There is a small pet area behind the restrooms but a nice large area near the office. The restrooms are new and very nice. I thought the rate was high, but it's the Bay area. No Good Sam discounts. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Motorhome.

You are in the Bay area, so the price is very expensive, especially since there aren't any RV sites close by. The trailer park up front is old, but the new area out back is very nice. The bathrooms are very dated, but they are building a new bathhouse in the new are. Sites are tight because you have to pull so far over to accommodate your slides, don't think much thought was put into the cement pads that houses the sewer and electrical. Sewer outlet was too high to dump. No picnic tables. OK site while visiting the area, very close to 101, that's why you get a lot of road noise. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Trailer Villa is updating their overnight parking for RVs. We live nearby and like to stay here to get ready for trips. Most of the updating is done. The sites are long enough for big rigs (we have a 42' w/4 slides), but they are much closer together. The new surfaces for the RVs are very level and clean. A new very low, open fence has been installed so not to obstruct views of the (somewhat smelly) salt marshes. A new bathroom facility is being built near-by. Updating the over nighters' section meant a new price increase: $20 more/night. Best thing about this park is location. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not for sitting outside of your rig but was close to San Francisco for business and sight seeing. A lot of monthlies, but every rig was clean and kept up and the park was very quiet. It essentially is a asphalt parking lot, but for our needs it was perfect. We will stay here again. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Motorhome.

We camp in a 32' vintage Airstream. This was not exactly camping, more like being parked at a rally or Wal-Mart lot. That said, the location is better than Candlestick RV Park for visiting family in The City. Caltrain stops across the freeway (about 1 mile away). The park is wedged between the 101 freeway frontage road and a wetlands at the edge of the bay. There is a bit of grass up front. Sites (your spot on the asphalt) offer hook-ups and nothing more. Bring your own shade, chair, table, roll of turf, and BBQ. Lots of poor folk make their home here year-round (hard-working, poor folk not making enough to buy a real house anywhere else). They and their children are courteous enough, but don't expect camaraderie. Just north is a new office development jutting out into the bay. About a 5 minute drive, it offers a number of public parking areas and trails with stunning views of the water, mountains, and sunrise/sunsets. This is where we will stay again in the Bay Area. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
