Dirt Sites - full hookups, good enough for a night or two. Quiet. Very friendly staff good laundry room, clean restrooms, Would stay here again if it was the area we had to be in for traveling through California. We camped at Desert Empire Fair in a Travel Trailer.
Enter at the 2nd gate you see - that is where the pay station is. Manager is near the restrooms.

Dusty parking lot with lots of long term residents with dilapidated 30 year old rigs. Why would the city allow that?? No cable, no internet, but the other utilities okay. Sewer does not allow air tight connections because of no threads. No amenities. The fairgrounds may be going out of business? Sites are not well defined, so If you want to use a lot of space, you can. Did not like - will not go back. We camped at Desert Empire Fair in a Motorhome.Undo

Friendly park and staff. Quiet. Dirt/gravel roads and sites that are mostly back to back hookups. In town for a couple of days and park filled our needs for a place in town to stay. A lot of long term residents. We would stay here again. Hints use the second gate from the south and the manager is in the South/East corner of park. We camped at Desert Empire Fair in a Motorhome.Undo

Friendly staff - thanked us for stopping by. Many permanent residents. Very quiet, not sure if that would be the case when there are activities there as it is part of the fairground complex. A bit out of the way for overnighets passing through. Clean but like all desert parks, mostly gravel and dusty. We camped at Desert Empire Fair in a Motorhome.Undo

I don't normally like to say bad things about a park, but, THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! The park "manager" could barely stick her head out the door to tell me to "park it wherever". We could not locate a sewer hook-up site (which we paid for) so, without the assistance of any staff, we found an electric/water site. The place is over-run with long term, run down trailers. This is not an RV Park as advertised on their website. Walking the fairgrounds this morning and looking at the "trailer park" again, trying to form a better opinion of this place only confirmed that this is the most poorly run and managed public facility I have ever seen. There is not much to choose from in this area as far as RV Parks go so be careful if you choose to stay in Ridgecrest! We camped at Desert Empire Fair in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
