I looooved this campground! They ask for your tow vehicle and trailer insurance and registration at the front gate, so be prepared. The grounds are kept so clean and manicured. There are always workers outside keeping up the park. They have a fire pit and picnic table at every site. Some larger sites have dirt and no grass, so check out the pictures on their website to book your choice. There is an 18 hole mini golf course, and a cool splash pad for the kids as well as 2 playgrounds. Clean showers and bathroom, a nature trail that you can ride your bike through. They also have a lake for fishing, and 6 cabin rentals for those that don't prefer tent or RV camping. I highly recommend this place! We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Travel Trailer.

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem in an arid climate. We found our site to be level, lots of room and well maintained both with the grounds and the facilities. Our first visit to this park and I would gladly camp here again. We were in the Cottonwood Campground. Our only difficulty was in making a reservation. Never was able to do it through the website. Had to call in to reserve. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easter weekend & summers weekends are full of rowdy folks playing their music loud (& no one's at their site!) Very inconsiderate folks! Even tho the park says no more than 2 cars & 8 folks per site - lots of sites had 4 cars & about 20 people! These are people who don't understand camping is supposed to be relaxing & de-toxing not blaring hip hop music (with foul language near little kids). And where are the park rangers to monitor - no where in site. We stayed in site 243 away from the crowd & we could hear the loud music til 11:30-ish PM. Quiet hours start at 10 PM. This used to be a really nice park with min golf & mini water park, lake & lots of open spaces. Now it's a ghetto hang-out. Not sure we'll come back again. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.

Riverside County Park. Lots of grass and space between rigs. Loved this park and would definitely stay again. It's a ways off the highway and could be hard to find without gps or good directions. Great staff. Wifi spotty. Large, beautiful park. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Absolutely one of the prettiest parks we have ever stayed in. Beautifully landscaped; trees dotting the park and wide open grassy areas. Wide asphalt interior roads and spacious sites with plenty of room between neighbors. Pull-thru site had plenty of room for 35' coach and tow without unhooking. Our site(207) was on the end with a big grassy area on one side. Was also satellite friendly. Used this as a stopover from Bakersfield to San Diego. Wished we could have stayed longer. A bit off the highway but well worth it. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 4 nights at this campground. Surprised to see such large open sites so close to the city. This park is nestled in a quiet suburb yet only a few miles from stores. The staff was extremely friendly. The grounds were well kept. The December weather was cool but enjoyable. I have no idea what this area is like in the summer. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Many of the sites are "head-in" not "back-in". This means that if you're RV is a trailer, you must either back-in (having your hookups on the wrong side) or else pull-in and back-out.

two parts to this campground, the older is mostly dirt with some grass areas and has been load in the past. the new part is modern with concrete pads, A LOT of grass and trees. this is a very nice park and a deal at the price. This is our first choice when visiting family in the area. Wifi is okay but the cable needs to get negotiated... We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We made reservations to stay one night, but had to cancel 11 days before our arrival. Riverside county parks has a 14 day cancellation policy within which no refunds are given. This is somewhat different than private parks which either impose no charge or at most charge one night's stay when a cancellation is made a short time before arrival. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.

I was impressed with this campground. We stayed at the Cottonwood campground and the sites were concrete, long, and spacious. Each site had a fire ring and table. The laundry room was clean as well as the campground. There were much to do at this campground like fishing, biking riding, and walking the trail. Shopping and dining is near by. We will be back. Booked a pull through but when we arrived only back ins available. Rate is Passport America (Mon-Thur) full price would have been a poor value. Nice, newer park with paved roads and concrete sites and lots of space between sites. Newer bathrooms but only one stall (in the men's, not sure about the womens) for the entire park with a non locking door. Quite a few seasonals with sites overflowing with sheds, toys, fridges etc. Not sure what they were, but lots of rodents around.(gopher like) Very smoky from all the campfires. Great location and newer park with a lot of the right ideas but not sure I would return. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We would love to talk to you about returning for another visit, and get you in the pull through spot you were looking for. This is a busy public campground and our team of RivCoParks staff and volunteers are committed to making your stay enjoyable. We are adjacent to the Luis Rubidoux Nature Center, and yes there is a lot of animal activity in this natural, rustic setting.

Would have been a 9 for me if they had sewer hook-ups. They do have a dump station.
This park is clean, very quiet, and is behind closed gates at night.
AC power is good and remains stable.
Water is good and pressure is 50+ lbs.
This park is an excellent value for the $15 Passport America rate. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.

This was our destination campground as I had a five-day conference to attend just down the street. I never could make the Tengonet wifi work. We left every morning before the office opened and returned every night after the office closed so could not find out what the problem was with their wifi. I used my cell phone as a wifi hotspot instead so it was no big deal.
This place is a county owned and operated park and campground. It was immaculate in every respect. All streets are paved and every space is level concrete. There is a lot of room between each space so it never felt crowded. There were a lot of trees and, in spite of the drought, a lot of freshly mowed grass. A very pretty park!
There are two separate RV areas. One campground is the older area in the back (Lakeview), the newer area is Cottonwood. Cottonwood is closer to the front entrance, office and store. We camped in the newer Cottonwood area. To us, it seemed much nicer. During the day, there were maintenance people all over the place taking care of things. At night, very quiet and peaceful.
They have a very nice convenience store.
I would camp here again. We camped here in a motorhome. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.

It was quite a surprise to find a very nice county park in the middle of cities and highways. We chose to stay in the older Lakeview section. We were able to go and pick our spot and then come back and pay. We chose a spot at the back, away from the lake and family area. Even though it was only a dirt parking pad it was very level. There was a lot of room between the spaces as well.

The park is very dog and kid friendly. There are packed dirt paths where you can walk or the children can safely ride bikes. There are the 2 lakes that have been mentioned and a water feature that the kids can play in.

We only stayed overnight, but if we have to come back to the SoCal area, we would stay here. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.
