We chose this location due to being near family for visiting. Not worth the price but then this is LA. Our stay was miserable because of ants that invaded our coach. It was a constant battle to kill hundreds of ants several times a day. After seeing the ants in the coach we noticed that there were several empty ant traps in the space and then noticed the ant mounds. We notified the office and were offered to move but at a higher price. When we said we needed to move because of their problem they could care less. We were told there are ants all over the park and the we are in nature. We will not return. Our site was fairly spacious but severely out of level. Other sites are very close to each other. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

This place seems to be our half point where driving from Arizona to Northern Cal. We have been here several times and feel it is one of the best RV parks in the area. There is no on-site restaurant but there are a couple 50's dinners nearby. The park has a nice food store and RV supplies. Although some sites may be close together there are many of thing that are very big. In the summer this place is usually booked solid for weekend stays 2 months out. Great views of the small airport, lake and mountains. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I wasn't that impressed with my site, which was pretty much right up against my neighbor, but I figured I was just there to get a good night's rest and it's better than a walmart parking lot. Nope. 7am the lawnmowers attacked. Literally. My RV was surrounded by 2 of them and a guy with a weed wacker going back and forth over the same patch of grass for nearly an hour. Calls to the office can't stop it because the mowers are 'county employees'! Clearly the county does not like RVers. What can I do if I can't even sleep at this place? County wins. Not coming back. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We found this to be a good park for sight seeing in LA. We stayed here 3 nights and drove into the city. It is about a 45 min. drive on I-10 freeway.(Expect bad traffic jams, leave plenty of time!) We were in Site C-41. great site overlooking the lake. Quiet, with a southern view of the sky. Both Verizon and T-Mobile signals good. Park cable a bit fuzzy on some channels had plenty of channels and there is good OTA. No wifi. Sites have nice grass for rover. Site is asphalt, mostly level, did have to use a board under one wheel. (but I am fussy) FHU were in good location. Electric and water correct. We had a great view over the lake from this site. Site was an easy back in with plenty of room for the toad. I would check the camp map as the sites vary. There are a lot of full time people in the park, but along the lake it seems to be short term rentals. Did not find the park to be loud at night, usually saw no one when walking the dog. There are security patrols at the camp, and they do tell you not to leave items out. We had no problem. There are trash cans at each site. We unhooked our toad at the site. Many unhooked at check in. There is a nice camp store here and they do sell wine. Thought the laundry was on the expensive side. All in all a good place to visit the city. Most all of the campgrounds around LA are expensive. Would stay here again if we come back to the area. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Leave plenty of time if going to see LA there always seemed to be large traffic jams and lots of slow traffic. We had to almost triple our expected time into and out of the city, even on Saturdays and Sundays. If sight seeing in LA go in early before the tour buses (usually around 10 am)

A nice resort for being so close to LA. I have stayed on the bluff as well as the lower level next to the lakes backwater and both were great. Beware of the animals prowling at dusk, skunks and racoons are prevalent. It would be of help if the staff would cover all trash cans to keep the varmints back. I love this park! We've been coming here for long week-ends for over 25 years. The only thing that has changed is, there are more long term spaces. We stay here at least 3 times a year. We stay B section overlooking the lake. This park is a diamond in the ruff! Lots are spacious and feature a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

In an LA suburb, this RV park serves mostly long-terms with some daily renters. LAers flock here on weekends to party (think loud music and crying babies at 2am). All sites are back-ins; those in D E F loops are very tight and packed together; A B C loops are less so with some privacy (but are occupied mostly by long-terms). Getting to D E F loops requires steep downhill with 3 large speed bumps on the way down that empty shelves if driven at more than 2mph. My rating is for F loop on Sat. night. (I stayed in A loop on the previous Wed and rate it 7 out of 10.) Note that office staff charges your credit card $48 at time of reservation, so you have to settle remaining charges upon check-in. Also, park charges $5.18 transient tax, charges extra for more than 2 adults, charges extra for pets and extra vehicles. To add insult to injustice, no wifi except in the office. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a review while staying at "A" loop, site 115. The area was clean, a few beer bottle tops and cig butts laying around. Site was asphalt and level and green grass all round. In this site, there are large trees blocking the southern sky, so no satellite dish reception. Cable was just OK, analog only. OTA was decent as L.A. area has a ton of digital channels. The road on "A" loop is asphalt and very narrow. Watch out for extended stay residents, parking their many vehicles close to the road. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed Saturday - Wednesday. The weekend was ripe with battalions of kids throwing balls and riding bikes and scooters. During the weekdays, the commuter rail with horns blaring and commercial airliners begin their day at 5:30 a.m. This campground is adjacent to a small airport, which also houses LE helicopters coming and going throughout the night. In the morning, private airplane traffic begins. Also, the CG is in the departure path for Ontario Int'l Airport. Mid-morning and early afternoon is kind'a quiet. Then the commuters start coming home on the rails. Didn't visit the pool. A large CG and very full.

Will be returning again in January. Reserve early for "A" loop. The reason is it overlooks the small airport and has a great view of the mountains and valley. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for two nights in the A loop; if you don't like crowds avoid F loop, packed in tight and loads of people. Park was nice with some beautiful views, a lot of permanents live here. We took our three dogs and our daughter, they charged us extra for my daughter, which I have never heard of. Pricey campground, for two night's it was $130 dollars. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here before, in 2010 in our former Class A. The location, on top of a flat hill between the 10 and 60 freeways and just off the 57, is very good because even though it's far from LA, you can get there easily via freeway. The view from the hill are absolutely spectacular.

The spaces are very spacious, with lots of trees, lawns, and small ponds. There are lots of permanent rigs here, but lots of space for the transients like us. Unfortunately, WiFi is best near the entrance buildings, not so good in the spaces. All amenities are available, but we didn't use them so can't report on restrooms, showers, laundry, etc. We were on a pad that had a picnic table and fire ring, which we didn't use. We only needed 30 amp, but I'm sure 50 is available. I don't remember the lot number or price we paid, but it seemed reasonable.

The physical location is the prime advantage. Yes, it's 30 miles from Pasadena, but you can get there easily. We loved waking up to the gorgeous views of the mountains. We'd stay here again. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

We might have never decided to venture so close to LA without a friend telling us about this park. The sites are very spacious and have paved parking spots with lawn surrounding. We did see one skunk in the evening, but he was not interested in us. There are large sites for big rigs and most, I think are back-in. We were very comfortable there, but we did pick up some ants. Watch your hoses and power lines. We found that Bon Ami or Conmet will send them packing. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

Convenient location off Highway 10, with a guard at the entrance. We stayed in space #A97. With a BearExtender WiFi booster, we got WiFi about 60% of the time. Pretty park with full hookups. The park appears clean and well managed. The roads are narrow and the spaces are very close to each other. There is No internet in the park, other than at the office. Weak Verizon signal. Many full-time residents.

Beautiful park with a great view of the lake, the mountains and the airport. Bug smasher airplanes fly by at your altitude. Lots of trees and grass. Laundry is not free but is reasonable. Company store is well stocked and the welcome desk is adequately manned and friendly. There are lots of large sites and many (some quirky) full time stays. Security guards roam the property at all times, including County Sheriffs and private security--you have to wonder why? Internet works only minimally from the headquarters building--since internet is now a ubiquitous utility, we have to ponder why the park is not equipped? Cable TV functions and the entry through the city park is easy. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.
