Beautiful and convenient setting. High Sierra at it's best. North fork of the Yuba River on property and two minute walk. Far enough from big cities. Quiet mountain village. We camped at Sierra Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park, not year around. Sites are very close, and a very tight fit. Camp host was very nice and helpful. The one thing is there is no cell reception. So you have to use pay phone at top of a little hill. The beautiful river is then at the bottom of the hill the other direction. And will really get you in shape, but in the hot weather is was so worth it. We camped at Sierra Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our price was based on a one-week stay. This little park was a perfect find, especially out here where there are mostly National Forest campgrounds with no facilities. You can hear the river from practically any site, and I found most of the sites to be of average to slightly larger than average size, for a private park. The LARGE pet walking area is watered regularly and well maintained - unlike many parks pet areas, there were no stickers or weeds, just soft green grass. The rest of the park is nicely landscaped with beautiful flowers, trees, and our site even had a small herb garden which we were invited to use. On weekends, the owners put out a nice spread with free coffee and pastries, which we found to be a very hospitable gesture. The owners are friendly, helpful and really seem to enjoy having guests and meeting new people. The bathrooms are spotless with plenty of hot water. Excellent Wi-Fi, and our spot was the farthest one from the office. I'd highly recommend this park to anyone staying in the area. We camped at Sierra Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

When I reserved a site at this park I agreed to pay extra for the premium large pull-through. Don't waste your money. We spent $88 staying for two nights and it was horrible. We could barely get our 5th wheel into the campground let alone the site. We were unable to open our awning as it would have hit our neighbor's (5 adults, a child and 3 dogs) awning. We had absolutely no privacy. The RV's at this very small park were packed in like sardines. Obviously many were living at the park. The campground was very cluttered and dirty. I thought about asking for a full refund as this park was really miss-represented to me when the reservation was made. We had a terrible weekend. I would never stay at this park again or recommend it. We camped at Sierra Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
