Small park, so we called prior to arrival. No reservations for Passport America but we told them we were coming and he said ok. Upon arrival the park was full for the evening. Check in was efficient with three of us arriving at exactly the same time. Pullthru was long enough for 43 ft motorhome and attached toad. Hookups perfectly placed and warmers on the waterline to prevent freezing. The following morning the same man was out in the park checking sites after folks left and offering suggestions on departures and routes. Nice place and price for an overnight, would definitely stay again. Site 17 was on the end, so we did decide to unhook the toad to make the curve when leaving. Seemed the safest thing to do. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a well maintained campground with helpful staff at check in. Interior roads and RV sites are dirt, and therefore dusty when dry and mucky when wet. Big rig access is good. Our pull through site was tight but there was enough space for our towed. No privacy between sites but we did have a strip of grass between us and our neighbor, there was also a picnic table. It was very quiet both day and night time. There was a lovely view of the surrounding mountains. The very clean laundry was large and very well equipped with plenty of washers and dryers. Very pet friendly with a large dog park, no doggie bags, just a large garbage can as a disposal station. Wifi was adequate and AT&T was good. Major shopping and restaurants are all in Susanville, about 12 miles away. We would stay here again, but only as an overnighter. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

No pool, rec room, and TV was limited. We don't use those so our 10 is conditional. Also, I am ignoring that the soap dispenser in the men's was empty. What you get is a level site with good utilities and clean restrooms/showers that are handicap accessible. Laundry like new 1.25/0.75. Check in was fast and friendly. It is a quiet, rural location. Unless you want/need city services, concrete, and resort features this park is nearly perfect. Fine for an overnight or to just sit for a couple of days. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There is a gas station/convenience store across the hwy. Groceries, old Walmart, restaurants in Susanville a bit over 10 miles. There is a BLM horse and burro adoption site in Litchfield (6 Miles).

We have driven past the park for years but will not do that again. The staff is friendly, the driveways are gravel but are smoother than many paved roads and the WiFi is better than most. The layout makes it feel like an older park but the pedestals look new and there are modern looking light poles at each site. There is grass and a picnic table at each site and a good dog run. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

A snow storm and high wind warnings prompted me to look for a place to sit tight for a few days. The nightly amount shown is for the weekly rate. Deal. Totally enjoyed the country setting, all utilities worked well and I was at the very back end of the property which gave me a pasture view. The laundry was clean and worked great. Made a couple trips to Susanville for groceries, lunch and such. Propane in California is much more expensive than in Nevada or Arizona, so that was sticker shock at the station across the street. Might have been cheaper in Susanville - oh well. The owner has stocked the office with a few necessary RV things, so if you are in need, check with him. Easy in easy out. Will definitely stay at Day's End again when I'm in the area. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This seems to be owner-run, and they do a fine job of keeping it tidy and welcoming. The rate quoted above is Passport America but regular rate seemed reasonable to me ($33). The sparkling clean restroom even had some complementary motel amenities in it. They have remarkably fast and efficient free wi-fi, making this an excellent stop if you have personal business to catch up on. One of our regular stops going to/from snowbird country. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

No road traffic at night and little during day; very quiet. It's farm country so you might wake to a rooster crowing. Smaller park, might want to check for availability.

We had a pull-thru plenty long for 35' plus toad. Great 50 Amp, water, sewer and wifi. Good over-the-air HD channels plus a few channels from the park's antenna. Site included a picnic table. The dog park was wonderful, clean pea gravel. Plus, so different from most parks and greatly appreciated, a light at the entrance and an interior light for use after dark. Bathroom/showers were spotless. Owner was very informative. Grounds were spotless. Very quiet. Easy acess. Rate was with Pass. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We used this park as a base for visiting the Lassen Volcanic National Park. Unfortunately the park road was closed due to the Pacific NW storm of October 2016. Then our stay was extended due to closure of HWY 395 to high profile vehicles because of high winds associated with the same storm. We were fortunate to be in such a comfortable park especially when it was full with no vacancies

Arnie is a cool RV Camp host. He treated us like family. Good service, perfect location for an overnight or exploring the area. Although a tad dusty, overall we would return here if in the area. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great little park with easy access off of Hwy 395. It was quiet, small, adult-oriented and the restrooms were spotless. The sites were well-maintained and nicely spaced. No leveling required. We were only passing through and just stayed the night, but if there was something to see in the area, I would not hesitate to use the RV park as a base for exploring for a couple of days. I would not hesitate to come back again and will probably stay here on our return trip. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, clean, well-tended park convenient for Hwy. 395 travelers. Arrived mid-afternoon and assigned a pullthru w/FHU. By dark, most pullthrus were full, but not all. Later in summer might be problematic w/o calling first. Great for overnighters, but we did not stay to explore. CG owner Arnie was very pleasant and helpful. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Taking hwy. A3 cuts off 10 mi. of hwy 395. Short burst of construction but otherwise great little shortcut. Park is right at intersection where A3 rejoins 395, across from small grocery.

This is a very nice, small RV park. It's quiet and clean, and situated in the midst of several farms. Several pronghorn were grazing in the field behind the park when I arrived, which was a delight. There is a very convenient fenced dog run, but most of it is loose, small gravel, which my dog did not like. It's not a place to exercise your dog, just a convenient potty. A nice long walk down the dirt road next to the park did the trick, though. No cable, but 40-some over-the-air channels. The best RV park wifi I've come across. Very fast, and free. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

We did not stay here, despite having a reservation. We were looking for a place to pull in for a night and this location fit our route nicely. We had asked for a pull-through so we didn't have to drop. When I entered the office no-one was there but sign said to ring bell on desk. No bell. After calling out several times, I was greeted and informed that all he had was a back-in in the back. He made no apology - just said that's the way it was. We found a nice place in Susanville instead. The park was small, seemed well kept but was full of mostly what appeared to be long-term RVs. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very quiet and clean RV park in the middle of farm country. The owner cares a lot about the grass staying green, so it felt like a little oasis. Sites are gravel but flat and level with a picnic table. All sites are FHU with about 8 cable channels (including Discovery, History, Fox News). Sites are a bit close together but the people staying here are all quite friendly. Showers were immaculate and water gets hot fast. There is even a fenced in dog park for your pets. Best thing here is fast and reliable internet, getting 2mb/sec on speedtest.net. We also got Verizon LTE data at 70% signal strength and solid cell service, but their internet is good enough to give yourself a break on the data usage. We were in the 3rd to last site at the end (#22 back-in and shady) and internet was still solid. The only downside about our stay had nothing to do with the campground, there is construction work fixing a mile of the road in front of the park and you have to wait for a pilot car to let traffic back and forth and can get a little noisy at moments, but didn't ruin our stay at all. I'm sure another month from now, someone will be reviewing how smooth and flat the new road is. :) If we're back in this area in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Days End RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Walmart in Susanville (~12 miles) is not a Super Walmart, they have more goods than groceries (very limited). Groceries should be picked up at Safeway. Be sure to watch the sunsets here!

Very clean park and very well maintained. Obviously the owner cares about the park. Arnold was very friendly and personable. Besides being clean the WiFi worked very well. Sites are a little close but that is typical of many private parks. We just overnighted here and would stay again. Good value. I have paid a lot more and gotten less.
