Park is in need of some cleanup. Weeds were unattended and grass needed mowing. Pine cones everyplace. The tree that were planted years ago have now grown up and are a hinderance as they were planted very close to the exit end of the spaces. Big rigs watch out! I stated $45 nightly fee as this is the total amount I paid after taxes and a $5 electrical surcharge. The management blames everything of the state for all the extra charges. There are no amenities here, but the laundry room is nice. Have stayed here since but this is probably the last time as the fee is now to high. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a no frills park. You get a cement slab and full hookup. Nice grass between sites. Lots of permanent residents. The laundry was very clean. $1.50 wash, $2.00 dry. Good for a night or two. Cable and wifi was sketchy. Check in was interesting. She was a little crabby because we were early. The rest of the staff was very helpful. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed one night in a 40' motorhome. Park itself is average to fine. Cable did not work as we were told their cable company had changed things and unless you had a 2 year or newer TV it would not pickup channels. Seemed odd since our cable hook-up in all other parks worked just fine. Close to shopping and restaurants. Try the Lumberjack restaurant - good food. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Susanville RV Park was one of the cleanest parks I've seen, and we travel all over the US and parts of CA. The restrooms and showers were not new, but immaculate. There is a really nice laundry with no machines out-of-order. Pads were concrete, some cracked, but not crumbling. Sites had grass and some shrubs and trees, all very clean and neatly trimmed. Host and hostess were pleasant and efficient. There was no traffic or air-traffic noises. The only thing that was bothersome was all the security lights, but they are there for our benefit. We would definitely recommend this park. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove through Susanville, but did not stop. It looked like a nice town with many restaurants and fast food options. We ordered pizza to be delivered from Pizza Factory and it was excellent. We saw two movie theatres. I would have liked to stay a couple of days, but no time.

Didn't have reservations although the park was about 1/4 full. The check in lady was surly but gradually became nicer during the check in process. I almost left because of the attitude. Nice park and close to shopping. The sewer connections on a lot of the sites are more than six inches high and so it doesn't drain. I saw a lot of people using the dump station. Quiet and comfortable. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We are new to RV parks. We have stayed in four parks on this trip. This park was the cleanest and best layout so far. All pull throughs with water, sewer and electrical connections. Grass and shrubs separate slots. Slot orientation has the setting sun on the left side of the trailer. Our slot had a picnic table which was not in the sun at 6:30PM. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well lit. The shower water was very hot and very high pressure. The stalls were spacious. There are some trees on some slots. We did not have one.

The park is one street off the main drag, so the road noise was minimal.

There is a laundry facility.

There is a dog area including bags and trash can. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for two weeks while tow vehicle getting repaired. Park very nice, clean and quiet. Can view wildlife in the evening along park perimeter. Wi-Fi a bit slow but works well. Good cable TV at our site. About 20 channels available over the roof antennae from Reno which has many channels that the cable does not offer. Laundry room nice. 6 top load washers and 6 gas dryers. Washers only fill HALF FULL on the rinse cycle so watch your load size. Close to all kinds of eats and Walmart and Safeway. A lot of places to visit in the surrounding area. Have stayed here almost every year since 2005 and will do so again. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for one night passing thru south.
Had a pullthru that was long enough for our 40 mh and connected toad.
Hookups are in the back which was fine except for the sewer.
Had to put two hoses together to reach the dump point.
Some sites still have broken cement on the sites.
Stayed here two years ago and it is ok.
Office tells us, gets windy, so watch your awnings.
Have a tree by our site but doesn't block the satellite signal.
Have free WiFi by Tengo, so you know it's going to be slow.
Will stay here again when passing thru. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overnighted here 8 years ago and wanted to come back for a longer stay. Rate reflects monthly stay. The sites are concrete and with the cold winters have cracked and heaved in some places so you may have to straddle a dip in your site but very doable. Long wide pull thrus with concrete patio and grassy area in most sites, easy access from the highway and wide streets in the park, weather was great in the month of June for snowbirds escaping summer heat. Work campers on the job daily to keep park looking tip top. Fairgrounds are nearby and was able to see fireworks from our site. Park was quiet. 4 small fenced areas to walk your dog off leash. You could walk your dog on a leash in all the park except the two back corners with long term residents. Deer in park many mornings. We had mail forwarded a couple times and office called each time to let us know it was in. Would stay again if in the area. Reservations encouraged during peak summer months. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A very clean and well kept park. Fair wi-fi, good if you have an external adapter. Good ATT. Easy satellite set-up. Nice pull through concrete site and the manager didn't pile everyone right next to each other. Convenient to most everything. Maybe a little pricey. We would stay here again. There are permanent occupants are on the perimeter - all are neat - no dumpy sites. Many of the cement pads are cracked but are serviceable. Trash dumpster and recycling is in one area at the front of the park. Owners are friendly and helpful. There are many one-night guests - we stayed three nights - and the owners/managers kindly located us not in the midst of the one-night guests. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
