We stayed here in a 37' RV with tow. Level gravel sites. Picnic tables, fire rings in some sites, trees. We were in site 4 with a great mountain view. Portable satellite worked great. WiFi was good. AT&T cell coverage only, but there is a land line phone in office that you can use for free. Short drive to Sequoia National Park. Very nice people in office. We would stay again. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great food at the River View Restaurant-back deck is right on the river.

Good Wi Fi, and ATT works well. The bad, I reserved in March for a May arrival a site on the river for three nights. I provided my copy of the reservation and was told that they had me down for one night at an off river location. I doubt very much that anyone would show up here for one night. Anyway after a lot of scrambling by the person behind the desk and my relenting, I got a pull through near the river. I was primarily interested in going to Sequoia and Kings Canyon so the site wasn't that important, however after coming back after a long day at the parks, it would have been nice to have a closure on the river.
As others have said, it appears that some who come here want to go to the park, and others party. I'm glad I came mid week.
Didn't use the showers but they charge for them, and at these rates that seems to be a bit muchl
Next time I'll check other RV parks in the area. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Reserve a river site, but best call as my experience with on line booking didn't work.

Nice rustic campground. The sites are pretty close together and if you are in the river area, they are real close. We were in site 3 and although close, we were able to spread out a bit. No OTA TV reception . I see two type of RV'ers - one lives the RV lifestyle and the others use the RV on weekends to blow off steam away from home. Unfortunately, for the first 2 nights, we had the latter and they were loud late into the night. Once that group left, it was nice and quiet. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you need groceries, get them before you hit Three Rivers. My wife was shocked at the prices. Check out the fruit stands in Lemon Cove and Exeter. Best strawberries I have ever eaten.

After staying here in 2009, I finally had the opportunity to come back, and this time got a river-front site with full hookups. These sites are fantastic. We had one of the pull-through sites parallel to the river so our doors opened up to the riverfront mere steps away. We came in the spring when the weather was in the mid-70s, everything was green and the river had good flow. Most of the complaints I see are from people who went during the fall when it was hot and dry.

The property is great for kids, they can explore on foot and bicycle and use the swimming hole. There is a scavenger hunt paper you can pick up from the office as well which will keep them occupied for the better part of a day. We liked the rustic feel of grass and gravel roads, and being lulled to sleep by the flow of water each night and waking up to same. Service before and during was excellent, as they went way out of their way to make sure that we would be able to pull through around our neighbors, with lots of phone communication beforehand. These are the same owners that took over shortly before our first visit and 7 years later it is still clean and beautiful.

No problems with rowdy neighbors, this is a laid back campground with a rustic rural feel. The very small mobile home park located at the back is very neat and clean with friendly residents.

Most of the spots are shady, lots of trees throughout. There are cable hookups if you're worried about reception. The fire pits are good, hookups in our site were well placed with several different sewer holes to choose from depending on the location of your hose.

The wifi was slow but worked for basic checking in on email and facebook. Don't plan on relying upon it for getting serious work done. there is no Verizon signal but there is AT&T, as others have said. I considered the lack of phone reception to be a plus and we barely used the Wifi. We were here to get away not to stay plugged in. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The #1 attraction is Kings Canyon National Park. In town at Three Rivers just a few miles from the RV park, there is a family oriented Pizza joint and Reimers, a hand-made ice cream and candy shop again great for the kids. A small grocery store, fairly substantial hardware store and pharmacy will take care of your basic needs and forgotten items. There are other boutique stores as well as more restaurants up and down the highway.

Stayed here over New Years weekend 2016. The campground is a converted mobile home park. There are still mobile home residents that live across a small bridge in a area of the park separate from the campground; however the bathroom and shower house is in this section of the park.

The park has a mix of electric/water and electric/water/sewer sites. Most of the sites are pretty close. There is a small tent area.

You pay a premium for the sites along the river, but they are worth it. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground is located a few miles outside Three Rivers, Calif. The campground has no supplies available, so if you don't have a car you must bring everything you need with you.

We picked this park because of the closeness to Sequoia National Park. The park was very accommodating to get us in but it is very tight and needs major work. The bathroom is in the mobile home park next door that use to be part of the park. The roads are all gravel and narrow. You can maneuver but you have to be careful. The hookups were also very far from the camper connections. Good for a quick stopover. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Sequoia is only about 3 miles away.

Dusty and dirty with very little grass. Site we had there was a huge oak tree that was dropping its acorns. When they would hit the RV roof, it sounded like a gun going off. We only used this as a base camp to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The site had some gravel but mostly dirt with the utilities in the middle of the site. Sites are close together and not great for awnings. Staff was very friendly. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here because of its proximity to Sequoia National Park and the fact that our 40' MH and 20' toad wouldn't get into the park given the 22' total length restriction. Great and very beautiful RV park. Saw three bears not 100 yards from our MH that were eating dinner and I suspect that they come here every evening. Our 50 amp pull-through site worked out great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Fantastic location to stay at when going into and out of the nearby Sequoia National Park--especially if you have a big rig.

Very nice park on the road to the south entrance to Sequoia Natl Park. Very nicely spaced, easy to get into and out of your pad. No rain here for a while and the swimming hole at the back of the park was very stagnant and the creek was dry. The road to the south entrance into the park is very winding and slow drive into Sequoia. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We picked this park as the closest to Sequoia that could handle a class A.

The "Ranch" is down a back road close to the town of 3 Rivers but about 30 minutes away from the Sequoias. The biggest surprise for me was NO connectivity...in the park OR the town. No wifi in the park...no cell signal anywhere. RUSTIC... pretty level dirt sites and power & water were fine. Big rigs would find turn radius a bit tight. Park roads need to be navigated around the bumps. Bathrooms a bit of a walk and quite dated but clean. Laundry fine. The stream & swimming hole were basically dried up due to the drought so it is probably a nicer stay with fishing & swimming in normal times. The folks in the office are nice and will let you use the wired phone (remember those?) if you need to make a call.

If you haven't seen the Sequoia Park...you should be prepared to be amazed and return here despite the lack of amenities because everywhere else is a lot further away. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go to Sequoia Park and drive the incredible highway of the Giants...but don't overlook the other magnificent place within the park...the Moro Rock hike is easy but UP walking. Whether you make it all the way up or just a little way...the vistas will amaze you.

This place does not claim to be a resort, but a ranch. It is a rustic campground that is a little over-priced for the amenities. The $34 dollar rate did not include sewer ($5 more per night). We stayed in site #5. Although it was not on the river, it was spacious and nicely shaded. As others mentioned, for a big rig, this is your best bet for getting as close as possible to the national parks. We stayed in a 35 ft 5th wheel and would stay here again in site 2 or 5. The one drawback for us was the dump location. The area where it is located is towards the back of the park where it was heavily congested and tight turns. We elected to go to Lake Kaweah and pay $4 upon leaving the area. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

One suggestion for visiting the park, stop at Potwisha Campground and take the shuttle to the NP. Let them do the driving up the switchbacks.

Two little grocery stores in Three Rivers are very limited in items and very expensive.

Excellent slot. Clean and private. California quail walked into our campsite everyday. Level. Easy to find using campsite directions. Very close to National Parks. Would stay here again. Not sure of the cost. Last slot on the loop, so only neighbor on one side. Very private. Both this slot and the one next to it seemed almost the best of all. Back in slot. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

The previous three reviews are spot on; this is a wonderful, older campground that is perfect for visiting Sequoia NP. It's still an hour to get into the park, but this is as close as you're going to get, and if you like to come back to your rig at night and have a true camping experience, this place is for you. Our spot (#26) was nestled in the trees, next to the river. We loved the country road the campground was on - walked into town for breakfast one day (2 miles) - really lovely morning. The only drawback is that there is only one bathhouse and it is pretty dated, but it was clean. Laundry was 2w/2d but was fit for purpose. We will definitely stay here again! We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a great coffee shop in town that serves the best sunrise/bran muffins we've ever eaten! (Google Maps calls it Antoinette's, but when we were there it was called something else; it's right next to the Three Rivers market and gas station.)

Excellent place to stay for your Sequoia National Park visit. Our campsite to park entrance was 8.5 miles. This is not an RV resort but is a nice clean, quiet park to camp in. Lots of shade trees and the sites are nicely level. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was very good. There was AT&T cell phone coverage but no Verizon access, for that you have to drive down the road a few miles. Overall this is a very nice park for your Sequoia visit. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We loved this park. WARNING: GPS takes you the wrong direction, down a little dirt road with no turn around. This is a great park. We stayed a week and enjoyed the Sequoia National Park which is very close and a wonderful place to visit. Our back in river site was large and spacious, level, shady and well maintained. The river was just out our window. It was flowing but were told that due to the drought it is actually very low compared to other years. The lake down the road is pretty but also low. The site had good WiFi access but only had a 30 amp connection. I would suggest to the owners that the first sign announcing their site saying turn in 1.5 miles be placed prior to the Three Rivers Lions Club Roping road and a big "WARNING" be place in the form email AND on the website. This little mistake came close to being very costly for us since we had $140 reservations that evening and turning up the "lions" road following the GPS took our 40 + tow = 60ft rig up to a narrow dirt road where we had to drop our tow and back the RV down the winding road until we could get turned around delaying our arrival by almost 2 hours and causing us to rush to our reservations. Overall we had a wonderful time and the office folks were very polite. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
