This place had the tightest spots of any we've been to. I had to move the rig 4 different times (35' 5th wheel) because either the cable wouldn't stretch or the sewer wouldn't connect or the fence was too close or the tree blocked the door from opening. It took 4x as long to set up as normal. It was quiet and conveniently located near Sequoia National Park. It was a bit more expensive than I would have expected for such a place. The fence behind us was infested with millions of ants. We couldn't use the fire pit because we had to park almost on top of it in order to connect everything. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

Gravel park roads were a bit narrow making entry into the sites challenging for some. Our grassy, back-in site just big enough for our 37' MH and towed car. Water and electricity were convenient, but sewer was fairly deep in the site making it quite a stretch from our mid-coach utilities bay. We were able to connect to the WiFi, but not get any Internet service. We also were not able to connect to cell service with our Verizon phones. We did not use the bathroom or laundry. We thought price was average for the amenities provided. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Motorhome.

The host was kind. This property is very tight on space. Not very easy to pull your rig and and out. They have a great area for tent or dry camping. More permanent residents than I usually see. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Travel Trailer.

The campground itself was nothing to get excited about, gravel, back-in sites, all very close together...however, they have a private "beach" that was wonderful! It's a small, crystal clear cool pond that you can swim/wade into that was super to sit around, or wade into. It had trees all around, a sandy beach, a little brook, etc. Truly an oasis. No cell / WiFi service at all, so know that going there. You are just outside Sequoia (about 15 min). We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is as close as you can get to outside of Sequoia! Don't miss going to their own little beach, it's worth it. Also, try The Gateway Restaurant (& take your camera!). Wonderful food, great views of the river and we even saw a mother bear and her twin cubs at the river's edge there! Beautiful!

We stayed here because of its proximity to Sequoia which is only about 3 miles away. We had reservations for 3 nights. The wifi did it work except within feet of the office. The showers and bathrooms (all uni-sex) were never clean and we only had hot water in the showers at night. The host was quite rude. The campsites narrow and dusty. The was no cell phone service in the area. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Motorhome.

We planned to do a round trip through Sequoia NP and King Canyon NP the next day and to return back to Three Rivers Hideaway. Unfortunately, the Southern entrance of the NP doesn't let in RVs longer than 22 feet due to the winding and narrow street. Recommend take the gate at the Northern part of the park.

As we had to pass the RV park again after we have been declined to enter the park we asked the owner of the park if we could cancel our second night. It didn't make any sense to get back here. We were were happy that she accepted our offer. We appreciate that very much!

The park has some nice sites (like no 16 - 19) but very old facilities. There are a lot of permanent residents with quite a big mess. Very quite place in the middle of mother nature. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Motorhome.

Being so close to the Sequoia Forest was very nice. Staff was awesome and very welcoming. No pull thrus and spots seem narrow, about 8 or 10 feet to our neighbors. Quite a few full timers and tent campers. Hook ups where on the end of the space so I used extra hose and loaned neighbor an extra length for their 30 amp service. Wifi intermittent. River rafting tour vehicles causes a high volume of traffic back and forth in front of our space starting first thing in the morning. Awesome location to base camp at. We will stay here next time we head back to the forest. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Travel Trailer.

Well equipped local grocery store and hardware about 5 minutes south. Fill up on diesel before you get in the area or expect to pay premium prices.

Location is the best thing about this park. About 3 miles from Sequoia National Park, and on the Kaweah river, above the lake. They have WiFi, but it's only at the office. Cable gets a poor reception. Sites are deep, but very close together. Laundry has only 1 washer and dryer. There is a concrete patio, but it's small. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

I found this place on the Internet and decided to take a chance on it. The National Park frowns on RVs larger than 25' so my 30 footer would be a problem in the park. We used a second vehicle for the parks. Parking the RV was pretty easy, the host was awesome, and the amenities worked as advertised. And it was inexpensive compared to other places. I will admit it was a bit rustic but everything worked. If I'm ever in that neighborhood again, I would most definitely stay at Three Rivers Hideaway! Very recommended... We stayed here for 4 nights as our base for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPs. Less than 4 miles to the entrance to Sequoia. Older campground with some full time residents. Sites were narrow. Only 30 amp was available. Road to sites was steep and narrow. Laundry was one washer and dryer, did not use so do not know the cost. Got good reception for Dish and AT&T. Further down the driveway, past the tent sites, was a small beach on the river with access only for those staying at the park. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Motorhome.

We had a reservation, but they weren't expecting us. So, we got a site with 30 amp electric and water but without a sewer hookup. We never even met the owner/manager since she was "in town" and we were checked in by one of the many permanent residents (who filled at least 13 sites by my count). He "steered" us into our extremely tight site (with trees way too close to the front of the site), so it took 45 minutes of maneuvering to get in. Most of the problem was due to the pickup of the permanent resident directly opposite our site sticking too far out into the road. When we left, we asked a short-term RVer to move her SUV and were able to swing out and miss the trees on the first try. Then we had to dump on the curve of an uphill road, so dumping took forever and much of the black tank didn't drain until I hooked up the black tank flush and ran more water through it. So, all-in-all, Three Rivers is one of the worst RV parks we have ever stayed in--and there are some pretty bad ones in Alaska! We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a rustic RV park close to Sequoia National Park. Sites are varied, some gravel, some level, and some concrete. There's decent shade which may impact satellite reception. The cable system is very good and the WiFi is okay. The two bathrooms were flooded for two days, and we were told they were waiting for a part to fix the problem. There's a nice beach on a swimming hole in the river that runs behind the park. There is no Verizon cell service in the park. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

It was a bit difficult getting our 32' RV into the site. Once there, it was comfortable because at this time of year the campground was not full. Very close to Sequoia National Park. Said we could get Wi-Fi, but have to go across the street to the bakery (which is very good). No real Verizon service. The campground worked for what we were there to do - visit Sequoia. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

The location is perfect to explore Sequoia NP. The park is not big rig friendly except for the boondock area, which is beautiful in the back at the river. Our rate was for a back-in W/E site. Wi-Fi was mostly OK. Backing in was a challenge because the site had trees in all four corners, making maneouvring somewhat tricky. We made it because the opposite site was empty, otherwise we probably would have failed to get in. Leveling was easy. Beside the grassy site was a concrete patch with a large picnic table. Park was quiet, but some residents leave early in the morning so you might wake up at 5:30 am before falling asleep again. We didn't use any facilities, we peeked in though and realized there was only one washing machine for the whole park. However, we liked it here and would stay again if revisiting Sequoia NP. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

A nearby sign just outside this park indicated that it was 101 degrees the day we arrived. When we walked into the office and gave them our reservation info, they were considerate enough to tell us to go hook up first, so we could get our AC going. The owners and staff all were very helpful and considerate. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the sites are quite small, especially the FHU ones, but if you are here to see the sights rather than spend much time at your site, it's adequate, and each site has a picnic table. They offer river rafting, which we did, and the guides were very knowledgable and showed everyone a good time. There is river access on their property, to wade or relax, but there are no riverfront sites. They also have a mountain biking guide who took me on a great ride directly from the campsite. As other reviewers mentioned, the bathrooms are small, but I found them to be very clean and in fact noticed them being cleaned every day. Plently of hot water, too. No Verizon, but 3-4 miles west, in the town itself, you can pick it up. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Motorhome.
