Very friendly staff. Beautiful, wooded sites. Lots of shade! Daily garbage pickup at your site by the staff. Nice store and other amenities. Gas and Propane available. Two hours from Redding on curvy road. We camped at Trinity Lake KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This campground was okay: more geared toward smaller kids and people that have boats. It would have been nice to have Bingo a bit more often and/or more adult type activities. (Horseshoe pit was a disappointment.) Pool was somewhat mucky due to the holiday weekend and a lot of families/kids. It had to be shut down for several hours due to someone deficating in the pool. But, it was handled quickly and in accordance with State safety and health rules. Could use a bigger pool area or a second pool location for adults only. Cable TV would also be a plus. We camped at Trinity Lake KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall the park was in very good condition. Activities included outdoor movies, mini-golf, swimming pool and kids activities. The on site grill menu looked good though we didn't eat there. Staff was very friendly. The only complaint was at check in when the clerk couldn't figure out how to give me a special discount that she admitted I was entitled to. Previous guests mentioned a long walk to the lake. The walk was about one half mile, didn't seem so bad. We camped at Trinity Lake KOA in a Motorhome.

This property used to be known as Wyntoon. Heavily wooded area, satellite will not work, but nice sites amongst the trees. Hookups look old, but they work. Some sites very level, others not. Good things for kids to do, basketball, bikes, pool. Office staff very friendly and helpful, nice store and a grill if you don't want to cook. Boat slips are available, but the lake is a long walk from the sites. Also, keep in mind the drive here from Redding is windy and hilly. Free Wifi works well. We camped at Trinity Lake KOA in a Motorhome.

This formerly private campground is now a KOA park. Still nice overall, but a bit expensive. The RV site was $35 for two adults. (Kids 5 and under are free.) Kids 6 through 15 are an additional $3 each. For us and our 2 kids it came to $41 per night plus tax. We camped at Trinity Lake KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This resort/campground is on Trinity Lake. The lake is about a 1/2 mile away, not too bad a
walk, but no real beach for swimming. There are many seasonal rentals and some year-round tenants as well (well kept for the most part). Owners seem fairly nice; did have one day where there was no water, another when the power went out (in 115F heat, no less). Laundry room and bathhouses pretty clean, casual atmosphere, dirt bike trail along the lake, and well-stocked store. Very pretty scenery. Good overall family park but kind of off the beaten track. We camped at Trinity Lake KOA in a Travel Trailer.
