We were very uncomfortable in this park due to the extremely tight space we were assigned. As previous reviewers have described, the site arrangement is pull-throughs with alternating driveways. So you're face-to-face with the RV in front and back-to-back behind. This worked OK for some of the sites for longer term campers. But in the end row we were in, it was extremely tight. Our 5th wheel was wedged between two others; our bedroom slide nearly touched the one behind us and our awning nearly touched our facing neighbor. The 2 picnic tables were side-by-side in a common area between our RVs that left no room to put lawn chairs. As other reviewers have stated, the park is nicely landscaped, utilities are fine and the cable TV lineup is extensive. But we would have preferred more space outside. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice place and well appointed - just kinda pricey at $60 a night - my site was one of a few I saw that were actually a single - where most were "back to back" with a service "island" between and a few looked like their slides came very close to touching backs. Staff was very helpful as I called ahead to say I was going to be late. Gotta say it was nice to escape the heat of the valley and be at elevation. With all the trees (being at the end of a row) there was enough break for my sat to work - I DID hook up to the cable - but possibly can blame my TV never got to watch their CATV. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, heavily treed park a little over a mile from historic downtown Truckee. All spaces are pull-throughs; streets are wide and access to sites is easy. You park on asphalt and there is an asphalt pad for a picnic table; remainder of site is grass or gravel. Our site, like many others, had a downhill slope but our jacks were able to get us level. All sites are side-by-side; you will have a close, sometimes very close, neighbor on your driver side and share open space on your patio side. In the sites used for short-termers, which we were, the patio space is not real wide, but big enough for a few days. The sites used by seasonals, of which there are many, had huge spaces between the adjacent RVs with large trees and either grass, gravel or natural landscaping. I can see why people would want to stay here for the summer. There are two self-contained unisex restroom units in the laundry building and two more in a modular facility elsewhere in the park. The trees will prevent most sites from getting satellite access but the park cable system had about 100 channels. Wi Fi worked well the few times we used it. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is covered with huge conifers, many over 2 feet in diameter. While we were there, expert logging crew was removing trees designated to be susceptible to going over in a storm. They used a crane and were able to remove trees right next to used sites! It is pretty quiet there. It is clear that many of the sites are used by long term stay residents, and there are more "park models" than I have seen anywhere else. But I have no objection to this, since the place was kept up. We very much appreciated the ENORMOUS dog park, probably a full acre or more and all grassy. They even had a small dog section that was fenced off, about 30 by 50 feet. The sites are situated so that they are all pull-throughs, with one large paved area that is shared by two sites. One sits by one road and can pull through past the other guy, who sits by the next road. This arrangement gave adequate privacy. I've never been to a park where maneuvering was as easy. The paved roads are very wide, like a regular street width. We had problems with WI FI, presumably because of too many people dowloading at once. We consider this one of the best parks in which we have stayed. It is a few miles from downtown Truckee, and about 13 miles to Tahoe City, CA on Lake Tahoe. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed his park, although our opinion is it was a little expensive. The spaces were wide and long enough for our motorhome. This campground is very much the flavor of Truckee surrounded with woods. It has a great spacious area for dogs. Very clean! We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park in an area where there are few options. Close to town with our site #124 needing jacks to level our RV. Cable was very good with many channels. Satellite was not an option because of the many large pine trees. Our big complaints involved the layout of the sites which had every two coaches sharing the same small island of grass. Keep your fingers crossed your neighbors are considerate and quiet. Our other complaint involved the cleaning hours of the laundry and watering times for the dog park. Both at prime morning times when guests and dogs are likely to use those facilities. Not very customer friendly. Also a lot of rules in this place which is fine but if one of the employees sees your dog doing a #1 anywhere but the dog park get ready for a "friendly" lecture. The big dog park is a long walk away from even the closest site but there are some woodsy trails which are dog walking options as well. This is the best RV park in the area and we would stay here again. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park with lots of grass and trees. Although the spaces are close, it still feels like you're in a forest. When we visited there were lots of kids and dogs. Fortunately the manager was strict about keeping dogs on a leash in the park, but there's a large off-leash dog run with a separate fenced area for smaller dogs. WiFi is spotty. Surprisingly I saw only one toilet and shower for women and one for men. There are plenty of guest parking spots. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice wooded park but very cramped. This park is not the best for big rigs and slides. Our neighbor's slide is about two feet from ours! No place outdoors to set up chairs. It does have a picnic table on a concrete pad but that is not how we like to enjoy our outdoor space. Our site is not at all level. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park with very friendly staff. Rate was for 50 amp site during Memorial Day weekend and $5.00 online reservation fee. Sites were very close together and park was completely full for the holiday weekend, but surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Requested a late checkout but they could not accommodate due to incoming reservations. Site was level and very clean. Nice park for the kids, and a nice open area (not fenced) for the dogs. 116 TV channels including HD channels. Could log onto the wifi network, but it was unusable. Verizon LTE worked great. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great wooded park, we were on the edge, so not crowded in-between folks. We loved this for walking the dogs, lots of paths in the woods and a bike bath to walk them along. There are lots of permanent residents/RVs/Trailers, but they didn't bother anyone. The best part is having a place to walk the dogs outside of the RV park. A big plus for us. There is a Rec center across the street that you can pay by the day. VERY nice Rec center! We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

We visited for the first time in August 2015. The price was a little higher than we usually pay, but we wanted to check out the park for our camping group. The rate we paid reflects a Good Sam 10% discount.

We're in a 40 foot motorhome with a pickup truck tow vehicle. We requested, and got, a 50 amp sight. We were guided to our site and had assistance in making our rig and truck fit, and still be able to reach the hookups.

The row we were in is a buddy row. Our door opened to the door of the rv next to us, (as opposed to our door opening to our next door neighbor's sewer connection.) We each had a picnic table and a section of lawn. If you were traveling with a club or another rv, this is an ideal layout.

The park is beautiful - clean, flowers, landscaping, bird feeders all over. Security/maintenance patrolled constantly. (Quietly)

The only down side for us, and it was slight, was that the asphalt site was uneven. We had an interesting time leveling, but were successful. But knowing that the pine tree roots are disrupting the smooth surface of the asphalt, we'd bring blocks next time. Easy fix. The park is worth it.

It's very close to downtown Truckee. Easy drive. I will say that I think that Truckee got a deal on roundabouts! They're everywhere! We had no trouble with them, even at our length. But they're just kind of a pain in general.

Nice forest areas to walk our dog. The park was quiet and welcoming. The lady in the office was really nice on arrival. We asked if we could extend our leaving time an hour because we were so close to our next park and couldn't arrive early. They were still nice and very accommodating, made it easy.

We would definitely camp here again. When you make reservations make sure to request a 50 amp site, if that's what you need. The park also has 20 amp sites. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Due to a problem with our tow dolly, we checked in without reservation for 2 nights. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Assigned a decent length pull thru site for our big rig with easy to connect utilities, including cable with a huge number of channels. Setting is beautiful with lots of trees, so satellite would not connect anyway. Park is pricey even with GS but we would recommend and would stay again. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Historic downtown Truckee was a fun bonus for an otherwise unscheduled stop. Marty's Cafe serves big, delicious meals with friendly service.

As an aside, our tow dolly was towed to Stone Tire, less than 1 mile away. We got 2 new tires and new rim in 2 hours at a fair price. Plus they returned it to our site. Definitely recommend Bob Stone's store.

Very nice park in among pine trees. Very good digital cable 50+ stations. WiFi good for email, with a long latency. Verizon signal 2-3 bars XLT, 20 mbps down. Park site are level. Sites are arranges in a North/South configuration. Just enough room for a Motor home and toad. Close to your neighbor. Not a bad place for an overnight stop. We were here on a shoulder season and did not have a neighbor. Did not use bathrooms or laundry. Right off I-80. Found park very well maintained. The sites are level and well maintained. Park can take large rigs as the sites are pull though, even with the N/S configuration. Although the park is pet friendly, the large grass areas were off limits to dogs. We did not use the laundry or bath house facilities. We would use this campground again. The staff is very nice and friendly. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nicely maintained park. Management is very friendly and considerate. Campsites are paved, with a picnic table and mature trees. There is cable TV, but if you still have an analog TV, hookup is tricky. Laundry room has six washers and dryers that charged the lowest price we've seen in our travels. Didn't visit the restrooms or showers, but the laundry room was spotless. We only stayed overnight. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
