This is one of our favorite campgrounds. There are only six sites with electric, water, picnic tables, and fire pits as well as a playground, volleyball court, horseshoes, and a gorgeous lake surrounded by weeping willow trees. There is tons of wildlife including geese, turkey, hawks, vultures, and raccoons. The dining facility allows everyone to eat there and serves really good food, especially the seafood buffet on Fridays at lunch. The only thing missing is a dump, but there is a dump station down the road. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Petaluma Lake RV Park (Military Camping Only) in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a tiny, 6-site RV campground located on the Coast Guard Station. It's well out into the county, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. Excellent WiFi. The dump station is on the base, about 1/2 mile away from the campground. If there were sewer hookups in the sites, it would be a 10! We would definitely stay here again. Ask for the sites on the inside loop, since they're closer to the WiFi and get better reception.

This is a military only facility! This is a small very nice campground laid out in a horseshoe with six spots. The spots are so big that two 40' RVs could park in each one, plenty of parking for all those extra vehicles people like to bring along. The lake area the campground is in is very nice with a walking path around the lake. In the morning the ducks and geese fly in and in the evening they fly back out, an impressive site to see. There is only 30amp service and no sewer at the sites, there is a dump station available. For those military folks I'm sorry there is no commissary on base, but there is a new exchange that is fairly stocked with the necessities, kind of a super stocked convenience store. There is a gas station close to the campground but no diesel. This was the second time we stayed here and will stay here again when we visit the San Francisco area being only 38 miles to the city. This is not the easiest place to get to which in my opinion is one of the recommendations. We camped at Petaluma Lake RV Park (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.Undo
