Great location down by the beach. we had a nice sunny site. The services are common between the sites which was a bit awkward for us, so it would be a good question to ask when you check in. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Fifth Wheel.

Lovely campsites with a short, easy walk to a beautiful beach. We could see the ocean from our site. Lots of dogs and kids in the park. Steep, narrow entrance into the park. The RV sites are gravel but with some dirt and growth, and since it rained during our stay, our site was a little muddy. Very nice park staff. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The whale festival was going on in nearby Fort Bragg and we were lucky enough to see a couple dozen whales from shore as they migrated north. If you have a tow vehicle, drive 10 miles north on Highway 1 to the Redwood Grove & Picnic Area. It's a misty little grove just off the highway where you can explore beautiful trails among old growth redwood trees along historic Cottoneva Creek. You'll likely have the grove all to yourself.

We had a "reunion" of 3 vehicles (5th wheel and 2 RV) coming from Washington State and Lake County to reunite childhood friends after 50 years. We spent 3 nights reminiscing around the fire pit taking plenty of pictures. The beach is private and wonderful. I wish their dog leash rule was a bit looser because dogs need to run and as long as owners manage their animal, there shouldn't need to be a leash. I had been to Westport in Nov, 2017 spending 2 weeks getting familiar with my new 5th wheel and decided the reunion would be perfect at Westport; so we returned and had a wonderful time. Fort Bragg is great to explore, see sites and eat out. Will return soon - a wonderfully restful and peaceful place to stay. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Eat at Silvers on the Wharf (dogs are allowed on patio and they have a dog menu). Eat at Dave's Cafe (I think) - have the best corned beef hash and are very accommodating, friendly personnel (gave us a table outside so our dogs could be with us - 7 people and 5 dogs).

Looks like a free for all campground, kids, dogs, people, cars, trucks, rv's everywhere. Sites are "marked" but it appears it doesn't matter. We had a back in site that was supposedly 40' and our 32' motorhome barely fit. Entrance on a curve and road to camp area is steep. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Motorhome.

Well, If you like access to a beach this is for you. Everything else is substandard. They have some nice sites but, they were empty the 7 days I was here. The sites are small: some that appear you should back into, you pull forward into and need a long sewer hose to hook up. Bring your dog shoes, they have bad stickers. Sites are very, very close. Below Highway 1 traffic not bad, but a few logging truck go by using their jake brakes. WIFI OK. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Motorhome.

Stayed 3 nights in our 30' coach over a weekend in August. The camp was packed with cars and rigs everywhere. We had a pull-thru site that was very narrow, so much so that when the trailer next to us put out their awning it was 30" from our door, and we couldn't use the fire pit for fear we'd burn down the motorhome. There were LOTS of children and LOTS of dogs, so it was pretty noisy most of the time. Nice beach though, and that was the campsite's saving grace. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Best to shop before you arrive, but there are a few necessary items in the store if you need them.

Ask for a space close to the ocean.

We also stayed at the sister park, Casper. It seems a little tacky to add a pay shower for such high prices to camp for the night but that's the price to pay for facilities along the coast. Great locations for both places. Camp host was responsive when we noticed a camper not picking up after his dog.

We don't have a tow vehicle. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Motorhome.

One of our pricier stops but for a site across the path from the sand of the beach, I'm not complaining! I made a request for a water view site and they accommodated as best they could. Locatd just below the highway bluffs. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Travel Trailer.

We loved it here so much we extended our stay! Nice store, clean restrooms, laundry facilities available. Fire ring and picnic table at site. The best part for us, though was being steps away from a very nice beach and the ocean. Every morning we could go out with our coffee and find abalone shell pieces.

The campground itself was very clean and the sites were spacious. The managers are the best! Fun and friendly! We would love, love, love to go back! We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is about 20 miles north of Ft. Bragg off Hiway 1 in a cove with ocean access. Sites are level and nicely sized. Some shrubs separate campsite providing a bit of privacy. Water and electric hookups worked fine. Wifi only works by the office but they provide a nice covered picnic table for wifi users. Beach is nice, but full of campers. There is a small store nearby with good sandwiches but campers are advised to bring all supplies with you as its a hard drive into town. Overpriced for what you get. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Tent Trailer.

Nice campground next to the beach, which is just over a small sand dune. If you want to walk on the beach and hear the ocean then this is a good place to be. Sites were close together, and as others said the hookups are in an odd spot and the sewer hookup is not attached firmly so it could come off. Pay showers were old but clean. For the location it is a 10 but overall about a 7. We would stay here again. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Motorhome.

Westport beach RV park is one of the NICEST parks we have ever stayed in during the two yrs we have been on the road. This treasure gem of a RV park is hidden in a valley ..so private and so quiet you feel like you have been transported to a magical place. From making the first phone call for reservations to helping us get settled in the office staff was amazing . The ocean views, your right on the beach , the privacy , and listening to the seals at night we will return to this beautiful treasure of an RV park on the beach . Once settled in this park you won't want to go anywhere. The beach at low tide is all the entertainment you will need during the day and sitting by your own fire ring at night listening to the ocean you will think you are in paradise .

We have stayed here in the past when it was a KOA. We found the park to be clean and the staff to be friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a spot that is a short walk from your trailer to the ocean then this is the place. The town of Westport is nearby, but has one small market and that's it. Fort Bragg is 15 miles down the road, and a pretty drive at that. Overall, for the two night stay it cost us 112.00, which is pretty pricey. They are no longer a KOA, which doesn't matter to us. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Travel Trailer.

This park is no longer a KOA. It is on the beach but that's about it. The place is a mess. When we were taken to our site, I asked the person if she was serious. Unfortunately she was. The sites are sloppy and not very defined. Trees that should be trimmed, are not. Rocks that should be moved, are not. It took me several attempts to back in. It was entertaining to watch others attempt to get into their sites. Mostly Californians in fifth wheelers. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.) The hook ups are in the wrong spots, we had to run our stuff under the coach and uphill, not good. All this for $60 a night. We will not return. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Motorhome.

The beach is just a short walk over a dune from the campground and Wages Creek flows through the park. We happened to be there over Mother's Day and the local Fire Dept held its annual rubber duck race and BBQ on site. It was a lot of fun to see the community spirit and it made our stay more memorable. This campground has nice grounds and beach access, but the buildings look tired. We didn't use the bathroom/shower facilities. The service hookups were not conveniently placed within the pad, but we made it work. It's pricey, but the location is unique and convenient to Ft. Bragg. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Travel Trailer.
