We stayed here in February for the first time. Space #13. The staff was very friendly, check in was easy and smooth. The Rangers leave at 6pm, but they give you a gate key for after hours access. We were about midway between the front of the park and the back. A little bit of road noise, but not too bad. Site was a single, level pull through. I say single as they have many sites that accommodate up to 3 RV's at a time, one right behind the other. Mainly for groups I think. Lots of trees in the older part of the CG up front, but not so much in the newer part of the campground in the rear. The magnificent views of the mountains in the back part of the CG makes up for the lack of shade. The park is bordered by private homes and a middle school. We did not hear a lot of noise from the school while we were there. The lakes looked really good, 2 fishing and one for swimming. The swimming lake was closed for the winter, but we will be back with the grandkids on the labor day weekend so that they can enjoy it. Sand beaches and a couple of nice looking waterslides. We camped at Yucaipa Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in a group site, which had 3 seperate hook ups for our campers. Plenty of nice green grass and a lot of room between camp sites. Employees came by every few hours to empty trash cans and the place is very clean. Utilities all worked well. The swim lake is located in the day use section so be prepared to go swimming with 3000 of your closest friends. If using the lake and water slide, avoid the long lines and go get your passes early. Did not use the campground restrooms or showers, prefer the privacy of my own coach, especially when hooked up to sewer. We camped at Yucaipa Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We have camped here over Memorial Day Weekend for the past several years with our church group, and the campground as a whole is beautiful and well-kept, with large campsites spaced far enough apart. There is a swimming area with giant water slides and paddle-boats for renting. The restrooms were well-stocked with soap and an air dryer. The problem – at least in the area where we camped – is that it was up against some residences, and – because it was in a newer area of the campground, there was very little (if any) shade. Even though campfires are allowed at most campsites, they are prohibited in the “new” area close to the residents. The swimming area is actually more of a lakeside beach than a pool and costs extra to use! In general, though, the campground is quiet and one I would recommend. We camped at Yucaipa Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

A nice park at the base of the San Bernardino mountains, sites are nice size and clean. A short drive to Oak Glen which is a fun place to go during apple picking season. Waterslides for kids in the summer. This is a small park so reservations can be a challenge, book early! We camped at Yucaipa Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Very nice campground with spacious sites. In the RV section (sites with hook-ups), the ones on the south loop are a bit more shaded. A great place for getting away from it all. Only negative, and it's a minor complaint, is that there is a school next door with an outdoor field where there are sometimes nightly games or functions. The night lights and sounds of these functions are definitely noticeable, particularly on the east side of the south loop. We camped at Yucaipa Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Great campground, well spaced sites with lots of grass in between. Concrete pads next to the RV pad. Water Park is seasonal, fishing lakes are year round. About 15 minutes to apple orchards. Nearby shopping with new centers going up close to the Regional Park. We will go back. We camped at Yucaipa Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Clean quiet campground very easy to get to. There are a couple of lakes, open area and a water park in the summer, but they are far away from the RV sites. The RV sites are right next to a community park, so the bright baseball field lights are often on at night and usually activities going on right next to the site. Sites reserve far ahead time. Great for camping if you are concerned about going to far and being away from amenities- there are many stores within 5-minute drive. We camped at Yucaipa Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.
