We were looking for a quick 1 night stop to sleep, so this place worked, but that is about it. No dumpsters or garbage cans. Dirt lot. For what this place was the $30 a night was pretty expensive. We would not go back. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Motorhome.

Read the poor reviews and believe them. A dirt lot that turns into a soupy mud hole if it rains. The only bathroom available is inside the residence. Additionally, they no longer even provide WiFi. I've stayed in much better parks for less money. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park is better than any park we have stayed at between Pueblo & Pagosa Springs. Wide driveways that are easy to maneuver with new gravel on each road & site. Good wifi, good 50 amps. We chose a pull thru at the back so it was a large quiet site. Lots of rabbits which are fun to watch. A very nice KOA for a day or two. Very nice personnel. Definitely a place we will return when in the area. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Trash not picked up regularly. No gravel, turns into a mud pit when it rains. Our rig sunk in the mud when we pulled in. Owner out of state and current manager doesn't have a clue. The "playground" is an old broken down backyard swing set that is not safe for kids to play on. They said they had good wifi, but it was not. We ended up using our hotspot to check email. No cable. The only shower/ bathroom they offer is in the owners house. The well water is non filtered and smells of sulfur badly. Our inline filter couldn't even help with the smell. We had to use bottled water during our stay. Not a place we will stay at again. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Very basic, just a dirt lot with level sites. Certainly overpriced for what you get, but there's no other game in town during winter. Nice people. Free Internet/WiFi, but it's pretty slow. Location shown here on RVparkReviews' map is correct. The place Google has marked (down the road) is wrong, and if you use Google Maps to navigate you here at night, you'll miss your turn. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great Sand Dunes National Park just up the road. Also lots of sandhill cranes during migration season.

Not much here but a place to park, but that is what we needed and it all worked. Nice folks at the "office" which also seems to be their home. It's all for sale and needs some care, but for an overnight it was ok. Shower/rest room is in a small vacant house that's left open. Had a bit of snow the night we were there and the lot turned to muck in the morning as it melted. A bit of gravel would help a lot but mud probably isn't a big worry where you get only 7.5in. of precipitation a year. There is a go-kart track in the same lot. Would not want to be there when that is operating. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Motorhome.

Just Don't! Grossly overpriced. Several test holes for drainage were about 15 feet from our slideouts. At 7 p.m., without warning, a skid steer (tractor) backfilled the holes sending billows of dust against our rig. I'd just had my TV detailed. Took pictures of a guy standing right at our trailer giving directions to the machine operator who came within ten or so feet from us. This went on for nearly a half an hour. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very pleasant and helpful at office. Disappointed that price a gone up from previous reviews. Very open, only water/electric, we doubled on a site and had to use the 20Amp. Plenty of open space to site rigs of any size. Go carts not currently operating. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Good for a stopover. Restrooms & Showers is an over statement. There is one private bath in a building. It seemed clean except of the mold and mildew. It's a tub with shower, toilet and sink, small. The Site is more dirt than gravel but it was level. The park roads are the same. There is no Internet. We had a street light right beside us. There are two in the park. We didn't notice and road noise although the park is right beside US 160. Staff was friendly. We stayed for two nights on our way to South Fork. Park is up for sale. Good stop for the night. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Motorhome.

Nothing special, all dirt sites, but level. They do have a dump station, but no water there for flushing. Bathrooms needed a good cleaning. Park is up for sale. We camped at Alamosa Economy Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
