This is a return stay at Tiger Run. It's an immaculate facility in a beautiful location. A bit more expensive than most parks, but well worth it. Lots of shade, a river running through it, and large indoor pool with two hot tubs, gym, showers, and game room. The sites are owned by a individual, but are rented out and managed by the park when the owner is not using it. Each site is separated from one another by a small row of trees and has a large concrete parking area, with grass lot beside it. They also have numerous cabins for rent at a reasonable price, so we have friends without RVs stay here with us. Even though it is just off the highway, road noise is minimal. Depending on how the owner set it up, your site may have a small pavilion or shed with covered roof out front. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Breckenridge and nearby Frisco are amazing towns. There is a free bus that will take your from the front of the resort to downtown Breckenridge. In the summer there are many activities up on the Breckenridge ski area with a free gondola that takes you up there from downtown. LOTS of gorgeous hiking and mountain biking in this area. This area has a very rich mining history as well, and old remnants of that era can be seen everywhere.

The park is in a beautiful setting close (6 miles) to Breckenridge (one of the prettiest mtn. towns in CO) hence the California pricing. The park is neat and clean but the sites are close together. Bathrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained as is the pool & hot tub. River sites have nice views of the mountains opposite, and there is a hiking trailhead near the back of the resort. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Super nice place. We stayed only one night passing through, and were very tempted to stay longer, and would have if not for prior commitments. I have not stayed in an RV park as nice overall as Tiger Run. Beautiful scenery, beautiful sites, tons of amenities, etc. We so badly wish that we could have stayed longer, as we didn't really even explore the park, clubhouse, etc. Our site was not perfectly level, but leveling up wasn't difficult. The grass was in great shape, as well as all of the landscaping throughout the park. The office staff were nice. As an owner park, there are certainly a higher percentage of people firmly in place, as opposed to frequent turnover of sites each morning. There were some high dollar rigs in this park, as well as many nice-looking cabins. I didn't see anything at all in this park that would detract from the rating. The price is high, yes. But for what it is, and where it is, that is "the going rate". We would return to this park and spend as much time as we could in the future, gladly. Tiger Run is in my top 2 of RV parks visited in my travels, mainly because of how picturesque it is. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We explored Frisco to the North. Beautiful Main Street. We had dinner at 5th Avenue Grille, and sat at an "out of the way" table on the outdoor patio, with our small dogs sitting at the foot of our table. They loved sitting and people watching. The food was excellent. A person could spend a day exploring the several blocks of Main Street Frisco.

Overall Rating:

Beautifully landscaped park with close access to Breckinridge and Frisco. The pool and clubhouse were lovely and clean. We enjoyed our first 2 nights at a pull thru site with lots of shade, good wifi and cable. We had to change spots and were very disappointed with the lack of shade, broken cable connection and many barking dogs. Management was friendly but did little to address our concerns. As they said, they have excellent relationships with the owners of permanent sites and although apologetic about dogs, broken cable connection etc. did nothing to address our concerns as we rented a site for 3 nights. It appears this is the only park in this area so we appreciated the cleanliness, nice grounds and easy access to attractions. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The spots on Club house row are busy and noisy, the views are blocked with cargo trailers etc. Not all spots have fire rings. There are a lot of ants here, if staying a long time put down some repellant. Frisco is close by and has a Walmart and Safeway. Down town Frisco is very cute and is worth seeing. The Island Grille at Frisco bay is excellent and the views are beautiful.

This is one of the prettiest private parks we have stayed at. The sites are concrete, very large, mostly level, well-spaced and well-screened from other each other. The entire park is beautifully landscaped. The clubhouse has a game room, indoor pool, and shower facilities, all very well appointed and maintained. The park is very large, with the only bathrooms being in the clubhouse, so it could be a bit of a walk depending on what site you are in. There are only three showers and a single restroom in the Men's room, which seems like too few given the size of the park. We were not able to connect to WiFi. The park is very convenient to Breckenridge. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We are Denver locals and stay here often. It is well run and maintained albeit a bit on the expensive side with the cheapest sites being 79. The paved bike trail is just across from the main entrance and provides great rides to Breckenridge and Frisco. The grounds are well maintained with nice paved roads. The showers are clean but small, the pool and hot tubs area are nice and recently updated. The landscape is mature and pretty. Nice place to stay. Overpriced, now all sites have been sub let and Tiger Run admin merely resells vacant lots.

Dog Dirt all over our site, had to call and wait for someone to come and clear it up.

Probably not enough room to get awning and slide out.

They know they are the only option for 20 miles in the winter time. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Tiger Run is a really nice RV resort. We definitely recommend it if you are in the area. It is 5 minutes from the slopes of Breck, 15 min to Keystone, 10 to Frisco. Everything is very close. There is a dog sledding and snowmobiling place 10 minutes down the Tiger Rd from them as well. They have a great location. The facilities are great. The laundry room, showers, restrooms, all are in great shape and kept clean. The staff are all very friendly and always out fixing something or making sure everything is running smoothly within the park. The staff at the office are also very friendly and helpful. It smells of smoke quite often when you go in there to get mail or something else, but if you aren't spending much time int here, then it is of no concern. The spots are all great, and provide for a pretty scenery and good hook-ups. There is a pretty trail that leads along the river that is beautiful and provides a great spot for walking within the resort. We stayed for 2 months while skiing in the area. We had a monthly rate, and then had to pay electricity on top of that. Overall, it wasn't a bad deal. The staff was great, but we did not have good experiences with many of the people that live there full time or own the cottages. All the sites are owned privately and rented out. I don't think they enjoyed the travel trailers being there, since many have cottages. Not an unfriendly vibe, just not friendly, if that makes sense. We were there for longer than most, so that might be why we noticed. Overall, we definitely recommend this resort! We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A beautiful park but only a few “standard” RV sites amongst all of the permanent mobile home size chalets. Most available sites were the $55 and up, $70 in the summer. Grounds were nice grass with paved roads and concrete pads. Pool was indoors but was locked. We couldn’t reach anyone by phone when we had difficulty finding the laundry in the evening. Our site was along the Swan River, which was a pleasant rocky alpine open creek. This was overall a nice upscale park in the open spaces about 5 miles north of downtown Breckenridge We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice RV/cabin community. The space we rented was on the narrow Swan River that runs through one end of the park. Very beautiful setting. Our space was situated between two cabins or chalets. Beautiful landscaping, nice paved streets, easy access. Would stay here again. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was a decent park. Staff was friendly and the children enjoyed the pool and other kid friendly activities. Park itself is nice and spaces have an adequate amount of space. They really need to fix their side walks however. This is an accident waiting to happen. Overall, nothing impressive, but nothing exceptional except the views: they were amazing. A little pricey for what you get though. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is stuffy. The staff is not rude, but they aren't friendly either. They didn't even say hello when my wife went to look at things for sale. The campsite is nice, but doesn't have the natural feel you get at others. No fires are permitted and the dumpsters were a drive away. This is the only park in Summit County, so there's not much choice. We will probably stay somewhere else next time even though it means more driving. This is a great park - great location, wonderful sites. Yes, it's expensive, but it is safe, clean, beautiful, with fabulous views and two rivers running through it. Paved streets and paved level lots that are large - count me in! Since each spot is privately owned, there will be some variation in the overall landscaping and maintenance of such. But, there weren't any that were horrible or unacceptable. Certainly better than almost anywhere you can camp. Huge laundry room with lots of washers and dryers - well maintained clubhouse and indoor pool/jacuzzi. Yes, I wish they had more garbage cans (only one place in park where you can deposit your trash), but we were here in the summer and didn't mind the walk. Lots of lots for sale, but this seems mostly because when the original developer finished and got out a couple of years ago, he had a "fire sale" on the remaining lots. Many folks already in the park bought up these lots for a song, and are now selling and hoping to make a tidy profit. I have no quarrel with that. And, I'm sure there are others that bought here and then couldn't get here as often as they thought they would and are now selling. Or, elderly couples who bought and one of them grew ill or passed away. This is quite a common occurrence with RV's and RV lots as most of you know. We really enjoyed our time at Tiger Run - we rode our bikes into Breckenridge every day on a paved path. Now that was worth the price right there! We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park. Nicely landscaped. Clean. Nice indoor pool. It is very much an upscale resort park and camping in our 25 foot hybrid trailer, it made us actually a little uptight and not relaxed, but this is probably more our problem than their's. Lovely area. You can't go wrong here. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
