We planned our 7 week trip around staying here for a week, and ended up loving the towns, but were disappointed in the "resort". The layout is good, but there are too many "chalets" (aka park models), on the same sized lots as an RV. These "chalets" are allowed side porches and enclosed sunrooms, so when all is said and done, it looks like a crowded group of log cabin vacation homes, and the illusion of open spaces is gone. Other than that, the reception staff was friendly and helpful, as was the grounds and maintenance workers. The wifi was almost nonexistent (which we were warned about by the reception staff upon check-in) due to the high number of users who were streaming movies. There is one trash dumpster for the entire resort, and it is quite a hike to get there (I was told there used to be four). Because the sites are so close together, when one camper has a cook-out, the next door neighbor's RV fills with smoke (or easily could). We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tiger Run is one of the nicest RV Parks we have visited. But for a high end park the folks here have discovered that since the demand for spaces here is high, they don't need to worry much about service. Examples include no notification that they were going to turn off water for a day. When washing machines break their answer is "we're not responsible and you are on your own". WiFi was not functional. Management says call WiFi company. WiFi company says call park management. Water pressure was so low that we had to use on-board tanks and pump. (perhaps related to why they turned off water for a day?) Our site was a back-in, and was long enough that we could park our car sideways behind the RV. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a nice hiking trail behind the park, and there is access to the bike trail system across the highway next to the park. Getting a space is a challenge because of the demand. I started calling a year in advance and called them every month. Like many parks, you can probably expect the cost to increase 25% each year for the foreseeable future.

Liked it but did not love it. Pool said only for owners. Next time we would probably find something different. Water pressure at our spot (279) was bad. Twice it was turned off and not by me. A couple grumpily locals there. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very pretty, well-kept park. We just stayed here overnight so we didn't take advantage of the extra amenities. It seems to have a lot more chalets than it does RV sites. Our site was level, nicely situated, and would be very pleasant to sit outside (had it not been raining). However, there was not enough space to leave the car hooked up. There is a small dog enclosure with grass and a small dog walking loop. There is access to a narrow trail, but we didn't have an opportunity to try it. We would stay here again. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Location location. Being so close to the popular town of Breckenridge I guess makes it ok to pay the price but in reality for the money we were disappointed in the amenities. The sites are nice but there is some road noise, the gym is old & outdated, the pool is indoors and nothing special but ok and did I say the sites are nice. We stayed in a premium back in for a week and then moved to a basic pull through for a week. The pull throughs are like any you would find in most average parks but the back in premium site was very nice with privacy. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Because of the price of this RV park, my expectations were high. The park itself was very nice but the showers were not clean. There was trash and hair in the shower stall. Also, we got two entry cards when we checked in but only one of them worked for the entry gate and the door to the clubhouse. The laundry room was nice but crowded. There was a mixup on our reservation and our site was double booked the third day we were there. It wasn't a problem for us but I don't know what happened to the other family. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautifully landscaped park with close access to Breckinridge and Frisco. The pool and clubhouse were lovely and clean. We enjoyed our first 2 nights at a pull thru site with lots of shade, good wifi and cable. We had to change spots and were very disappointed with the lack of shade, broken cable connection and many barking dogs. Management was friendly but did little to address our concerns. As they said, they have excellent relationships with the owners of permanent sites and although apologetic about dogs, broken cable connection etc. did nothing to address our concerns as we rented a site for 3 nights. It appears this is the only park in this area so we appreciated the cleanliness, nice grounds and easy access to attractions. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The spots on Club house row are busy and noisy, the views are blocked with cargo trailers etc. Not all spots have fire rings. There are a lot of ants here, if staying a long time put down some repellant. Frisco is close by and has a Walmart and Safeway. Down town Frisco is very cute and is worth seeing. The Island Grille at Frisco bay is excellent and the views are beautiful.

High price comes from being only available commercial RV park in the area. Tiger Run is a RV condo with some spots rented on behalf of absent owners. It has many recreational facilities that short-termers will probably not use, including heated pool, tennis, volleyball, etc. Blue River sites are along a babbling brook but get a lot of traffic noise from SR9 on the other side of the river. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Family owned Hispanic restarant in nearby Frisco, Hacienda Real. Frisco has many good eateries, including Vinnies, plus abundant shopping, businesses and dispensaries.

This is a very nice campground with many permanent cabins. The sites are privately owned and rented out by owners through the management company. The fee split seems to be 60% to owners and 40% to the management company. That may account for the high price, plus there may not be any other campgrounds nearby.

We were next to the last spot on our row and it is a hike to get back to the office or out to the street to catch the free bus to Frisco and Breckenridge.

Lots of dogs, so lots of barking! Owners were present but when one dog sees another, they bark.

We received one key to get into the clubhouse to use laundry facilities, pool, and bathrooms. My husband couldn't believe there was only one toilet in the men's bathroom for a campground this size. The whole clubhouse reeks of chlorine, which was nauseating as I waited for our laundry to be finished.

The trash and recycling bins were almost impossible to find as they were hidden so well. One would think with a campground this size and the fees they charge, they would pick up the trash.

The WIFI was spotty - don't count on using it. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice RV resort. All sites are owned by others, then rented by resort staff (if they opt to rent them at all). Resort includes owner cabins as well. Very clean, with asphalt roads, concrete sites and grass for picnic table. Poll with tennis courts, hiking trails, two small rivers (large creeks) run through the complex. Very pleasant to stay here. Only 10 minute drive into Breckenridge or Frisco. Golfed at nearby Breckenridge golf course. Nearby towns & lakes to visit and plenty of bike trails. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Took our new (2012) RV to Breckenridge for a our first real camping experience. Really liked the campground, had a great spot in a very nice site by the river - we paid a premium for that particular site as we had family visiting/staying with us from Australia and wanted a good location. Campground conveniently located to downtown. Lots of cabins in the park, not many RVs as it wasn't peak season. Didn't use the pool (closed) or the big public fire pit. Would return to this campground in either summer or winter if we were feeling brave enough to winter camp. Yes, it's pricey, but that's probably to be expected in a destination like this, don't know of any ski towns that aren't! We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our third visit over the last 8 years. Park is the only one in town with full hookups. Seems to be a little rundown now. Noticed more permanent residents. Large propane tanks and toys. Some of the chalets are looking tired. Clubhouse needs updating. Wi-Fi is TengoInternet that they give you coupons to use, and it is not too fast or reliable. No cable TV. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a a very pretty campground. Very friendly. Lots of children around. However the bathrooms were not clean. The campground states wifi access but with the large amount of people in the campground it is almost impossible to access the wifi. No cable tv access. The office said it has been working on that for the last 2 years. So, if you are looking for a place to enjoy the scenery, and the other campers but are not looking for wifi access or cable tv then this place will work for you. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects discount - stay 6 nights, get 7th free. Back in site was level with concrete pad; water pressure, sewerage, electric were fine. Constructions along road at entrance was only an inconvenience until they cut through power line and we lost electric the last day were were there; had to run generator to charge batteries. Lot to do in the area at the time, including the USA Pro bicycle racing. Pricey for the amenities offered, probably due to location. This is an RV community that rents out sites when owners are not there. Outstanding area if you like bicycling. Staff professional, polite, and informative. Would stay here again if in area. The park is located in a great location and overall it is the best in the area. The sites were level, easy to get in and out, and sites were large. The resort is not very pet friendly because of the lack of green space. Two green areas were posted as "no dogs allowed" and the lack of green space around the sites make it difficult to walk your dog. The one area we found for dogs was located by the club house and many owners did not pick up after their pets. Very little grass here either, mostly gravel. The owners are not very friendly, we wave, greet them, and we get no response. The office staff were very friendly and check-in was easy. Great bike paths in the area and access from the resort was easy. The resort felt closed-in with cabins, park-models, coaches, trailers, golf carts, boat trailers, and multiple cars on sites. I would stay here again only because of the location and lack of alternatives. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.
