Free camping for the first night, nice, the websiter made me put in something other than $0! The dump station donation box was open so even that could not collect money. Almost everyone at the campground that night were passing through so we did not see the junky RV's that have been in previous comments. A very nice park with a pond across the street. Lots of activities for kids during the summer. Saw the police pull though one time. Some of the sites seemed to share water service, it was below freezing at night so we filled our on-board water tank versus hooking up. The dump site was very convenient. Packed dirt parking with your door opening into a very wide lot that includes campground traffic. RV's are parked end to end. We used a single block on the front to level so it was close Due to the cold did not walk to the showers. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We were out of luck since other campground were full. In all honesty we hadn't planned properly for this leg of our trip so finding this place as a free site for one day was great. I mean come on, free camping for the first night and free power and water and sewer with donation only? If you stay past one night, they ask 20 dollars but since we were leaving each day to practice for our disc golf tournament, we were not comfortable that someone wouldn't come in and swipe our spots. No attendant on site but local police patrols frequently. It seems there are a combination of local down and out people, out of town workers, and recreational RVers here. Much less sketchy than the local park campground only a few exits west but we didn't want to stay more than one night. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is fine for an overnighted. The sites are dirt but fairly level. There is water at some sites and electric at all. There is a bathroom code to prevent vandalism but we did not use the facility. Just pull in and select a spot, get an envelope and drop in box. The first night is free. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This place has potential. It is right next to the municipal park which has some nice amenities. And it looks like some improvements are in progress. We called late on a Saturday afternoon and were connected to police dispatch. An officer returned our call within an hour (very, very nice but honestly, he didn't know much). Anyway, we did not stay. It was just too trashy so we dumped and filled and moved on to Walmart. Broken utilities and many crummy, run down rigs. People staring at us from behind their curtains. Poor grading so big puddles and mud. The information board had a list of events from last year. It is just a small gravel loop, some sites have picnic tables on the utilities side but there is nothing but a narrow strip of weeds. The patio side is right on the road. So overall, quite neglected - maybe we were a little too early in the season. I bet it would be nice in the summer when the park is open, if they cleaned it up and did some landscaping. But they need some social services to help the homeless people there. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed at the campground Saturday June 3rd. We arrived at 9pm and there were a couple spots open. We only needed 30A AC for A/C, so we were set. Couple tent spots and a few RV spots with 50A service also available. Price was right since we were only staying the night (FREE). Area is dirt and gravel on a big loop. When on I-76, take the 90A or 90B exit (depends on direction) and head south on 71. Go straight down until you have to turn right (there are RV blue signs). Turn left to go south again. You will go over the railroad tracks. On the return home, we tried to stay again, but a lot of single vehicles parking in the RV spots. Will be contacting the city on need to enforce the number of vehicles per RV rule. Not much to do.... there is a bar and bakery within walking distance. A short drive to Drovers Restaurant for breakfast. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Simple city park, first night is free. 20/30/50 electric available. Most of the 50 amp hook ups are around the center island. Water pickets spread throughout, as well a dump and fill station. Bathrooms standard city park bathrooms, no doors on stalls. Gravel drive, some shade. Quite a few locals come to the park and fill up large water containers. Good for a overnight, not much to do around the town. Couple restaurants, bars, and a grocery store. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is a good option for an overnight stay. The best part is that it's free for the first night! The campground is next to the city park, which features an outdoor public swimming pool ($2 a day). The pool also has evening swims on Wednesdays. There are public showers nearby which we assumed could be used by campers. The park also features the local history museum, but it wasn't open when we were there (and their hours aren't advertised). The campground has probably 16 spaces (not 60, which you may have read on the Brush city's website). The outside spots have 20 amp hook ups, and the interior spots have 30 amps. Some of the interior spots also had water hook ups. There are a couple of dedicated spaces for tenters. There were only a couple of 30-amp spaces available when we arrived in mid afternoon on a Tuesday. Most of the spaces are occupied by longer-term campers (they may be workers?). The park has a bit of a "sketchy" feel to it, but we did see the local police come through to check up on things. The campground is located on Clayton St, south of the main section of town and the train tracks. The trains are quite frequent, long, and loud at night. The campground is only a 10-minute walk to restaurants and shops in the downtown area. Overall, this park is a good value for a one-night stopover, and we would stay here again. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The park is located on Clayton St, south of Hwy 36. The swimming pool in the park is a great bonus for a hot summer's day. We ate dinner at El Jacal Mexican restaurant, a 10-minute walk from the campground, near the corner of Hwy 36 and Clayton St (the downtown area). It was quite good. Be sure to stop at the Rising Sun Bakery in the same downtown area. The doughnuts are some of the best we've ever had!

The lot arrangement is strange, we parallel parked the rig! This is a city run park and the first night is free. The second night was $20.00. This is a great service from the city of Brush as it is a win win for campers and local businesses. The weather was nasty but there was a very nice park and if you braved the cold, you could watch Little League baseball. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Look, I marked this site with an overall rating of excellent not because the park itself is excellent (it's just okay), but because the value and convenience is definitely there.

Brush is a very small town in the middle of nowhere, Colorado. You would think that the town would maximize on revenue from the park...but they don't. They offer a really amazing service...first night free...thereafter, it's $20.

We stayed one night in September and were so grateful to have a place to plug in and escape the heat for the night.

The campground is directly across from their small fair grounds and the night we stayed the community was out for a local event. There was music in the air but it quieted down by around 9 or 10 in the evening. The trains ran all night, but hey...who complains when you can stay for free?

We were able to walk into town and get a bite to eat at a local sports bar. I wish I had written down the name. The people were friendly and because we didn't have to pay for the spot, we felt very generous with the server.

Overall, we would definitely stay here again if passing through. Thanks, Brush! We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very basic City Park. The 1st night is FREE, $20 a nite after that. Near the grassy area of the park, near the park pool. Some 15 amp, mostly 30 amp & a few 50 (which were all taken by long terms while we were there). Safe area, and you can't beat the price if just passing through! .We came in early in the afternoon and barely fit in a spot. There are random 30 amp spots and random water access spots. Those are taken by construction workers who are semi-permanent. (One said they've been here for 2 months.) There are other random spots with household outlets. While we were here several other RV's like us (travelers) came through, but left after seeing no place to park. That is unfortunate because were it not for the construction workers who have set up long term, this would be a nice day or two stopover for traveling RV'ers. It appears that the city doesn't pay much attention either, since repairs were needed and we couldn't even find a form or envelope to leave payment. We'd stay here again on a one nighter, but will make sure we get here early enough in the afternoon to get the one or two spots open, and even that is a crap shoot. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a clean park with frequent train noise. Sites are dirt, near level. A row of trees gives some shade. Roads are dirt, wide in most places, but narrowing at one turn. Verizon data service download speed (kB/s): max 169, typical 50. The first night is free; each additional night is $20 up to a limit of 7 nights. Payment is self-registration, cash only. The entrance is at 40.24908 -103.62334, marked by a sign on the opposite side of the road. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.

As others have said the first night is free. I remembered this park from a previous pass through the area and stopped to take a mid-day break. Basically it is a large gravel lot. Spaces are back in only. Very dusty with any wind. They used to have some picnic tables but there were none in place. Some construction by the city going on on the perimeter so maybe they have been removed for the work. Not all sites have hook ups. Check the website for details. I'm sitting here sweltering in the 90+ heat. 30 amp only and very low voltage; right now 99 volts. I may have to turn on my generator. Gravel road. Parallel parking. Not much going for it. I'm out of here tomorrow and will not return. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here before and will stay again. The price is $0 for the first night and $10 for the second. We always stay 2 nights so the price reflects the $10 for two nights. I did not use the shower and can not remember if there is one. The bathrooms are clean. This is a pretty basic park with no frills - but great for the price. The sites are parallel, level and have electric hook-ups. There is a dump and fresh water available. We recommend that you park on the E side of the trees so that you'll be shaded in the afternoon sun. Beautiful library in town, we biked around the town one day. We camped at Brush Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.
