Stayed for one night for a quick vacation. Other cabins in the area were all booked up but this was available. Rate is for 4 adults in one of the "cottages". The cabin was small but clean and comfortable for our group. There is some structural issues with the unit we stayed in where the entire building slopes down towards the front. All the facilities in the cottage were clean and up to date. We would probably not stay here again since the price was much higher than other cabins in the area and smaller than other cabins/cottages. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Cabin.

Space backed up to a wooded area, plenty wide enough and well maintained. Beautiful views of mountains. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

We were traveling through Colorado and needed a place for the night. Unfortunately we picked Arrowhead point the same weekend as families with hoards of small children descended on the place. Extremely noisy and our spot (tight back in) was right between the volleyball court and the basketball court. Numerous stray volleyballs made it under our unit requiring a retrieval by either one of the players or ourselves. We are NOT anti children but the mix of the campground of folks in tents, small campers, etc made for a miserable experience. The layout of the park has at least 3 levels with some nice wide spots (with sewers) all the way to small back in spots where you can literally touch your neighbors unit through your window.

We stayed at Arrowhead Point RV park in September 2016 in a 29 ft travel trailer. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

This is a well maintained campground with helpful and friendly staff at check in, we also had a helpful escort to our site. Interior roads are dirt/gravel, rutted in places and needed some maintenance. Big rig access was just fair. Our site was a long level gravel pull through but not very wide, there was space however for our towed behind our RV, not much privacy between sites. We had a picnic table and a fire ring. There was a little road noise during the day, but it was very quiet at night. We had a wonderful view of the mountains from our RV, so pretty. The bathrooms were modern and clean and the laundry was well equipped and clean. Pet friendly with a large pet walk area. Wifi and cell were good. There are some food stores in Buena Vista (I liked the small clean and well stocked City Market), as well as a few places to eat. As for sightseeing so many places to visit, the list is just endless. We would stay here again, despite the dusty roads. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Arrowhead Point for 5 days. We found the grounds to be clean and well maintained. We like sites 1-7 that back up to a hillside and are very spacious.. They have afternoon shade.

The laundry facilities are clean and not too expensive for a quick load. There is road noise, but all the parks in BV are located on the highway. It didn't bother us for it quiets down in the evening. Good wifi & AT&T phone service. Cable was good but very limited, but did the job of getting us the morning & evening news. Many returning visitors.

The staff does a great job in maintaining & cleaning the campground. They are friendly and ready to help you.

The owners are polite but not very friendly.

We will return to Arrowhead Point when we return to BV next summer. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

The price is with Good Sam discount plus taxes and fees. (For this price, you wouldn't think they would have pay showers.) Escort is provided to site. The park has sites of varying lengths spread over several tiers of hills. Sites themselves are level gravel with grass in between. Roads are mostly fine gravel/sand. There are both pull-throughs and back-ins. Some sites back up to a shaded hillside, pull-throughs are in the open, although there are young trees that have been planted between the sites. There are also a lot of cabins and tent sites. Wi Fi worked great; cable TV reception was a bit fuzzy. Our Verizon voice and data service was spotty and weak. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

This park is 5 miles north of town, so a little inconvenient for things in town and seems like most activities, zip lining, rafting, hot springs, etc. are south of town, so a little off the track. But just to the north is Leadville and the road to Aspen, so just depends on what you want to do. Check in was friendly and quick. They charge an extra $ 10.00 for reservations made one line. Site was really good, wide, level gravel with a large sitting area with picnic table and fire ring. Utilities good, easy hook up. Cable TV included but limited, analog only, stations. We could not get any Verizon signals, not even for phones. While this is a nice park, for the money and convenience to town, we would stay elsewhere next time. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Friendly owners. We were there for an RV rally. Pavilion was great but the time we were there it was a little cold. The inside room they had was too small for a rally the size of ours (20 rigs). So no card or game playing. It was a clean park. Pool filled in. Do have small cabins and yurts. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 2 nights and the campground is very well run. We were in the 30 amp area with no cable due to 2 rallies being held there. These sites were easy to access and we were led to the site by one of the employees. The owners are very good to deal with. The views are great and although we were close to the highway the noise was not noticable after about 5:oo pm. We will be staying there again and are looking at having a rally there next spring. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Great views of the surrounding mountains from most rv sites. Park and sites are gravel and sites have reasonable spacing so that you can use slides and awnings. Picnic table and firepit at each site. Most of the rv parks in Buena Vista are gravel/dirt and the major difference is the view. We have stayed in some of the others and this is the best view. Wifi and cable available, but not very many channels. Very friendly staff and they have a great espresso machine that does the best coffee, even better than Starbucks. This is our choice for BV. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Overall visit was good. Park was clean & maintained in spite of being very busy. The store had a decent selection of RV supplies and a rather large selection of "gift" shop items, but was very limited on grocery items (i.e. buns bread, etc). Didn't use the showers but they are "pay type" and require $1.25 for 7 minutes. Glad we were in a full hook up site. The on-line map isn't specific enough about just what a "premium" site includes. Rates and map could be better coordinated to avoid confusion. Our site was a "premium" but didn't have "cable". Satellite signal was good and the campground WiFi had a strong signal even though we were at the extreme end of the park. Staff advised "premium" is any site with 50amp service even though most all are equipped with 50, 30, & 20. If you are a 30amp unit you will pay the premium charge if in a site with 50amp available. Staff was OK, maintenance guys were great. "Pet Friendly". Good Sam discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount. We stayed a week and a day in a Travel Trailer. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is centrally located to just about anything you could think of to do. Closest fishing is about 10 miles up the road. Jeep & ATV trails just a hop, skip, & jump away. Sight seeing is right out the park entrance. Easy day trips to Leadville, Fairplay, Aspen & Salida. Stop in Buena Vista or Leadville for groceries, wine, & spirits. Have lunch or dinner at the Branding Iron in Buena Vista.

Fantastic park, Clean park and facilities. Best Wi-Fi of any park I have ever been at in 30 states. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Wonderful views of central Colorado high mountains. This is the park you want in Buena Vista. Stayed in a 40ft RV with no issue with space. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

As always, a wonderful place to stay. We disconnect our toad in front of the office, and were led easily to our back in, gravel, level FHU site. Nice rocks and some plantings provide some separation between sites. Cathy and Joe, the owners and managers, are friendly, efficient, and ever pleasant. You will always observe them and the clean cut workkampers busily taking care of the campground. Nice views of the mountains, lots of hummingbirds, easy access to Highway 24 about 5 miles north of Buena Vista. It's an easy bike ride to town. There's also a beautiful and easily accessed ride/drive/walk just behind (west of) the campground by the Heckendorf Elk Reserve. Grounds are kept immaculately, and the landscaping has been improved again this year with more plantings. WiFi, which has been upgraded also since last year (no Tengo!), was strong but could slow during the weekend high use. I had trouble with Verizon cell phone service. Water and electric were strong and steady. Unthreaded sewer hookup. Cable TV was included in our site price. Not much over the air TV to be found now that Chaffee County TV translator went off the air in 2014 after not being able to make the Federally mandated digital transition without Federal funds. Lots of jeep fans here. We had a weekly rate then plus Good Sam. We will stay again. We camped here in a motorhome for 9 nights. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Arrived without reservations and got the last 30 amp, no cable (no 'air TV' available), FHU site available. Entrance and Escort to your site is interesting in a 36'; be certain to disconnect your toad at the Office. Parking is easy. Nice folks to work with. Modern campground and they are still improving it. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. They are putting in cable, and a few sites have it available. Clean and neat, very friendly staff. Owners try to make your stay smooth and easy. Allowed us to check in early, due to weather issues. Just a note, we were charged an extra $10.00 for making online reservations, and the showers are $3.75 to start. We will definitely return. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.
