This "park" is a bit overrated. I'll start by admitting it has some of the features of a classic RV Park. There are about 12 fairly level gravel and sand sites (it rained while we were unhooking to leave and we tracked a lot of sand into the RV) with 30/50A service, water and sewer hookups, and cable TV. WI-FI is included in the fee and seemed fairly fast. And the cost was only $25. Here's where the "pro's" end. That's it... no other amenities. If you're looking for a spot to stop for the night, hook up, and stay in your RV, this is a bargain. If looking for anything else, keep looking! By the way for pet owners, stickers abound, so your pets will need a lot of help on your walks. We camped at Burlington RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a destination RV Park, it is merely a safe place in which to park for a night or two. The owner is very friendly, and I originally asked her if there were any "better" parks around, then decided after talking to her that we would stay. She is working very hard to make this park better and better. There seem to be 13 sites, and I'm not sure if they all have 50 amp, but ours did and it worked well. Good water pressure, level sites that were long enough and some newly planted trees that she is babying so they will provide shade some day. It is off the Rose Ave exit of I-70 and close to I-70 but the noise wasn't bad and I didn't hear any trains! We pulled in a couple OTA channels, ABC and MeTV. The wifi is very good, and free. We would stay here again. We camped at Burlington RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

At first appearances there is not much to do here. We finally found the Kit Karson County Carousel which is beautiful and went to The Dish Room for a beer. This is a very nice restaurant that could have a better name imho. It is near the second exit off of Lincoln. Go to the VFW for their breakfast buffet on Sundays, it's excellent.

This is a great overnight stop. Easy in & out & convenient to highway. The park is in 2 parts, separated from each other. We stayed in the new section that is all new pull through sites. There are no facilities in this section only full hookups. There is WiFi available. The owners are wonderful! We camped at Burlington RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very small yet conveniently located park with pull through sites. Good for overnight stay along the road. Beware of pulling out in different direction from which you enter because there is quite a drop off. No amenities. Reservations are not necessary. We camped at Burlington RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We had a great steak at the country club restaurant Spices On The Green. The owner and his wife were chef and server and a delight to meet. I don't think you could find a better meal in town. A bit pricey but well worth it.
