Staff friendly and knowledgeable of area attractions. Great mountain views. Very clean. Allowed pets and had several grassy areas to walk them. Full hook-ups & wifi. Basketball, bocce ball & shuffle board areas. Each site has a concrete patio, picnic table and fire pit. Seriously the best shower I've ever had in a bath house-clean tiled walls & floor, big shower head, lots of pressure. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We arrived just a bit early and we're allowed to check in. Wonderful hosts who took us to our site, cleaned off the outdoor table for us. They were able to sell us tickets to the Royal Gorge train ride and to Royal Gorge itself. Great water pressure! I wished we were able to stay longer but were on a schedule! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!! We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here just a couple nights but overall impressed with park, no conditions. Extremely well maintained sites and common areas. I didn't utilize the showers but you can tell they were recently renovated and are very nice if needed. I stayed in one of the premium sites(#8) and had a nice view out of our back window of the mountains. The sites all include a concrete pad , picnic table and fire ring. I see some reviews say the park may be a bit pricey but I would say it is completely worth a few extra dollars. To compare we drove through another local park and well...there is no comparison. This park has spacious sites and my space was perfectly level. Sites had a parking spot or plenty of parking area for your vehicle if you choose to disconnect. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park ideally located to Canon City and the Royal Gorge. Sites have concrete pads w/picnic tables. Park is immaculate and shows much pride of ownership - the owner has spent money to make the park very desirable. Highly recommend this park if you are in the area. Very nice park and employees go above and beyond to help. I actually saw one of them unhooking a car and helping a couple hook up. Very clean and great views. We did the Rocky Mountain wolf rescue. It was amazing. We also did the train through the gorge. Both were fantastic. We will be back. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice well maintained campground. However it is very over priced and I was disappointed they did not extend there military discount to disabled veterans. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Direct access from Hwy 50. 40 spotless sites. Helpful staff guide you to your site. We go every year and the Park never disappoints. We go with a 45 motor home and toad. Plenty of room for both, wide roads mean easy in/out. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I won't repeat what others have said. Small, beautiful park with killer views, concrete patios. new gravel and spotless grounds. It would be a 10 if only they would get cable TV :-) . No reception on the antenna, so bring something to read! We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a well laid out campground, making it easy to maneuver a big rig. The grounds are attractive & well-kept. The women's restroom & showers is newly renovated & is very nicely done. The free wi-fi was OK, but at times bogged down. Considering the park was not even 1/2 full, I can see that using the wi-fi during the busy summer months could be an issue. Web site says there is cable TV, but there is not. For this price, comparing to other campgrounds, there should be cable & the wi-fi should be better. If we stay here again, I would request site 7,8, or 9 to best enjoy the gorgeous mountain view from our rear window. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If your main windows are at the rear of your rig, try for a site on the west side of the park (sites 1-23) for the best mountain views.

The staff was very accommodating and polite starting with the phone reservations till the time we departed. The view is beautiful, and the resort is close to main attractions and downtown. The facilities are extremely clean with new bathrooms, a cozy area for BBQ and chilling. We chose the deluxe site and had a built-in fire-pit and concrete slab at our door. I love animals being a vegan, especially horses, and we had the pleasure to enjoy looking at them from our back window every day. Thank you for our wonderful stay. We will be back! One of the few parks we rate as a 10. Very clean, well cared for, open, and easy to navigate, even for big rigs. The campground is less than 10 miles from Canon City, near the turn off to Royal Gorge. The park entrance is just off the highway. Price is a rally rate for 7 nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The host escorted us to our site and helped us park. He then cleaned the picnic table and made sure the electric was ready for us to connect. The entire park is gravel as is the site space for the rig. We stayed at a "premium" site that had a patio and concrete walk. They have a clubhouse and a very nice outdoor patio for meetings/gatherings. This is the nicest campground in the area, highly recommended. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV park is as promised.Ther greet you upon arrival, lead you into the site and you check in later. The owner and work campers are friendly, helpful and well informed about the area. The site we had was a pull in with a nice concrete patio and walkway. During the time we were there 2 rallies came and went. As previously stated no tv but they are 5 miles out of town. We did the train ride, went to Cripple Creek, walked in town on the river trail, the tunnel trail and all were nice. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Motorhome.
